Rihanna: Givenchy Girl at Paris Fashion Week

Rihanna poses backstage during the Givenchy ready-to-wear fashion show during Paris Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2010 on Sunday (October 4) in France.

The 21-year-old Bajan beauty dressed in head-to-toe black and sat front row, sandwiched in between her super stylist Mariel Haenn and BFF Melissa. Backsage, Rihanna hobnobbed with Italian designer Riccardo Tisci, who is the creative director for Givenchy womenswear.

Earlier in the day, Rihanna attended Hussein Chalayan’s fashion show.

I’ve noticed Rihanna rarely wears couture well. It’s strange cause she’s quite tall and built like a model. It should be a natural fit but she seems to always cheapen her style and she rarely looks elegant as a result.
