Nancy Kerrigan’s Dad Dies, Brother Arrested
Figure skater Nancy Kerrigan’s father has passed away, and her brother has been charged with assaulting him.
Daniel Kerrigan, 70, was found dead in the family’s home in Massachusetts over the weekend, according to the Associated Press. His son, Mark, 45, was charged with assault and battery and authorities identified the victim as his father.
According to the report, Mark told officers he struggled with his father after Daniel wouldn’t allow him to use the phone.
Nancy’s mother Brenda told the Boston Herald that there was nothing suspicious about her husband’s death and that he’d died of a heart attack.
Our thoughts go out to the Kerrigan family…

Wow, how horrid. Can’t imagine how tormented the family is right now.
may he rest in peace. It’s always sad to hear that someones died. It’s honestly everywhere
This is terrible! What son fights with his 70 year old father over anything, especially a phone! Couldn’t he have used his cell, or gone to a call box somewhere. I can understand a 12 year old but not a 45 year old.
Terrible news
RIP sounds like there is more to the story! brother must be drug addict or mental would be my guess!
And how would the mother know anything?? She’s legally blind from what I remember and couldn’t have seen a damn thing.
I’m very sorry that Miss Kerrigan has to deal with this. It sounds unbelievably tragic. Please please stop domestic abuse and violence. Strangely enough, every family has experienced it. It’s horrific. RIP to Mr. Kerrigan and may justice be served.
Is she working at the olympics
Never liked Nancy Kerrigan
RIP. :( That is terrible! Poor nancy. :(
RIP. As if this woman has not had enough and now this? Terrible.
Now how would Brenda the mother know that since she is blind and could not see what happened. She is trying to protect her son.
this girl is cursed
I feel sorry for the family. Sounds like the brother has some serious anger issues.
THAT’S SAD, hope the brother didn’t cause the death :(
Terrible tragedy.
I wish her family well
