Paranormal Activity Covers ‘Entertainment Weekly’

Paranormal Activity stars Micah Sloat and Katie Featherson scream up a storm on the latest November 6th cover of Entertainment Weekly.

The mag explains the movie’s tale of terror: how a tiny $11,000 movie became a big, scary smash.

“It’s pretty exciting,” says writer-director Oren Peli, who celebrated the triumph with “a plain cheeseburger and a Jack and Coke” on the set of his next film, Area 51, in Utah.

Though neither Micah or Katie has lined up another job, they’ve both signed with agents. And they seem almost embarrassed by the VIP treatment the industry is starting to give them. “The quality of meetings we’re able to get right now is much higher. So are the scripts,” says Katie. And Micah has at least one idea for spending his newfound capital. “I would love to have a massive party and meet all the sweaty, geeky, awesome fans who posted on the Internet and believed in the film,” he says. “I just want to thank them.”

We really thought it was true documentary made by two regular people,
So, when they said thank you to police for the footage..it’s not even really true that they retrieve something like that from the police…???? We really thought it was true story. That’s why were so freaked out. Anyways.. the movie is great.. it really scared us to death., we even had to watch another movie to erase the horrifying scenes we saw in the movie from our minds.
