Angelina Jolie & Brad Pitt: Damascus Duo
Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt visit two Iraqi families in the Jaramana district of southern Damascus (the Syrian capital) on Friday (October 2).
The couple are calling attention to the the hundreds of thousands of Iraqi refugees who remain in exile. Angie shared, “Most Iraqi refugees cannot return to Iraq in view of the severe trauma they experienced there, the uncertainty linked to the coming Iraqi elections, the security issues and the lack of basic services. They will, therefore, be in need of continued support from the international community.”
After meeting with Syria’s President Bashar al-Assad and his wife, Asma al-Assad, Angie said, “It is clear that the Syrian people, no matter the challenges or difficulties they may face, have always shown generous hospitality to people in need. I hope that the rest of the world recognizes that we all have to share this burden and continue to take care of Iraqi refugees.”

Brad and Angelina surface in Syria
Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie were spotted today on the streets of Damascus’ old downtown, during a visit to Syria.
Jolie, in her role as UNHCR Goodwill Ambassador, visited Iraqi refugees in the poorest suburbs of Damascus. She was welcomed into the homes of two Iraqi families in the Jaramana district during the visit, according to the UNHCR.
The first family the star visited – mother, father and five children aged seven or under – were crammed into a squalid, stuffy one-room basement apartment with a tiny window. Most of their possessions, including mattresses, blankets and boxes of food, were provided by UNHCR.

Why is her face silver? At least she ditched that witch dress, but this is just as bad. The botox in her fivehead hides the bulgie vein, so that is something! There, I said something good about her!
She says she is 34? More like 43!
She’s such a great woman!
Is this the concerned face? I can’t tell with all the botox in her giant forehead.
angie sure knows how to dress elegantly and appropriately. She is admirable
So wonderful. I wish all celebrities were less selfish and self centered and focused on world issues like Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt. They set a great example of a good life well lived.
The best role model in hollywood is angelina jolie
You are so beautiful angelina. You make women proud of you
keep up the good work angel
Thanks for posting that. Its always good to hear when someone is trying to help others in this world. And to those with not nice things to say; go DO SOMETHING! Get off your butts and volunteer. At least Mrs. Jolie is doing something other then running her mouth, or worse, hiding behind a computer screen and typing mean things. Get a life. Mrs. Jolie has one, which she worked hard for!
Blessings to you and your family angelina jolie. You deserve all the blessing coming your way
Angie is in a league of her own. Haters please go away!
Both are good persons!
Wish you all the luck angie. Can’t wait for SALT to be shown. Miss you much on the screen
i wonder where they are adopting next. my sense is it is going to be very very very soon.
Your good works and deeds will come back to you a thousand fold angie. You will be blessed for the rest of your life
Can’t stand her phony a$$. You people need someone other than a fake, emaciated celebrity to worship.
