Nope. There was a time at the start, but I begin to think of the millions of ways she could hurt her baby or herself "and everyone of those were on the ground!"

I also read about the type she has, and yes, nothing is guarnteed, but her Cirrus is considered one of the safest (and most expensive) single engine planes, and one of the few that comes with a parachute that will carry it to the ground should it need to be activated.

BTW, I don't think Brad would hesitate to ask her to not do it if he felt uncomfortable, and I think she seems like someone who would respect that it's his child to and cease flying temporarily...all that of course is my opinion.

This is my first posting, I have been reading "justjared" site for several months and I really enjoy it, except for the very nasty and bitter people who seems to think that they know this couple intimately.

I urge all of you to listen to JA and BP interviews even before MAMS started shooting. Their marrige it seems to me was over way before AJ.

They were good friends, respected one another but it was not enough to last forever, there was something missing, such as common goals. it seems (why didn't Jen go with Brad to Africa?), it looks like JA is a very typical hollywood gal, her life revolves around how to look good ,get your hair highlighted, be with your hollywood girlfriends.... etc .What has she ever done to speak of other than try to enhance her
career and attend Hollywood events, compared to the punk teenager Jolie, (whom I identify with, cause I used to be one even though I could be her mother, we were called hippies back than), she has changed and grown up( and now I am a chemist, see people can and do change), she needs a break. Just look at what she accomplished with her UN work, she is acknowleged and admired for her work even in DC. I would like all of JA fanatics to tell me what good deed has she ever done, other than try and make her self "pretty",has she donated one third of her money (which is probably negligent compared AJ's). Jen is a sweet girl but shallow.

I am proposing to you all to not respond to Brangelina haters. There is nothing more infuriating than not getting the response or reaction you want from others you want to tick off.. Let these guys live their lives, hopefully happily ever after. I mean all of them inculding Jen and Vince.

My first marriage was to my best friend and lasted 5 years, thank god no kids (we are still friends). Then I met my husband and the father of my kids. We have been married for 22 years, we have two sons 21 and 19 both now in college and a daughter almost 15. I thank my lucky stars evey day that I took that step and got divorced because it was the right thing to do, we were not meant to be together forever and we realized that.

So, I think Jen is cute (definetly not beautiful), funny, I loved her on Friends, but we really need to let them alone to sort thru a difficult time for ALL of them. Let them sort things out , because I think all this crap that is being said is making it harder for All of them to go on with their new lives.

I've noticed recently that since last year the news media started cover more about africa, talking about its problems, hunger, refugees, etc. which were seldom got any attention in the past. I do think that this pair will break up, they may last a few years but they will break up. Personally, I wish they would give loudly and proudly. It may inspire their fans to act and not just sit on their butts. Any not for profit organization, and I work for ome, will tell you that celebrity endorsement is key. Attach a celebrities name to your cause and you get lots of free publicity, ie newspaper, magazines, tv, radio. Celebrity endorsements also encourage their fans to give money and to give their time. Sure, if you're a celebrity giving behind the scenes helps but giving while screaming from the rooftops helps a whole lot more.

One last comment on celebrities endorsements. I work for an a not for profit that has formal partnerships with two pro-sports teams. The players from these teams show up to fundraising events, do television spots, give tv and newspaper interviews on the rewards of supporting the organization, etc Without their very vocal support, my organization would not be half as large as it is now and would not be able to provide half the services that it does.

All right let me tell you about other celebrities that have followed Ms. Jolie's steps since she really got into the limelight:
1.Nicole Kidman has become a U.N. ambassador recently,she cited Angelina as her mentor.
2. Drew Barrymore just came back from touring some poverty striken areas in Africa(Jolie and Pitt, her mentor.
3. Lucy Liu just came back for Parkistan after visiting the earthquake victims (Jolie and Pitt first drew attention to it)
4. Jessica Simpson is going to Washington DC to push a program for poor kids with bad teeth. (Jolie is her mentor)
When Ms. Jolie does her own part, she also mostly wants to shine some light on the problems of the less priviledged people she's met along the way, so that other people who want to help can do so. With the amounts of celebrities that are following suit, I'll say mission accomplished! You can just sit back and grumble all you want. I do not have any more comment for those who refuse to understand.

