Check out the first still of Katie Holmes in her new thriller, Don’t Be Afraid of the Dark, in theaters March 2011.
Synopsis: A young girl (Bailee Madison) sent to live with her father (Guy Pearce) and his new girlfriend (Holmes) discovers creatures in her new home who want to claim her as one of their own.
Katie shot Don’t Be Afraid of the Dark over a year ago in Australia. Can’t wait to finally see the film!

I can’t say I’m excited about the film, but I love Guy Pearce.

I was on another site where someone made a very good observation. Has anyone noticed that in the month or so before Suri’s stated birth, right up until the second week of April when Katie was shopping and shopping, there is not one photo of her touching/rubbing her belly? Not one!
I’ve been pregnant, and by that point, the baby is moving (A LOT), and a real part of you.
I looked at the pictures and can’t find one of Katie acknowledging that there is a child in her…at times she’s just sitting waiting for salespeople, and has both hands free, but never bothers at any point to touch her stomach.
I find that weird.
I think she was not really pregnant at that point.
Tom bought a sonogram machine, so I’m sure a decent looking fake belly was no challenge for a person in Hollywood.
