Amanda Peet & John Cusack Face the Apocalypse
John Cusack, Amanda Peet and co-star Chiwetel Ejiofor hit the red carpet at the Berlin premiere of 2012 on November 9 (Monday).
The 43-year-old actor stars as a failed novelist who’s split up with his wife and has to pull his family back together to save them from the apocalypse.
John told the AP he likes the aspect of forgetting human divisions and banding together to solve problems. “Cutting through all the kind of petty divisions. No more China, Russia, United States. Jew, Palestinian, Christian, Muslim,” he said. “It’s just people.”

Thanks for the pix - I’ve always had a huge thing for Cusack….. think I’m still single because no guy has ever been enough like Lloyd Dobler for me lol. Seriously though, I know he’s moved into more mainstream / action movies but I miss his more comedic & film noire side. There was nothing better than his early nerdy films and stuff like Pushing Tin, Gross Pointe Blanke, the Grifters, and too many others to name. I am prolly one of the few that actually found The Ice Harvest entertaining; hope he can find that darker edge again but wish him luck in whatever he does. Love his sister too - she’s hysterical.

First of all, love John Cusack most esp in The Sure Thing. Glad that he’s on this blockbuster movie as he’s one of the most low-profile & under-rated actors around.
And 2012 already got a “25 MILLION OPENING NIGHT. Hope they could still be No 1 at the box-office till next week beating that over-hype-crap Twilight: New Moon.
2012 is the film to beat this 2009!!!

Chiwetel not worth putting in the headline? he’s in the main picuture as well yet no mention. by the way, he does an amazing job in this movie :) ans john cusack was perfection!

John Cusack has always been cool, I think he’s a very underrated actor and Amanda Peet is just adorable and funny. I’ll go see this typical disaster movie with these two in it.
