Halle Berry & Nahla are Grocery Girls
Halle Berry and adorable daughter Nahla are stylin’ as they leave Bristol Farms supermarker in Beverly Hills on Thursday (December 10).
The 43-year-old actress carried Nahla, 20 months, out to the car while Nahla carried an Elmo ornament!
THR caught up with Halle as she took home the Sherry Lansing Award for leadership and asked her what it meant to win the award.
“I’ve never really considered myself a leader,” she said, “that’s not something I set out to do.”
“I hope this just means that I’ve been leading by the example and the way I live my life.”

I wish people would stop saying that Michael Jackson’s kids are not his because they don’t look half black. When I look at Paris and Nahla, they both look biracial to me.
Barack Obama has a white mother and a black father and still, he took more on his father side. That means it’s also possible to have a black parent and inherit more on the white side.

She has her Dad’s eyes which look good on him, not so much on the kid. She looks strange. I can’t put my finger on it but she doesn’t look “all there”. Sort of creepy in the same way that Suri is.

Wow she is huge for her age. Hate to see what she looks like when she gets older. She was pretty as a baby but, not so much now.

You won the award because you’re black, love. I’d agree with you that you don’t display leadership.
Nahla (isn’t that the name of one of the lions in the Lion King btw?) is cute but not gorgeous. She’s only “gorgeous” because her parents are both model material, and therefore it’s expected that she should look like one too. But who knows, she may well be one day. It’s surprising how much some kids change.
Kind of sick of the self-righteous people who swear up and down that all babies are the cutest things on earth and then lash out at anyone who disagrees. I mean you have a point - it’s cruel to judge a kid by the looks. But you can’t bring up the subject (i.e. say a baby is cute) if you’re not prepared for other people to take a different stance.
