Dita Von Teese Dons Domina Leather at Dior

Dita Von Teese sits front row at the Christian Dior show as part of Paris Womenswear Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2010 on Friday (October 2) in Paris, France.

Before the show, the 36-year-old burlesque stripping queen tweeted, “Headed to Dior, in full blown 50’s domina leather. If Mr. Dior were to design a suit for a dominatrix, this is how it would look.”

After the show, Dita wrote, “It may have been [designer] John Galliano’s most exciting bow I’ve seen… drama! Had a nice chat with Rihanna and supermodel Estelle. Gorgeous girls! And now that I’ve kicked some fashion ass, I’m going back to bed!

I think the average woman would look completely ridiculous in this dress but Dita Von Teese completely works it. She’s perfect in this style. Now if she would only work on her makeup.

…It’s sexy without being tawdry. I would like to see her tone down the make up too. Sometimes I think it really distracts from her style.
