Ellen Pompeo Flaunts Post-Baby Body
Just two weeks after giving birth, Ellen Pompeo makes her first public appearance at the collection launch of Adidas Originals by David Beckham and James Bond on Wednesday (September 30) in Los Angeles.
“I feel great,” the 39-year-old Grey’s Anatomy actress told People. “Everything is fantastic [on the home front, and that the best thing about being a new mom is] everything. I’m the luckiest girl in the world!”
Ellen and husband Chris Ivery welcomed daughter Stella Luna Pompeo Ivery on September 15th.

Ellen looks great…and for people saying its bad for her to be out and about…It’s completely normal for a mother to have a night out, especially 15 days after, that means stella is 2 weeks and its not like she’s drunk walking the streets, its a night out with her hubby. It doesn’t mean she loves her child any less…it’s good for Ellen to have time away!
All these comments are so ridiculous…
When a celeb has a baby, there are 2 options:
1. The celeb stays chubby; people complain about how fat and ugly the star has become and don’t shut up about how the star used be hot before and now she’s a just washed-up mum.
2. The celeb loses the fat fast: people demonise the celeb, saying she’s a mediawhore that cares more about making money and her career than her child.
Does anyone alse see anything wrong with this?!

@Jennifer: I totally agree, some people say they are eating for two instead of eating healthy they get bloated with carbs and junk food and end up getting fat. How can a person gain 50-60 pounds and only have a 8 pound baby that is so dumb.

But I think it is not normal for a mother who gave birth two weeks before, to go out and leave the baby with a nanny or someone else.
its ok for the mom to leave for a couple of hours as a break for herself. donctors recomend it for new moms. helps the mother alot.
Dude, you can see some fat on her stomach area. She is wearing this black and not so tight dress for a reason.
Ellen had always been skinny, she didn’t gain a lot of weight on her pregnancy, so she is supposed to look as good as she does now.
She looks healthy IMO… and people posting here are going crazier and sicker by the day.

She looks amazing! I forgot she had a baby…didn’t that just happen like two weeks ago?!
btw… she wears a lot of sportive clothes. I’ve seen her with tons of Nike and especially Adidas stuff. She is carefree about her clothes, not dubious fashion taste, just a a carefree woman, that knows she is beautiful enough and can let her beauty speaks louder than her clothes and makeup.

She looks absolutely gorgeous. Still a bit of a bump, so she’s not losing weight too fast. But she only gained in her stomach and her breasts, so she probably lost a lot of it from the second Stella was born.
And a woman can’t stay in the house with a baby for 6 weeks straight and do nothing. For all we know, the baby is with a grandparent, who told Ellen and Chris to enjoy themselves. And Ellen has her phone with her, clearly ready for a call. This isn’t the 1900s, a woman doesn’t have to hide after giving birth.