He can sound off as he wishes but where does he get off in trashing Brad for leaving "beautiful" (yeah on a good airbrushed day) Jennifer when he left the gorgeous Diandra and his children for the golddigging Catherine Zeta-Jones (sorry, but I've never liked CZJ's persona) who could be his daughter.

It's so strange the timing of his comments when he came off from the Davos economic conference extolling the virtues of the celebrities including Peter Gabriel, Bono and Angelina Jolie shining the light on major world issues. Maybe Douglas felt slighted that Angelina stole his thunder at Davos, where Angelina commanded the spotlight and attention and was the belle of the ball, just as Saz noted. Elena, I think all the Viagra he's been using has stiffened his brain.

Access Hollywood put in a support by Sharon Stone of Angelina saying to the effect that Angie is a woman who knows who she is and walks the walk and not just talk the talk. I'm not a great fan of Sharon Stone but she is always reliable for speaking out for the sensible side of issues.

In addition to your fleshing out Angie's humanitarian skills, it must be pointed out that Angie keeps herself abreast of world and current affairs by reading the latest periodicals on serious issues. We saw her picking up the daily French newspaper in one of the pap pics. In a candid pic on the MAMS set, she was reading "Foreign Affairs" magazine. Not exactly the tabloids, which would be Jennifer's reading material of choice. Angie may not have a college degree, but that doesn't mean she doesn't have the intelligence to master new information and skills - as she has already done by becoming fluent in French.

You're right that Angelina learned to fly so she could fly supplies and food in refugee areas. Even though Angie may have a pilot's license, she needs to maintain her flight practices.

I remember the water-cooler article from either Time or Newsweek that spoke about how women can't have it all to point out the reality that to postpone a family for a career, many women are facing fertility problems. In a Charlie Rose roundtable discussion with ob-gyns and fertility doctors, they basically said that there's no such thing as waiting for the "perfect time" as circumstances always push that supposed "perfect time" further back.

Well, I doubt Angie or Brad gives a fuck about what any of us say as they are secure enough with themselves to live their lives to their goals and aspirations, even to the Michael Douglas' hypocritical comments. Our words aren't for Angie or Brad; it's for public discourse among our brethrens. This site is a meeting ground for BAMZ fans regardless of Jared's intent. By the mere fact that Jared updates his site with predominantly BAMZ pictures indicates this is pro-BAMZ website. Elena, I came to that conclusion several threads ago. There are really only 3 haters at most. One is Fed Up With BAMZ. Then, there is the one who is such a coward she rarely, if ever, posts under the same name the next day - when she's not morphing before our eyes within the same day. The last one is more lightweight.

I've come to the conclusion that the reason Angie has such a diverse fan base from around the world is her compassion isn't limited to any one region in the world. She has many Asian, Caribbean, African fans, as well as European and American ones, who aren't blinded by hate to be ultra-critical about everything Angie does. Nothing the haters can say can change that very fact!

Marie, I agree with you that most of us aren’t millionaires like Pitt and Jolie, but it kills me when people talk trash about Jolie, when they’re not even half the person that she is. What does impress me is to see someone like my Grandmother who lives on a fixed income give to the poor when you know she will go without because of it. The rich giving away a fraction of their millions is not impressive to me in the least.” You know, I am impressed with what your grandmother has done too only because my mom does the same exact thing. What doesn’t impress me is that you think that by donating a little bit of money and volunteering for 2 hours like once in a blue moon is more than what Jolie does. That shows what a great person she is and how hard working, dedicated, and kind she really is. Sure she may have slowed down a little within the past few weeks, but come on, it’s for the baby’s sake. Paparrazi and tabolids are the ones making all the money out of all these. Perhaps demands should be made of them to donate some of their ill gotten monies to some of the causes of Brad and Angelina. To further counter the arguments about Angie's humanitarian work, she would give up acting altogether to devote fulltime to her work as a Goodwill ambassador if not for the fact that her acting gigs provide a lot of money to her charities.

