Sparrow Madden: Nicole Richie’s New Son!
Nicole Richie and longtime love Joel Madden welcomed a son named Sparrow Madden early Wednesday (September 9).
The couple confirmed the news on Nic’s blog: “In the middle of night, the very early hours of September 9, 2009 Sparrow James Midnight Madden was born to Nicole Richie and Joel Madden. He weighs 7lbs 14oz. Nicole, Joel, [20-month-old daughter] Harlow and Sparrow are all doing well. Thank you for all of your good wishes.”
Congrats to the happy family!!!

oh good lord—that child will most definately end of gay with a sissy name like that. If it had to be a bird name-why not Hawk or Eagle or make it better—Hummingbird. Makes me think of a boy named Sue (how do you do).

And now…SPARROW JAMES MIDNIGHT? REALLY? What the hell..? I loved Harlow’s name but…Sparrow? Isn’t that a pokemon’s name or something? Personaly, i think its a very ugly name for a baby…but its my opinion.

I LOVE the name. I’m so tired of ‘normal’ names. I like that they are original.
I named my daughter Salem. I get nothing but compliments. I wanted something simple and different. I’m guessing they did also.
