Christina Aguilera performs a two-song set during American Idol on Wednesday (May 26) in Los Angeles.
The 29-year-old powerhouse singer belted out her classic “Fighter” and “You Lost Me,” a new ballad from her forthcoming Bionic album.
Christina recently postponed her summer tour. She said, “With both the album press and film press, I am booked the entire summer and need time to focus on the work at hand.”

The control it took to sing that song live with no theatrics, no dancers, or no crazy props all over the place is just amazing.
She went into so many registers and the opening of You Lost Me just had such great texture.

I’m glad she had this positive performance…and I heard she injured her back during practice so this probably wasn’t even the song she was suppose to do but she nailed. Good for her!
I’ve never bought any of her music but I will this time the day it comes out just sick of all the Gaga Copycat Crap.
People can say what they want about Christina what they can’t say is she’s not talented! Christina is super talented, her vocals gives me chills. This performance was absolutely beautiful, the song was brilliant and you can tell she got really emotional. This is what a singer is all about! Bionic is an amazing album and I hope people can stop calling her fake, copy-cat, etc when she’s been around since 1999.

Amazing performance…I love Xtina, and once again she proves what a great vocalist is. No theatrics or gimmicks just live singing! So far people have been ragging on her because she’s sounding to much like gaga…But this performance should speak the difference in both singers…(I love ‘em both)! And yes, I am one of the many fans who will buy her CD! GO XTINA!!!!

The first time I heard Lady Gaga, I thought she sounded like a low class Xtina, even though I liked her voice (Gaga’s).
Tonight, with this performance, Xtina proved me right! That was ravishing!

THATS PERFORMANCE WAS COPYING GAGA. Jk wow. That was beautifal. Gaga could never belt that out with out madly failing. For those of you “little monsters” who think their voices aree the same. Gaga has an average 3 octave voice while xtine holds a 4 octave voice higher than average, plus shes number 58 on rolling stones top 100 best singers. Higher on that list then Pattie Label. I dont see gaga on that list. Once again Xtina, you’ve moved me to tears.
I actually cried when i listened to it. I don’t care how many albums she sells, she really is an artist, an vocalist, a diva. she’s got something unique that anybody else hasn’t got. She really puts her heart and soul into the song when she sings. You can tell from her look, she expresses the feelings on her face.
Wow, Xtina was just (& I hate this word) AMAZING. She was flawless however I wanna find the idiot who thought it was a good idea for those American Idol contestants (who weren’t really that good) to sing her #1 hit “Beautiful” and “Fighter” (nobody should sing those songs but her).
Either way Xtina was awesome. & her album is gonna be epic. I’ve listened 2 8 tracks & OMG I died went 2 heaven & came back 2 life.
