Jay Leno Covers Time Magazine

Jay Leno takes the latest cover of Time Magazine to promote his new hour-long comedy variety show, The Jay Leno Show, which debuts on Monday, Sept. 14 @ 10PM ET/PT.

The 59-year-old talk show host shares, “We don’t gather anymore. It’s the difference between standing outside a comedy club and looking through the window and standing on the other side of the wall in the room. The experience is a hundred times better when you’re in the room because you’re part of a communal thing with other people. And that’s what TV is to me, a gathering place.”

Conan O’Brien, host of The Tonight Show, jokes, “My plan is to have a van that says The Jay Leno Show pick up his guests and drive them here. It could be 15 minutes before Robin Williams realizes what’s happening.”

I really hate and can’t stand this guy. Ya sure he’s a funny guy but his comic sketches are done with disregard for anything or anyone. I will never watch his show, ever. This guy has no class, integrity, and class compared to other really great comics out there.

I hate the whole jaywalking thing. Those people are complete idiots and can’t answer the most simple and basic questions about our country. I hate watching it and see nothing funny about their dumb a$$ answers.

I love this guy, the funniest show master I’ve ever seen, clever, witty, bitchy. I’m sorry that Conan O’Brien took his show, as the new one with Jay I won’t be able to watch here in Europe, and Conan I don’t like.

Such a show we also have over here, on the radio. They only broadcast the ones with the silly answers of course which makes a whole nation come across quite stupid. ;-)

not sure his show is gonna be that good but ill still watch for the week it premieres, hope it’s funny, dave gets boring after a while and i dont really like any late night hosts that much

Does Jay Leno make you think of regulatory signs? He should be called Regulatory Leno.
