Sarah Jessica Parker is a Material Girl
Sarah Jessica Parker goes back to the ’80s as she films new scenes for Sex and the City 2 in New York City on Wednesday (September 9).
The 44-year-old actress was joined by a preppy Kristin Davis and a rocker Kim Cattrall on the set.
Recently joining the cast of the movie is English actor Max Ryan who will play a European architect and the love interest of Kim Cattrall’s Samantha.

I must say theyve done a great job re-creating the oufits that were very popular in the 80’s to a T, very circa 1984-1985 Madonna vinatge ensemble.On the other hand I am a very huge fan of SATC and cant wait to see the sequel but a bit weary how theyre all in the 40’s-kim catrall in her will pull of playing themselves when they were in there 20’s
LOL . . .shows how dumb the 80s were when it came to fashion. They have done a good job of showing that.

Ewwwwwwww. These women are making my eyes bleed! I’ve never seen any episodes of SITC nor did I watch the movie. I won’t watch this one either. I’ll never understand what’s so appealing about 4 middleaged women who are desperate for men. To me, that’s just art imitating life and it’s sad. SJP’s hatchet-face is too ugly for words.

Yeah, you can dress up an old lady, but they’re still an old lady - blech - and fake boobs galore on SJP and I thought she had that fugly mole removed on her melon face - NASTY!

This movie will probably be about how it all began, and how they met each other. Judging by the get-ups they’ve been wearing on set.

Putting on 80’s theme clothing does not a real flashback make…for that they needed to hire YOUNG actresses…unless their characters looked really that old and used up 20 years ago LOL. It simply looks as if the present-day characters are going to an 80s theme party that’s all. This movie looks worse than the first. FAIL!
I hope they have CGI or some other technique like they did in The Curious Case of Benjamin Button to make them look younger. They sure look like rough trade in those pics and the outfits don’t help. It’s not like everyone in the 80’s dressed like this, but it was the decade of big hair lol.

These outfits looked ridiculous, even in the 80s (except for Kristin Davis’). SJP and Kim Catrall’s outfits look like an 80s costume you would wear to an 80s party today, not an outfit someone in their right minds would wear back then. Patricia Field must have been smoking something really strong when she put this look together.
they really couldnt have hired some actresses to be them when they were young….
it just makes the whole thing unrealistical
