Rihanna is bringing sexy back — literally — as she slips out in a sexy backless dress at her favorite New York City eatery, Italian restaurant Da Silvano, on Wednesday (July 29).

Since it was raining, the 21-year-old Bajan babe was seen holding a big umbrella from her hotel, the Trump International Hotel & Tower. (Rihanna sat next to hotel owner Donald Trump at the Katy Perry concert on Tuesday.)

I would love to say she looks good but I just don’t find this dress flattering. It’s a step in the right direction I suppose but the length is off and it looks like she’s wearing a skort in some of the angles.

Negative: Dress makes her look hippy and the shoes are tacky.
Positive: Much, much classier than her usual style. Decent makeup aside from the lipstick.
