OlderAdam Lambert: Ready to Rock the AMAs
Adam Lambert arrives at L.A.’s Nokia Theatre for American Music Awards rehearsals on Thursday (November 19).
The 26-year-old singer will be performing “For Your Entertainment” on Sunday’s show, which airs at 8/7c on ABC! “My band and dancers are siiiiick,” he tweeted.
Idolator spoke with Adam at the Hot Hollywood Party - here’s what he had to share!
On Lady Gaga’s fashion when nobody’s looking: “She walked in the studio wearing this beautiful coat and took off the coat and was wearing this bra top and midriff and this see-through pencil skirt with these crazy fishnet stockings and platform stripper boots. She was incredible. That is the real deal.”
On whether he dresses up every day: “I like to wear crazy stuff. I mean, if I’m hanging out at home watching TV… But I like expressing myself, I like stuff that’s not typical. I like being different. Being different and being eccentric feels normal to me.”
On Kris Allen’s album: “It’s fantastic. I got a copy from a publicist. What I love about his album is he really stayed true to what made him so fantastic on the show because he’s an incredible musician, he’s got a beautiful voice and he’s honest. I think those songs really captured his spirit.”

Adam is not 26. He will be 28 in two months. Yes, I know that is a bit ‘old’ to start a pop career, but it is the truth.
What a cheapskate. He couldn’t even find a ten spot to support his friend’s album? I hope Kris gets a copy of Adam’s album from a publicist. I suspect Adam’s album will be easy to find in trash bins everywhere, since Glamberts are ‘gifting’ them to everyone they know, whether the recipient wants it or not.

Kris and Adam promised to GIVE each other their albums a long time ago. Adam is a beautiful person and very true and loyal to his friends. What is your problem Amy? Do you really have to bash someone for being generous and kind?

Wow, ok, he does NOT try way too hard. that’s just who he is. if you followed him at all on american idol or knew anything about his career up that point you’d know that this is how he’s been his whole life. he is an AMAZING performer with one of the best voices I’ve heard in forever. give him a break guys

Just saw Adam Lambert of the AMA’s. WHAT THE HECK WAS THAT? I agree with Lisa2. He did not belong there. Broadway is best he should or could or might do. The performance was not for the younger “kids” at the Kodak….can not imagine ABC even allowed such sexual crap to air.
