Drew Barrymore: 60 Minutes With Anderson Cooper!
Anderson Cooper interviews Drew Barrymore for a special report on 60 Minutes in New York City on Thursday afternoon (September 3).
The pair walked through Times Square and walked up along Broadway, ending at the Ethel Barrymore theater on West 47th Street (Broadway & 8th). Ethel is the aunt of actor John Drew Barrymore (Drew’s dad), which makes Ethel the great-aunt of Drew.
FYI: Drew is hosting a skating party at the Bonaventure Skating Center at 24505 Halsted Road in Farmington Hills, Michigan from 3-6 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 11. The first 955 fans in line will be let in to skate free!
P.S. Drew is wearing an Yves Saint Laurent dress, deep purple Ferragamo pumps, and Lacy Clear zipper pull earrings.

I adore her. From E.T. on I adore her. There were three Barrymores who were the definition of fine acting, both stage and film. Ethel, and her brothers, Lionel Barrymore and John Barrymore. (Look them up on imdb.) They were brilliant. Drew is John Barrymore’s grandaughter. He was an alcoholic as was her father, her mother and Drew, who started drinking at the age of ten! She’s overcome a lot and has managed to maintain a wonderful disposition. She is just lovely inside and out.

@ Ali: Why should he say he’s gay? Do people feel the need to say: “I am straight”. Nobody has ever asked me to state my heterosexuality so why should he talk about his homosexuality? What would that change anyway?
