OlderBrad Pitt is Oobermind’s Metro Man
Brad Pitt is set to voice the superhero Metro Man in the upcoming animated flick, Oobermind.
According to Variety, Will Ferrell replaces Robert Downey Jr. in the title role of a supervillain who imagines all his dastardly dreams coming true after defeating Metro Man, only to find life quite boring without an adversary. To fill the void, Oobermind creates a new superhero, Titan (Jonah Hill), who also wants to be bad, forcing Oobermind to switch sides. Tina Fey voices the reporter tasked with keeping track of the city’s confusing superhero situation.
Today Show co-anchor Ann Curry asked Brad if he might be doing the movie in order to appear heroic to his and Angelina Jolie’s children: Maddox, 8; Pax, 5; Zahara, 4; Shiloh, 3; and twins Knox and Vivienne, 1.
“It’s just something they’ll enjoy and think that’s cool,” he responded.

Everyone should get off their “high” horse about the pot thing. Brad was a teenager in the 70s, as was I. If you didn’t do some pot you were in the minority. There was a ton of experimentation done quite openly back then, and yes that carried over to adulthood for some. For someone who became famous in Hollywood when he did, the amazing thing is that he wasn’t into cocaine and more….The important thing is that he has his priorities straight now. He is also entitled to his own views of religion and otherwise. At least he is honest and not going with the politically correct version of everything. Besides his point is that everyone should be able to live as they wish and that includes a right to your own religious beliefs. Also if you are going to villify anyone that drinks, especially at special events, I suspect half of Americans would be on your list. Most of them just wouldn’t admit it.
