OlderBeyonce: The Face of 'Fashion For Haiti'
Beyonce Knowles has been named the official face of the ‘Fashion For Haiti’ t-shirt!
The 28-year-old entertainer is encouraging people to buy the shirt, created by Peter Arnell, who also created a mended heart logo shirt that raised $2 million for charity after 9/11. B was named spokesperson through the Council of Fashion Designers of America.
The shirt costs $25 and will benefit the Clinton Bush Haiti Fund (Leonardo DiCaprio contributed $1 million to the same fund!).
“Join me and the fashion industry by buying and wearing the Fashion for Haiti T-shirt,” Beyonce said (via People). “Together we can send a message of hope by raising much needed funds for the people of Haiti.”

So, it’s too much trouble for her to dig deep and make a donation?! She is such an opportunist. After bragging about the amount of money she makes she can’t even peel off a couple million, she has to commercialize the plight of Haiti selling t-shirts. It will flop like her Obama fashion t-shirt.
Wow, too much make up, she looks like a drag queen, what happen to beyonce she looks different lately, i think she should have take it easy on the make up and chooses something sober, neutral, for the cause, it’s not the grammys here, it’s not credible, looks like she is more promoting herself rather than the cause, that what i dislike with beyonce.

Beyonce did not donate any money to Haiti as far as we know, both she and her husband declined when asked to participate in the recording of We are the World or whatever song it is for which all proceeds would go directly to Haiti, she did not participate in the telethon and she gets to be the face of these shirts?! All she ever does is inject herself into everything for her own promotion. If she couldn’t be the official spokeswoman and have her face plastered everywhere she wouldn’t participate. She’s a joke.

Didn’t see make $80mil last year or something along those lines? I don’t care what anyone says, if every single celeb shouting from the roof tops about Haiti put together 1mil each, that would make a big difference.

How do you know they didn’t donate? How do you know they didn’t donate to multiple different organisations? How do you know it’s not more than a million or millions alltogether? What, they have to make a press conference everytime they donate? Just so you would know about it?

Angelina and Brad donated 1 million to Haiti. That’s $500,000 each. Madonna is running a $15 million school in Malawi. Beyonce has several organizations she donates to. She donated her $4 million paycheck from Cadillac Records to a Rehab Center. She also does stuff on the lowkey. Like visiting victims of sexual trafficking,the only reason people found out is because the company thanked her in a letter,she was only supposed to stay for a couple of minutes,but she ended up staying for several hours talking to the girls. I bet the people complaining on here about how much celebs have donated,have given ****. So sit down.

Beyonce is not the type to donate and ANNOUNCE to everyone that she has. It is on record that she donated an amount but she has probably donated more to different organiations supporting the same relief. Also, she participated in the telethon to raise money and I’m sure some of her personal proceeds will go as well. Bottom line she’s not a personal bank account so just like you donated whats in your heart, I’m sure she’s done/is doing the same. While you’re worried about how much she gave, how much did you? Oh ok…but I’m sure you have a roof over your head and clothes on, which is more than the people of Haiti can say…Focus on the main issue people!!

Both Jay-Z and Beyoncé donated 500,000 dollars to Haiti, which equals to 1 million dollars total. Bradgelina donated a million so did Leonardo DiCaprio, George Clooney, etc.
Some charities only allow a certain amount of money to be donated at a time. Judging by the amount everyone has donated, it seems that 1 million is the limit.
So all this she has a lot of money, she could have donated more should stop. All those other people have way more money that Jay and Bee.
