Rachel Zoe is back with a second season of her hit reality show The Rachel Zoe Project alongside husband Rodger Berman and assistants Taylor Jacobson and Brad Goreski. Here’s what the 37-year-old stylist to the stars opened up about recently:
On building herself up into a brand: “That’s the goal. A couple of years ago I thought to myself that I wanted to build a whole lifestyle brand and really educate people that anyone can have style. You don’t need a lot of money. I want to be really particular about what I put out, what message, so I don’t intimidate people. I love the challenge.”
On not pulling her clients in front of the cameras when she’s styling them: “At the end of the day if it happens organically and something is going on with a client and I’m like ‘Can we film this?’ and they say yes then great. But I don’t run around and solicit my clients and beg them to be part of the show because the show isn’t really about celebrities. It’s not. It’s really about business. It’s about fashion. And I don’t think it’s my client’s job to be on my [show]. They have enough going on.”

And I was pleasantly surprised at how non-Diva Rachel Zoe actually is. SHE IS CRAZY ABOUT FASHION, but in a good way. She even knows all the history to it too. Now that’s passion!

Years ago i used to work with Rachel,and she is one of the nicest people you could ever meet,yes she’s crazy about fashion but she always has been.I remember her being easy to work with and open to other people’s ideas.I wish her every success with the second season of her show.
i once read an interview where she said she wanted to ’stay behind the scenes’. ugh. i hate people who pretend to not want fame but want it anyway. if she wanted to ’stay behind the scenes’ she would not have a television show or a book or do magazine interviews.

you have to watch the show, Rachel Zoe is sooo sooo sweet, not fake sweet, just down to earth. And the way she dresses is AMAZINGLY individual.
really love her after watching her show, and i usually hate people after i watch their reality shows.

I love this show! I’ve been waiting for the season premiere for 6 months! Taylor is so great and I love her style! Rachel Zoe is so beautiful and her husband Rodger is the best! Brad is hilarious! This show rocks!
