Congrats to Who Dat nation on their win. I’m actually a cowboys fan but I am happy the saints won. Watching the people of New Orleans celebrate brought a big smile to my face that city deserves this and I hope they enjoy it

Even the Olympics? Is this just for American audience?
I’m pretty sure the Olympics opening ceremonies attract many more times that number.

THE AMERICAN POPULATION is estimate to be 304,059,724 - Jul 2008.
this event was all about bringing communities around the us together. and im glad people take notice of what New Orleans went throught, sure this cant help the lost ones of kathrina but surely this was a sign of victory and remembrance.

Too bad the color commentary sucked. Jim Nance and Phil Simms were too beige to give commentary. It was like they were calling a chess match.

Holy cow that’s almost 1/3 of America watching.

I was there. Hottest place to be. That was a good game. I thought Colts was going home with it but I was surprise with the Saints come back.

@Nice:

I totally agree. Phil Simms had to eat his words so often during the match. I turned down the volume to escape the commentary.

@pump it:

It’s only for US audience. The most watched game ever (as said) is usually the World Cup Final, that averages about 1 billion viewers.
According to reported ratings (I believe that the NYT reported it), the 2006 Germany World Cup averaged about 450 million viewers per game (excluding major matches, like semi and final games). Not even close.
