I am disappointed in Ellen! This show pays men way more than women! Think she should have stood behind Paula. Think about history - women unable to vote, not have certain jobs and etc. Also, Ellen ripped music off on her show and now she is going to be a judge on musical show. Which shows she doesn’t understand how musicians make their money or doesn’t care, which I don’t believe. Just can’t believe she would do this! At least Paula has class!

#2,it is a tv showowned by aprivatecompany,andprivatepeople,producers.

If Paula were leaving the police dept. as a police officer.,a public grammar school job as a teacher, then Paula would be a ground breaker.

Paula should have stayed on and made her millions.

I think Ellen will be a wonderful and refreshing bonus to American Idol.
It was becoming stale and boring, and after a few episodes, I started watching other shows. Anything Ellen does is hysterical. Give her a chance, and if Paula wants to move on, that is her choice.
Maybe she was bored and tired of it also.
