Michelle Trachtenberg to Design Jewelry for Coach
Michelle Trachtenberg will design a jewelry collaboration for Coach’s Poppy line, WWD reports.
The 24-year-old Gossip Girl actress’ first jewelry collection will be in stores this coming spring and will include faux pearls, intricate hardware and crystals of all sorts of colors.

WTF? I really liked Michelle Trachtenberg. But it always annoys me to see celebrities with no talent designing jewellery or clothes or whatever. When I think about how much hard work talented students have probably put into trying to get an opportunity to do something like this…it’s depressing. On the other hand though, only an idiot would buy something because it was designed (or supposedly designed) by a celebrity. A fool and their money being easily parted and all…
Remember the days when actresses knew that their job was to act? And they were actually pretty good at it? Yeah neither do I.
My theory is that they’re so wrapped up in the god-like status which Hollywood bestows on them, that they actually believe that they are brilliant at other things - even things they’ve never tried before or have no knowledge of. Whereas, realistically, at least 70% of Hollywood actresses are on our TVs or in the movies because they show their breasts. They’re just one t-shirt away from a job at Hooters.

They show skin because most movies or shows today have weak plot lines, so directors/producers figure it’s a sure way to get more men to watch them. There are still some actresses that refuse to show that much skin, but still get roles. I don’t mind seeing nudity in movies as long as it’s at least remotely relevant to the plot or that person’s character in the movie.
