Cate Blanchett: Happy 50th, Vogue Australia!
Cate Blanchett is breathtakingly beautiful in Ossie Clark at Vogue Australia’s 50th Anniversary Party at Fox Studios on Friday (July 31) in Sydney, Australia.
The 40-year-old Aussie actress will be featured on not one but four different covers for Vogue Australia’s highly anticipated birthday issue.
Supermodel Miranda Kerr also arrived just in time for the celebration.

Either this is the worst fitting dress ever, or Kate has lost a scary amount of weight.
The colour is lovely, but Kate looks awfully thin to me.

She is very classy. I love that she exudes class and confidence. I love that she is a mother of 3 and still takes care of herself and looks stunning. She is thin here. Usually when women have small kids they do one of two things: eat all the time including their kids unfinished food or they don’t have time to eat properly so they just don’t eat at all. Perhaps that is what is going on.
oh wow, i love this dress, so flowy and comfy and the color is beauiful. i want it but it probably costs thousands. looks simple enough to nick the design and make an imitation for less than 200. anyone? h & m maybe?

It’s pretty obvious she thinks she looks better not smiling with her teeth showing - you’d be hard pressed to find a recent pic of her doing exactly that. But she looks great with a full smile - full lips and nice teeth. She looks so restrained and controlled all the time now…actually kinda puts u off after a while

I think this is one of the worst dresses I’ve ever seen her wear. The fit is dreadful and the color washes her out. I’m surprised they would have allowed this mistake for a Vogue event. She is one of my favorite actresses, along with Meryl, and Nicole, and Tilda.
I think she has an eating disorder. She had always been reed thin, and she’s looking worse than ever now.
Is she pregnant again?

Gosh, she looks gorgeous! THE classiest not to mention the best actress on the planet! LOL @ Ali, doll, do you know anything about fashion? REDS do NOT wash people out, NUDES do! The red actually compliments her skintone and makes her look radiant.
Ummm…people who are saying she’s thin (which is probably the same person) need to catch up to speed. She has ALWAYS been thin, it’s not as if this comes as a surprise. But if people are trying to allude that she has an eating disorder you can’t even tell from these pix cuz you can’t even see her body under that dress!!! Now, if her ribs or shoulder blades were poking out, then yes, but THEY ARE NOT!!! This is a loose fitting dress. God, kids these days. *rolleyes*
