Kate Walsh Brings H&M to Hollywood
Kate Walsh shows off some fabulous shoes at the Jimmy Choo for H&M Launch Party in West Hollywood on Monday (November 2).
The 42-year-old Private Practice actress showed off her figure in a crushed velvet blazer with a dramatic cutout and treggings.
Kate and other party guests listened to music by M.I.A. and checked out a sneak preview of what’s to come from Jimmy Choo’s collaboration with affordable retailer H&M.
The new Jimmy Choo collection will hit H&M stores on November 14.

I usually love her, but this… the hair (looks like it’s wet), the weird blazer and… treggings. ugh. Leggings won’t be more likely to wear on an everyday base just because they have a different name. Still leggings, still not trousers.

Why can’t this woman dress her age? She looks fabulous from the front and then has to go and ruin the look with some backless jacket meant for the girls from The Hills. She’s a beautiful woman with a fabulous figure. I just wish her stylist would realize that!

Not liking the velvet material, but not a bad look overall. Certainly nothing age inappropriate about the back of the jacket. It is just a little cut out.

Not good for a woman who’s career is based only on her good looks. It’s going to be over the same day they cancel Private Practice.

I became a fan of Kate and Private Practice this summer. I am not one to follow a celeb but she I just adore her. She looks radiant and has gorgeous skin. 42 is not old, but she looks younger. Amazing gorgeous actress with a fun personality!

@Christina–I agree: all I like is the shoes. Unfortunately, although they’re pretty, I think they make her feet look kind of big.
I don’t think wearing her hair pulled straight back does anything for her.
I don’t think the cutout jacket is age inappropriate, just inappropriate in general. Well, “inappropriate” isn’t the word, really–but why would anyone cut the back out of a jacket? But what do I know–I live on a teacher’s salary and buy my clothes at Sears.
I prefer pictures of Kate at places like Disneyland on the weekend rather than at a celebrity function on an evening after a full day at work. In general, I think she’s much more beautiful when she isn’t as decked out (this year’s Emmys being a notable exception).

#17 Haha, you are funny. I guess to go from guest-star to having your own show that is now ABC’s third highest rated, doesn’t require any talent ?!! Give me a break !! Kate will be around for a long time. Unlike other Greys stars, she was an actress before, and will continue afterwards. Already has several upcoming movies :)
