Avril Lavigne: Safety Pin Pretty
Avril Lavigne wears sparkly safety pin jewelry (earrings and necklace) to the Axe Lounge party on Friday (August 21) in Southampton, New York.
The 24-year-old singer joined Rachel and Mike Heller (both pictured below) on the red carpet. Mike is the founder and CEO of celebrity marketing and strategy agency Talent Resources, which brokers partnerships between celebrities and consumer brands. He recently teamed up with Jon & Kate Plus 8 star Jon Gosselin.
Avril’s upcoming album, which is said to be more soulful, is set for a November 17th release.

This girl has the style of a 12 year old. She is 24 and she dresses like a teenager.
She looks like she made this entire outfit for $20 from some strip mall. Not appropriate for someone of her status and wealth. And probably for the event, whatever it is.
My niece has better style than her. My niece is 3.

The dress and shoes are not pretty. She has a style, it’s punk rock / skater chick. But she could have picked a better outfit than this. She doesn’t look so good overall. Usually I think she’s a very beautiful girl. Here she seems like she’s bloated from drinking too much. She did just come back from vacation, maybe that’s why.