For all the bellyaching about how much the "little people" donate quietly in their private lives, the fact is the average donation for regular citizens is only 2% or 6% (I'll have to doublecheck the stat with Business Week), while wealthy citizens give only 1%. So Angie gives more proportionately than most people. But what's the point of the argument of being more charitable and better than the other? Bottom line, as long as human suffering is relieved or reduced even a little bit by one person's altruism by stepping out of his/her isolated world, it's all good.

The Angie haters always rehash that old O'Reilly (oh right, as if he is a paragon of virtue with his not accounting for his own actions) criticism about Angie not forwarding solutions, as Bono has. What the hell? Angie's focus of charity issues concern relieving the plight of refugees. Refugees are the byproduct of natural disasters or human conflicts. Is Angie supposed to be god now to intercept all natural disasters such as earthquakes, floods, tsunamis, wild fires, droughts, etc. - which would be the only act that would preven refugees? And human conflicts have been endemic to human culture since the emergence of humans on this planet. So, Angie is supposed to be the Jesus/Gandhi/Siddharta/Mohammed of modern times even when those religious leaders themselves couldn't prevent violence during their times?

The fact that she provides money to buy supplies, food, shelter and clothing does help. By drawing atention to those refugee problems, she is inspiring more people to donate their money and time. Make no mistake, we live in a global world where it does take a village to survive. Some of the best societies are the ones that lend a hand and support communally and not just individually.

The haters operate purely from irrational thinking and hating. And their arguments are beyond tiresome and tedious.

If it was the other way around and Jennifer wanted children and Brad kept putting her off don't you think she'd lose her love for him and also stop asking? I do think Michael D's comments were a bit strange coming from a sex addict. However, lets be fair to him, even we as BAMZs fans have privately wonder - will they last? we don't know but I hope so for the sakes of the children. yes, I don't know these people. But, when I'm invited to a wedding reception, when I walk pass a temple which is conducting a wedding ceremony or drive past a decorated bridal car someone getting married regardless of whether I know them or not, my prayers are always that the couple will remain happy and stay together and if they wish, raise a healthy family. It would be mean spirited to do otherwise.

I confess, I'm one of those hypocrites who live well and don't give till it hurts or till it deprives me of something. I have more then 10 pairs of shoes (though when I last counted, I have only 1 pair of feet) and I don't want to go into how many other things I have. My family and I plan to go on at least 5 overseas trips in the next 12 months.

But let me just say right this minute - everyone should give something to charity - be it time or money, be it small or large. You will feel good about yourself. No pain need be involved in the giving because EVERY LITTLE BIT HELPS.

Therefore to all you hypocrites out there (don't lie, I know each one of you have at least 3 pairs of shoes and why do you need so many - hmm!!!???), please, dig into your hypocritical hearts and give to your favourite charity. I have another point to make which is sort of off thread but was made in another thread. Some people pointed out how well Troy and Alexander did internationally. And one chappie pointed out that well, foreign people (like me) do not have as many choices as people in the US do so that's why those movies did well. I don't want to find the time looking for the thread but would just like to say that actually people who don't live in the US has as much choice, if not more choices in movies then the people who live in the US. (1) We get all the movies from the US that we want to see - unless it deals with a highly, highly sensitive subject like brokeback mountain. But to make up for the few that we don't get here in Asia, there is a thriving local movie industry. In the Indian subcontinent covering India, Bangladesh, Pakistan and other smaller countries, Bollywood is the most famous. In Asia, there's a healthy movie industry in Hong Kong (jackie chan, michelle yeoh, jet li and many, many others Americans know nothing about) which has since grown to other countries such as Japan, Korea, China, etc. Europe does not impose the same censorship retrictions and so gets everything they want to get from the US dubbed or undubbed into the local language but there is a thriving European/spanish movie industry. (2) Foreign people, such as myself have different tastes in movies. Troy did not do well in the US but did pretty well overseas because we like different things from our movies. Friends and Seinfeld were big in the US and people who speak english and can get their jokes. But it means nothing to a Japanese, chinese or thai. But a good action movie such as Troy did well. I read somewhere that Hollywood is starting to produce movies that will appeal in "foreign" countries. It is not a small matter if half the takings of a film comes from the international market.

