Leona Lewis: Giddy Up in Glendale
Leona Lewis goes for a ride at a stable on Tuesday (March 9) in Glendale, Calif.
The 24-year-old singer, who recently got a tattoo proclaiming her love for her favorite animal, went for a ride and seemed to have a blast.
Leona’s new tattoo runs from her neck to her back and reads, “Their beauty captures every eye, a gift from God for all mankind, they lend us wings so we may fly, to ride a horse is to ride the sky” (via Daily Mail).

I love horses too. I go to the racetrack all the time and bet on them and watch them get whipped by jockeys. Ha Ha

And btw she is such an animal rights person but she seems to be using that animal for her own enjoyment isn’t she? I’m sure that horse would rather not carry Leona around if he didn’t have to.

Her horse is lovely. It looks to me like she has an ipod in. OR she is having a professional lesson and they are using a device to teach her and her horse. They look a lot like that and I have used quite a few in my lessons. her horse looks very happy and she has pretty decent hands. It’s a shame she rides in those draw reins. They are just an easy out of actually working your horse.

Draw reins are a training tool dummy….pretty much every pro rider uses them from time to time when schooling.
You only need draw reins if you are a bad rider. Which she obviously is, and you could see that if you knew anything about horses and riding..

Draw reins are for training… you clearly don’t know much about horses if you think bad riders only use them. In this case, however, the horse is definitely just on the draw-rein–they should be looser.
She is very cute, pretty and interesting!
