Tracy Morgan Covers 'GQ' August 2010

Tracy Morgan is looking devilish as one of GQ‘s three August 2010 cover stars (Zach Galifianakis and Paul Rudd are on the other two). Here are some select quotes from the three funnymen:

Paul on becoming a successful actor: “I’ve never considered myself to be too much of a comedian. I’ve never considered myself to be too much of anything. I just lucked out and got to work with some really funny people, and somehow have been able to parlay it into a lot of comedies.”

Zach on a love scene for a serious role: “I’ve had a scene where I’m supposed to kiss somebody, and I went for it with the actress. It was a movie called Visioneers, with Mia Maestro. Google her. She’s really nice. She was not going for it. I think a couple of takes I went in with my tongue already out of my mouth. It was like a plane coming in for a landing. And then it was as if someone had cemented her mouth shut.”

Zach on being built for comedy: “I used to be really cute. I could send you earlier photos where I’m stunning. But I’ve gained about twenty pounds over the past two years, and the more weight I’ve put on, the more success I’ve had. If you drew a diagram of weight gain and me getting more work, a mathematician would draw some conclusions from that.”

Tracy on how he would make Jay Leno‘s show funny: “A Russian bear on a bike. Riding around Christopher Cross as he sings ‘Sailing.’”