Angelina's pregnant so she shouldn't fly, carry maddox, just rest. Makes me laugh. For centuries pregnant women all over the world, one child on the hip, heavy bucket of water on head, or carrying a heavy load of grain on their backs, and just getting on with rural life. if it was that easy to get lose a baby, my grandmother would not have had 13 children. (I now roll my eyes at the fake concerns).

I can't stand MD and he's just given me 1 more reason why..it was just downright shitty for him to refer the kids as orphans. There are many stars that have also adopted: Tom and Nicole, Calista, Meg Ryan, Diane Keaton and many others. It's an insult to the children that are adopted and the loving parents that adopted them. I would just like to say that it doesn't matter how much a person contributes but what matters is that she does. I remember a business ethics teacher once said that no matter what your share or part of a project or programe is you should try to be the best of what you are and see the bigger picture and be a visionary. Just like a man who was asked by a passersby what he was doing and he answered, "I'm building a cathedral." The man who asked murmured to himself, why did he say that when he's just bending metal bars. The thing is the guy who is just bending those bars saw far better than the guy who asked. He considers himself as part of that vision, part of a much grander scale. So if you can help, or just teach street children on mobile schools on your off days w/o donating money is already a big thing, or segregate your garbage, participate in tree planting activies w/ cause oriented groups, etc. because you are helping and not just be a passersby and not be part of a dream a vision of making this world better for us but also for the next generation.

Last Friday, Angelina Jolie took a break from filming her latest movie The Good Shepard (on location in the Dominican Republic) to visit Haiti in her capacity as a United Nations roving ambassador of goodwill.

In Haiti, where she was received like a visiting head of state, Jolie and her entourage (including movie star boyfriend Brad Pitt) visited a school funded by Haitian hip-hop star Wyclef Jean.

And there, amidst throngs of star-struck onlookers, she seemed genuinely moved by the children who danced and recited poetry in her honour.

Far more noteworthy, however, were her encouraging words to democratically-challenged Haitians to persevere in their efforts to form a viable government. And she really sealed her reputation as a diplomat of substance, despite her alluring style, when she entreated the international press corps with the following:

“You hear so much just about the danger and the fear and then you come here and you meet just an amazing people….Given just a little chance, and given a little help, this is going to be a great country."

Indeed! And with this short visit and those few words, Jolie probably did more to resuscitate the image of this beleaguered nation than any world leader or UN peacekeeping force could ever do.

It remains to be seen, however, whether her goodwill mission will inspire Haitians to shun factional violence for wholesome politics and the rule of law; so that their four-times delayed elections could finally be held on 7 February.

Hope springs eternal….

Of course, celebrities fronting charities as just another acting gig has become one of the more cynical trends in the customarily contrived and egocentric entertainment industry. But, like rock stars Bono and Bob Geldof, Jolie stands out as a refreshing exception.

In fact, Jolie has been a goodwill ambassador for the United Nations High Commission for Refugees (UNHCR) since 2001. She has visited UNHCR operations in many of the poorest and most emphatically unglamorous countries of the world (including starved, diseased and war-ravaged places in Africa).

Moreover, as an international celebrity, Jolie attracts unprecedented media attention everywhere she goes. And this has proved a salutary fringe benefit for the UNHCR.

Because, even though the poor and dispossessed people she greets are never the focus of media interest (as was the case in Haiti), at least their plight receives some heart-wrenching notice by falling within her reflected glow.

But Jolie has also distinguished herself from other celebrities by putting her money where her face is. After all, she has donated millions of dollars to UN relief agencies that are working to alleviate poverty all over the world.

And to top it all off, with all due respect to Mother Theresa, not since Audrey Hepburn has a bona fide do-gooder looked so good performing charity.

Nonetheless, it would be remiss of me not to comment on the Clinton factor that excites so much interest in Jolie’s public works:

Recently, Jolie revealed her intriguing notions about friendship - where sharing between friends include favors most men only dream about (a.k.a. friends with benefits). Evidently, she does not require monogamy or any emotional commitment to enjoy intimate contact with her male (and female) friends.

