Amanda Peet, who currently stars in the blockbuster 2012, takes the December 2009 cover of Self Magazine. on NY/LA stands on Thursday. Here’s what the 37-year-old actress shared:
Her fantasy body pick: “If I could choose and ideal body, I’d take Gisele Bundchen’s. I challenge anyone to say she wouldn’t want Giselle’s body, deep down. Actually, I’d take a number of people’s bodies. I’d take Jennifer Aniston’s too. I want boobs, a gentle six-pack and a perky butt.”
On her secret crush: “I’m obsessed with Julia Louis-Dreyfus. If she knew how much she was in my household late at night or in the wee hours of the morning, she might be disturbed! [My screenwriter husband David Benioff] a and I both have a crush on her.”
On parenting her two year-old daughter Frankie: “You have to put your oxygen mask before you put on others’. It’s a good metaphor for parenting, but it’s really hard to do sometimes. A lot of women feel that if they’re exerting energy in different areas of their life or are really passionate about other things, it’s automatically detrimental to the child.”

She can’t be serious about every woman wanting to have Giselle’s body. Giselle’s practically skin and bones, although, I guess in Hollywood that’s a plus. But, she’s got no butt, and no boobs.
Not every one wants that horse-faced hag’s body. And Amanda Peet’s face is too lined and weathered for 37, she ought to layoff whatever is making her look like a crypt keeper.
Speak for yourself girl! There’s so many more bodies that are more attractive then Giselle’s.

I love Amanda Peet. One of my favorite movies is “She’s The One” with Jennifer Aniston, Cameron Diaz, John Mahoney, Edward Burns and Amanda Peet. Amanda plays Jennifer Aniston’s sister. Good little movie and funny!
