OlderTaylor Swift: Saturday Night Live’s New Host!
Taylor Swift will host Saturday Night Live on November 7.
“I’ve been thinking about skit ideas for a long time,” the 19-year-old country cutie tells The Associated Press. “There are definitely some hilarious things that have happened to me over the past couple of months that I think will be pretty substantial skits.” (She would be referring to Kanye West ruining her VMAs win.)
Taylor added, “I love being around people who I feel have a different kind of creative genius. And the funny genius is definitely a fascinating one to be around.”
Will be collaborate with SNL regular Andy Samberg on a digital short music video? Most likely.
Taylor shared, “Of course I’ve been such a fan for a long time, but I’ve gone back and re-watched everything over the past couple of months and digital shorts would be so much fun to do, because they’ve been done so well. Andy Samberg is hilarious.”
In other news, Taylor will perform on Dancing With the Stars on Tuesday, Oct. 27.

I’m so tired of hearing Taylor Swift. Her music is crap. Shes is an annoying celebrity , she even looks annoying. Every time I hear her song on the radio it makes me so annoyed I just want to shoot my radio. Taylor make better songs and learn to do your makeup better biotch.

Love Taylor. Love SNL. Very, very happy to hear that she’ll be hosting. I’m definitely looking forward to the episode. And to maybe hate on SNL a little bit now, (albeit a bit tired) is slightly reasonable. But folks. Taylor’s a kid. She’s 19. “An annoying celebrity?” She was the top selling artist last year. She’s doing something right. And, yes, her music tends to be geared toward the younger set so if you’re over thirty and “annoyed” by her, maybe get a life? Or an iPod so you don’t risk hearing her “crap.”

Yeah, jesus christ, what a bunch of hateful, ignorant idiots. She wrote that monologue, which was clever and funny and I think it’s awesome. Also, what makes some of you guys think you can criticize when you can’t even spell or include proper punctuation?
