Mischa Barton Navigates NYC
Mischa Barton lands with her dog at JFK airport in New York City and then takes a smoke break outside the Mercer Kitchen in Downtown Manhattan on Tuesday (July 28).
The 23-year-old former O.C. star spent almost two weeks under ‘involuntary psychiatric hold’. Los Angeles police say they escorted her for an undisclosed medical problem. But Mischa was recently released from the hospital and will resume filming her new TV show The Beautiful Life.
Mischa co-stars with Corbin Bleu, Elle Macpherson, and the show is executive produced by Ashton Kutcher.

I’m so happy to see her better. It’s so sad to know that a pretty, young and talented girl is passing thru a hard time. The pressure of Hollywood can be awful. We know it can be very hard. And papz, tabs… they can be so cruel! Mischa, you look so beautiful in these pics and I wish you a great sucess in your new movie and a great life too!
She doesn’t look rested at all to me, she looks like someone who was in serious distress and it shows.Wish her best.

She looks tired. She just got out of the hospital, why doesn’t she keep herself, low key instead of posing for paps. I hope she does not go the Lohan route.
It looks like she still has wisdom tooth problems. Joking aside, she needs time to recover not go back to work. Being locked up for several days in a psych ward and only being released for around a week, does not sound like enough time to get your life straight and make positive changes. Is she going to have a round the clock minder to keep her from her vices? Makes me wonder who really cares about her well being.

I don’t understand why so many of the young actresses smoke.
Looks are everything in Hollywood and cigarette smoking ultimately catches up with you.
Nasty filthy habit.
The dog may be a peke, but the face looks a bit too pointed. Has many of the charactistics tho. Could be a mutt with mostly peke in it.
They smoke so they won’t eat. Keeps the weight down. However, it is a dirty, filthy habit and you are right–it does catch up with you.
