Allison Iraheta: Friday I’ll Be Over U!

Check out the infectious new song “Friday I’ll Be Over U,” the first single off the debut album of American Idol vet Allison Iraheta.

“I worked with [Swedish producer] Max Martin, and he pulled it out of his magic box,” Allison told PopEater about the making of the song. “He came up with an awesome song and sent it to me and we cut it and it was just amazing. He definitely knows how to put himself in other people’s shoes.”

she sounds alot like kelly clarkson.

# 3

It is already available on iTunes!! Bying it now!!

My thoughts too, Janeth.

Also, maybe because of the title but when I heard it I immediately thought of The Cure’s song It’s Friday, I’m in Love. Ha.

# 6

It reminds of Selena Gomez…. not a good thing

Demi Lovato + Selena Gomez = Allison Iraheta.

I like/liked her voice but I don’t think this was the best song choice.

Wow, not what I was expecting from her at all. Kinda disappointed, actually. Way to sound like every other teenager out there today despite the fact you have an awesome, unique voice.

Bought it! Incredible! Can’t get it out of mt head!

i like her i liked her on the show but this is knida disapointing it sounds like every other song out their

and is this like a bad quality video?cause it got REALLY loud at around like :33 and it just sounded staticky

See even with the moderate computerization of the voice, THIS is what I expected Selena Gomez to sound like. Too bad she disappointed with her “album.”

I still think that Allison has proved her VOCAL talent before, and she will have a pretty stellar record.

are you kidding? allison’s voice is much, much and i mean much stronger than demi and selena put together.

It should have been her and Adam in the finals. Kris is s**t.

Yaay! Go Allison *.*

I give her a year or two, and she’ll be forgotten. She does have a beautiful voice, but really cannot pick decent songs. Yes, it is catchy and will be stuck in your head for days, but beyond that, it really doesn’t have a lot going for it.

wow. that’s a singer! awesome. i wanted a slower song as the first single to show her raspy voice but this will do!

LOVE IT!!!!! cant wait to see her win a Grammy!!!!!!!!!!

This song is amazingly addictive! and I think the comparisons to Demi are fair.. but I think Allison might be more rocky.. however she is waaaaaay better than Selena! Her talent in her vocals is unbelievable!

Love it! <3

LOUSY. nothing great. so boring. just like pink + kelly clarkson, the watered down and poorer version. EEW

I like her voice and she has something special. It’s a nice catchy number good for the young uns. She can do so much better given the right songs.

The cover is just like Ashley Tisdale , Guilty pleasure.

So we have, Selane gomez, Pink, Kelly Clarkson and Demi lovato.
Not very one of a kind.

Yes, very disappointed. Allison has a GREAT voice ~ but this always happens right out of the AI gate! You love somebody on Idol, then TPTB get hold of their first album and down they go! Same ole same ole! It happens to the best of them! Maybe her second album will be better ~ I hope so! But if this single is like the rest of her songs, I won’t be buying it!

@s.. P!NK in the same category as Selena and Demi? Wrong on so many levels!!
