Solange Knowles - MTV VMAs 2009
Solange Knowles arrives in style at the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards at the Radio City Music Hall in New York City on Sunday (September 13).
The 23-year-old singer will be helping the show by singing with the house band tonight, rapper Wale and go-go band UCB. She’ll also be joined by Kid Cudi, 3OH!3 and Pitbull.
The 2009 Video Music Awards will be hosted by Russell Brand and will air live @9PM ET/PT on MTV.

I like this outfit. I just wish the wrap around on her shoulder wasn’t as bulky as it is, because it looks like something is getting ready to eat her. I think she could have been a little bit more casual with this look. But her makeup looks fine, nothing really going with the hair of course. Uhm, I’ll give her an even A for this look.

pink lipstick is a tad 80s but it actually kind of works on her. as for the dress, that wrap thing looks like it was designed by the military. detail fail. otherwise the dress is actually rather nice. and she certainly has the body for it

She’s an amazing artist and songwriter (BTW how many songs did she pen for her Beyonce and Kelly being this young??).
Don’t get me wrong Beyonce is talented but Solange have the most powerful creative mind.