Moreover, she seems to live by the categorical imperative that permits consenting adults to behave as they please behind closed doors

And, her notions about nuclear families are no less provocative. Indeed, Jolie has been ridiculed for what cynics describe as her quixotic plan to mother a United Nations of children. And, she became fodder for the tabloids in this regard after she adopted one Vietnamese and one African child.

(Incidentally, Jolie is now famously pregnant with Pitt’s child, so that should cover the American representation amongst the kids in the Jolie-Pitt UN-inspired home.)

Jolie’s is an unconventional approach to building a family, to say the least. But I find her maternal instincts endearing. And, it’s not as if she lacks the means to support her children and give them all the opportunities in life that any child could ever hope for.

Unfortunately, like former U.S. President Bill Clinton, Jolie risks undermining much of her public service by living such a promiscuous and notorious private life.

But I harbour no compunction about praising Jolie for her public works regardless of her personal life (which is hers to live as she pleases; provided it’s legal and does not inflict undue harm on others – notwithstanding Jennifer Anniston’s broken heart).

Besides, it is patently clear that the way she conducts her private life has had no adverse impact on her commendable public service.

Therefore, here’s to Jolie whose family values of charity, diversity and universal love the world would do well to not only appreciate but also emulate!

I will try to explain what I think the JA fans are angry about: First of all, whether you liked it or not, Friends was a very big hit for 10 years. A lot of people fell in love with JA because she had great comic timing and was adorable as Rachel (my opinion, people!) Then she meets Mr. Movie-Star-Brad, who is delish to look at, but okay as an actor (my opinion, again). They fall in love and they seem like the Hollywood Golden Couple. Her fans, as well as his, are fascinated by them, very much like you are now fascinated by BP & AJ. Six or seven months before they broke up, he was on Oprah (promoting Troy) and saying how happy he was and how wonderful she was, blah, blah, blah. He then went away to Europe to make O-12, while she was busy making her films here. Soon after O-12 was done, he was off to make M&MS. For a lot of Hollywood couples, spending so much time apart is a big reason marriages fail… they grow apart. Supposedly, during this time, he admitted to her that he was feeling an attraction to AJ. They are still married. They get together one last time (can’t remember the place) and BOOM, they announce they are divorcing. He basically goes from her to AJ, although he did get his own place in Malibu. To a lot of people, it “looks” as if Ms. Jolie has caused this. They need someone to blame.
As far as children go, and this seems to be a really big issue here, when Friends was wrapping up, I can’t count how many times I either saw JA on TV or read in a mag that she couldn’t wait to start a family. She WANTED children as she still does, but it is kind of hard to get pregnant when you are both working on opposite sides of the world for huge amounts of time. A lot of you keep saying she put her career in front of having children and lost BP because of it. First of all, why was SHE expected to give up her career? Do you think Brad was going to quit acting if he became a father? Was she supposed to quit working and chase Brad all over the world while he worked? I think that kind of logic does a lot of harm to women. That’s not what choice is about.
Anyway, I digress…. I think to the fans of BP & JA, they felt lied to and betrayed by BRAD. As far as the W mag layout, I knew I was going to hear the “artistic expression” b.s. Here’s what I think: Brad came up with the idea and I hope it was to help in promoting M&MS because it was around that time that it was coming out. However! The TIMING of it couldn’t have sucked more! Out of plain human consideration and respect for Jennifer, he should have either scrapped the whole thing or at least, delayed it if possible. For a lot of her fans, that layout was the icing on the cake. Talk about sticking the knife in and twisting it!
Brad’s family loved Jennifer and welcomed her into their family. She still goes out to lunch with his mother! And yes, they were angry for the way he “handled it”. They have since met AJ and like her.
Someone said they were together for 7 “barren” years. It was 5, and they weren’t trying for that whole time! It was towards the end that they even started talking about it.
As far as Jen feeling sorry for herself, whining, crying poor-me, I just don’t see it! In fact, she has been the exact opposite in my eyes. It is the press that keeps bringing it up, and she absolutely hates it! Why is that so hard to get? She is with Vince now. Doesn’t that seem like she has moved on or at least tried?
As I have said before, if Jennifer and Brad’s relationship was as good as they wanted everyone to believe it was I don’t think anyone could have come between them, including Angelina. Obviously, there were other issues and we can only speculate what those were. These are people, not demi-gods or saints. They have faults and peculiarities just like everybody else. I think some people put them up on way too high a pedestal.
Anyway, I don’t expect to change anyone’s views here, but to give an opposing view or opinion. Just because my views are different from yours, doesn’t make them WRONG and vice versa!

