Kristin Chenoweth - Emmy Awards 2009 Winner For Best Supporting Comedy Actress
Pushing Daisies actress Kristin Chenoweth takes home the night’s first award for Best Supporting Comedy Actress at the 2009 Primetime Emmy Awards held at the Nokia Theatre on Sunday (September 20) in Los Angeles.
The 41-year-old actress wore a sparkly Zuhair Murad dress, Tiffany jewels and a Anya Hindmarch clutch.

I just love Kristin Chenoweth–what an astonishingly good well-rounded performer–she exhibits a compassion, humanity, and a sense of humour in all her roles. I LOVED her in West Wing and she BEDAZZLED in Pushing Daisies. In fact, the supporting cast of Pushing Daisies out-shone the leads within weeks of season one. They just got better and better.
I’d like to suggest that Kristin Chenoweth and Chi McBride be supported in creating a spin-off series from Pushing Daisies. Swoosie Kurtz and Ellen Greene are also deserving of inclusion; sadly the same can’t be said about the leads Lee Pace and Anna Friel. They started off quite well but became more and more listless (and seemingly disninterested) as the supporting actors came into their own.
Yea Kristin!! I LOVE her! She is an amazing actress and singer…and so, so funny! I’m thrilled that she won! Btw…I would love to see her on The Office.
Go Kristin!!! Pushing Daisies was a great show, shame on ABC. Kristin is adorable, funny and incredibly talented- and she looked fantastic! I want her trainer, her stylist and her makeup artist. Any of the shows she mentioned would be lucky to have her.
