Check out the new trailer for Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time starring Jake Gyllenhaal, Ben Kingsley, Gemma Arterton, and Alfred Molina.
The epic action-adventure is set in the mystical lands of Persia. A rogue prince (Gyllenhaal) reluctantly joins forces with a mysterious princess (Arterton) and together, they race against dark forces to safeguard an ancient dagger capable of releasing the Sands of Time—a gift from the gods that can reverse time and allow its possessor to rule the world. Directed by Mike Newell, produced by Jerry Bruckheimer. Out May 28, 2010!

Looks gorgeous. Looks like a good movie. I can’t wait to give it a try.
Pirates of the Carribean… with sand.
Jake’s been bearding 2 1/2 years for this? Jake is showcasing his standard ernest expression or his annoyed expression-both of which he displays regurlarly on his staged coffee runs with Witherbeard. Was Jerry Bruckheimer trying to make a Pirates of the Carribean in the desert? Cause Jake is no Johnny Depp.
The movie look mediocre. It’ll make a lot of money, but it has no substance.

OMG. I almost didn’t recognize him. He is SO hot! But this looks like all those Mummy/Scorpion King movies with the Lord of the Rings stuff thrown in except it’s a dagger.But Jake is definitely no Frodo! LOL!!! I’ll see it just to check out his hot body. His accent sounded cool, too. I just saw him in Day After Tomorrow and he sure looks different.

The Prince was so busy brushing, flossing and whitening his perfectly straight teeth at least twice a day that he never had time to wash his hair.

Looks like a mix of Mummy, Scorpion King, POTC and 300. Yawn, I won’t be seing this.

I dont think the character suits him, he looks out of place in the movie.

Can’t believe Jake gave up being a serious actor and what seemed like being a nice guy to star in a stupid movie like this and be associated with Reese. Maybe when he gets all the sand out of his ears, he will come to his senses.
Beautiful looking film and Jake’s accent is perfect. But the dialogue!?! Did Disney confuse this with one of their cartoons?

meh, i was underwhelmed by the trailer, but i’ll probably watch it.
