Eva Mendes is Port of Call Pretty
Eva Mendes gets some shopping done with a bandage on the knee in West Hollywood on Wednesday (August 19).
The 35-year-old Hitch actress stars in a new movie Bad Lieutenant: Port of Call New Orleans.
Eva plays a prostitute and love interest of a drug-addicted homicide detective, played by Nicolas Cage. In the film, the detective investigates the massacre of a family of African immigrants in New Orleans, post Hurricane Katrina.
The movie will be featured as part of the Special Presentations at the 2009 Toronto International Film Festival being held in September.

Of course she’s going to play the prostitute. Either she’s naked in her movies or she doesn’t get the role.

If you have to portray a hooker then do it only once (and make sure you put in a stellar performance). Portraying a hooker more than once is an actress desperate for acting roles.. and a paycheck.
