Chris Brown Opens Up to MTV This Friday
Chris Brown will speak to MTV this Friday (November 6) at 6 PM ET/PT.
The 30-minute special, set in a Virginia recording studio, will have MTV’s Sway asking Chris, 20, tough questions about what happened in February.
Chris will speak about the struggle with how the public sees him now, how it may have affected his fans and how he’s working to change himself, by going to anger management therapy, group sessions and community service.
Be sure to catch Chris on Friday at 6 PM and Rihanna on Good Morning America tomorrow morning for both sides of the story!

Why do another interview, when he only side steps the subject. He needs to get more counseling and sit his abusive self down somewhere

Sway cut his dreads! ‘Bout time. MTV is really lame for airing this interview the same week that Ri is speaking for the first time. Chris has already done 2 big interviews (Larry King & Angie Martinez). Now Chris’ album is pushed up a week closer to Ri’s release. smh.

This is total BS. They’re both using the despicable, violent incident to get publicity for their new albums. I don’t believe a word Chris says, he never really mans up, just vague side stepping and blaming. BS.

@lexy: she has a right to talk about it any time and as much as she damn well pleases. she’s the one that had her face beaten in , horns on her forehead, bitten. People seem to forget that he bit her like a rabid loon.
I’m sure Chris has a good heart and he completely regrets doing what he did, but unfortunately it’s done with and for the rest of his entire career he’ll be known as “the guy that beat up Rihanna”.
Okay, what I don’t get is why when Chris gets help, does what the court tells him to do, and “admits” to what he has done, pretty munch owns up to what he has done, he still the monster.
But Rihanna who hasn’t done a thing but take pictures all year and just now before her album comes out, chooses to become brave and stand up for domestic abuse and for women is named Women Of The Year and treated like a saint? Exploiting an issue as serious as this is not praise worthy.
I’m not a fan of either one but I’m sick of people not giving this kid a chance after he has paid his sentence and putting Rihanna in the poor little puppy victim role.

Oh please she’s NOW speaking out - just in time for her album? Domestic violence is a serious issue and it’s sad that Oprah and Tyra were there standing up for her and she had nothing to say then! And Glamour giving her woman of the year is a bigger joke! A woman who can use her celeb status to enlighten other women and encourage them to get help but instead will only do so when she needs to sell her album.
Ike Turner - do you really think this woman is the doormat/insecure type? She runs around on stage half naked and gyrating to music - clearly she’s not some church mouse. I’m sure she didn’t just sit there and let him beat her up. She probably got in a few good licks herself or started the fight! Which is why she never spoke up. Some couples get off on fighting b/c the make-up sex is good but this time things got out of control.
I’m not a fan of either of them but he needs to stop apologizing and move on. You don’t see R. Kelly apologizing for bedding down kids. If he doesn’t move on, no one will.
