‘In The Heights’ Cast Run This Town

Cast members from the his Tony Award-winning musical In The Heights — Kyle Beltran, Karen Olivo and Lin-Manuel Miranda — sing their own rendition of Jay-Z’s hit song “Run This Town” featuring Rihanna and Kayne West.

The video introduces the first national tour cast of In The Heights, which kicks off on Tuesday (October 27) at the Tampa Bay Performing Arts Center in Tampa, Fla. Check the official site to see if ITH will be performing in a city near you. Check it out below!

This is so much better than the original, Rihanna’s singing was like her claws on the chalkboard. there are obviously a lot of talented ppl who are not famous, and this makes me wonder how some other ppl got in the biz

Great video. Great artists. Lin Manuel Miranda is brilliant! Did you see his HSM2 spoof? I wish he was still starring in “In The Heights”, because he was perfect in it! I can’t imagine anyone else playing Usnavi, but it looks like Kyle will bring a different energy to the role. Go see this tour!
