Ellen Pompeo Soaks in SoCal Sun
Expectant mom Ellen Pompeo takes a walk with her husband Chris Ivery and their two pet pooches in Hollywood Hills, Los Angeles on Friday morning (July 17).
Unfortunately, the 39-year-old actress wasn’t nominated for an Emmy this year but her Grey’s Anatomy costars Sandra Oh and Chandra Wilson were both nominated for Supporting Actress in a Drama Series. They’re up against four other actresses: Damages‘ Rose Byrne, 24’s Cherry Jones and In Treatment’s Hope Davis, and Dianne Wiest.

She’s never been nominated for an Emmy cos she’s a crap actress.

Actually Rose Byrne is not on In Treatment. She’s on the show Damages with Glenn Close and Tate Donovan.
She looks a bit tired but great.
And she was definitely snubbed in the Emmy’s.

better luck at the globes. you deserve an award for sure.
Ellen desrves an award for outstanding acting and prefomrances on greys. but the lead drama category has been the same for the past three years. its a shame they keep repeating the same list over and over again. lost of talented actresses ar ebeing snubbed beacuse of that. one of them is Ellen.

She is a talented actress. It’s sad that the Emmys snubbed her again.
She wasn’t nominated because she thought she was too good for the rest of the cast and submitted herself in the Lead Actress Category instead of one of the supporting cast like Sandra and Chandra. She has to realise that their are people who actually do not like her instead of living in her own bubble.
She looks great even in the simplest outfit. Emmy or not, Ellen is still a great actress in my eyes… and I’m sure she’s also a great person :)
Gosh I love her. I miss Grey’s :( I find it adorable that she’s wearing one of his shirts to fit over her ever growing tummy. Or, at least I think she’s wearing one of his. Haha. Anywho. Not long now… only a couple of months now before she’s due. SQUEEE! Gosh that kid is going to be gorgeous. Just like it’s mother. I wish the EMMY’s would recognize real talent and freaking nominate her. She’s been snubbed every year. Also… if people like Patrick Dempsey can’t get a nomination as supporting actor… how the frick would Justin Chambers get one? Gosh. The Emmy’s are so stupid! Glad Sandra Oh got a nom. and.. WOOHOO for no KH nom. Thank gosh!
Jade, its not her choice. you need the network and show permission on where to submit your name. Ellen is not allowed anything but the lead category, because she’s the lead and shows name sake. read the facts before you judge and hate for no reason. Patrick was given netwrok permission as long as Ellen remains in a lead category.
Plus, she is an amazing actress and I can’t imagine anyone portraying Meredith grey so well and so real like she does. one day she will get her award. She’s between a really tough group, the lead category. it’s enough that all the fans, critics and writers write about how she should be nominated for her amazing portrayal of Meredith Grey…
