Whitney Houston: Good Morning America!
Whitney Houston performs live on Good Morning America’s Summer Concert Series at Rumsey Playfield in New York City on Tuesday (September 1).
The 46-year-old singer performed four songs before apologizing to the 5,000 fans as she lost her voice while singing. “I’m so sorry. I did Oprah. I’ve been talking for so long. … I talked so much, my voice,” she said. “I shouldn’t be talking. I should be singing.”
Whitney long-awaited new album, I Look To You, is the first album she has made in seven years.

I think its great Whitney is back !!!
so phony…
She is so NOT back, and never will be.
Just watched her performance. It was horrible. She’s been gone so long, she’ll never make it back.
Seems like she loved singing 29 years ago….not so much now….probably just ran out of money and the record execs are trying to cash in on the name.
She looks 15 years older than she is…..drug abuse really ages people. Whitney looks used up
20 years ago, not 29!
her voice is gone and is never coming back, bye whitney
Just retire already, Whitney; in fact, call up Dr. Murray and take the honorable way out!
She did a fine job. I think going live after all these years takes getting use to again. She’ll get her footing again and she’ll be great. Whitney, stand strong and do your ‘thang’ gitl.

i was at that performance..she was great..she was losing her voice at times because she did not feel good. but her new songs were great and she had tons of energy =)

Enough with the excuses–she didn’t feel good, she was talking too much, blah, blah, blah. Her voice is gone. It’s completely trashed. She could barely sing. Anybody who makes excuses for her is in denial. Streisand can still sing beautifully after all these years. Why? Because she took care of her voice and didn’t become a crackhead to foolishly prove that she could be “street.”
I don’t know what is more tragic: Whitney’s bad decisions that led to the elimination of her vocal abilities or fans who blindly say, “She was great!” knowing full well that she was terrible.
Whitney — U R A HAS-BEEN!
Should have crawled out of the crack house much sooner….what a waste..
She WAS beautiful, she WAS talented, and her drug habit did her in.

… Just let it flow, it’s there, claim what belongs to you, Talent!
the hard part is over, God Bless! and good luck.
Wow check out what whitney is wearing here: http://tiny.cc/rR8ep
i listened to I LOOK TO YOU on the radio and this was the studio recorded version and even then she could not the the beautiful high ranges she use to .IF SHE CAN’NT EVEN SING WELL IN THE STUDIO AND SOUND GOOD , HOW THE HELL IS SHE GOING TO SOUND GOOD LIVE ? Let’s face it she has lost her voice ranges and i don’t if she will ever get it back .Maybe she start taking rigorous voice lessons reduce or better yet quit smoking and maybe she will recoup some of what she has lost this is really sad but the lesson here VALUE AND TAKE GOOD CARE OF A GOD GIVEN GIFT AND DON’T DO DRUGS THE PRICE YOU PAY IS DARN TOO EXPENSIVE
sorry i type very slow i meant if she could not hit the beautiful high ranges she used to do while in the studio how can she sing live?
SHE DOES NOT SOUND AS GOOD AS SHE USE TO. SHE THROUGH IT ALL AWAY FOR CRACK HEAD BOBBY.