I had a friend, a neurosurgeon, who used to taking me flying in a plane like this one. He pointed out that he would never take his entire family on a flight nor would both parents ever be on a flight together. While it was fun to fly he said there were too many things that could go wrong and he mentioned something about stall speed. The point was that if the plane crashed the entire family would be wiped out. And if both parents were on the flight the kids would be left orphaned. Irrespective of the pregnancy, I think this couple is being irresponsible. My apologies if something similar has been said before, but I do not have the time to read through nearly 300 entries.

I guess what I was trying to point is DESPERATION. With my brother, he tried to live or pretend to live a normal life for so long, that he got to a point, a desperate point that made him chuck "common sense". This was a 35 yrs old man who "ran" away from home like a 5 yrs old. What else could that be? I know he was desperate but no matter how hard I try, I can not feel his desperation. We have know idea what went on in that marriage, how long had Brad been pretending to "live a normal life"? No matter how it is handled, divorce is still a sad thing. It is like saying "I'd prefer to die in a plane crash instead of a car crash" at the end of the day, it is still death and there would be mourners. I hate to be morbid here.

Some family members have told my brother that "if you were miserable for two years, why didn't you leave then?" and others have said to him "leaving that abruptly like that was not the best way to handle the situation". Okay I am going to go all folky here by telling you a story here - An old man and his son embarked on a journey with their horse. The son rode on the donkey, while the old man walked along side. On the way, they met another who looked at them in shock "fools" he exclaimed "what sense does it make that the young man rides on the horse and the fragile old man walk along side". Hearing this, the boy got off the horse and helped his father on the worse. They continued and they met another man who said "Now I have seen everything. How can the father ride on the horse and his young son walk along side. What are parents becoming these days?" . So now the father looks at his son and helps the boy on the horse. They both are now riding the horse, again they met a passer by, who see both men on the horse "what cruelty" he said in disgust "look at both men on the poor horse". The men get off the horse and both walk along side the horse. Another man comes by and sees them "Goodness, what are you two doing? Isn't the horse meant for labor? How can you walk while the horse is left doing nothig?". At this point, the man and his son stop in the middle of the road, at a loss on how to continue there journey. Legend has it that they are still there waiting for a workable solution to their dilemma, a solution everyone would be pleased with.

That was long I know but do you get the point of it? No matter what you do, how you do and when you do, you can't please everyone. So you have two choices: remain rooted in on one spot because you are trying to please everyone or Do what you have to do and move on.

That being said. You are right about a woman's right to decide when to have a baby. But I do not think that Brad would have married her if there had not been the expectation of children soon after. When men hit the age of mid thirties, they start wanting the home, wife, children. Jen mentioned looking forward to babies before they got married so if anyone committed fraud it was Jennifer. In business , fraud renders the contract void. In a marriage? There was a lack of communication apparently on this issue and this is one of those non-negotiable issues in a marriage.

How fortunate they both are to have one or both realize that they were so on different pages as well as books . To do it wih no children to suffer . I agree it would have been a mistake for Jennifer to have a baby just to please Brad. It would have repeated the same emotional history that Jen has with her mother.

I married a man who apparently did not want kids. He loved me so he gave me lip service when I mentioned wanting a big family. I was a clueless until I was in a conversation with his family and they mentioned being surprised that we had kids as he had always said he did not want any. To make a long story short. I wish I had not assumed and not be so blinded by lust/love. I wish someone had explained to me how getting a husband is not as important as who will be a father for your children. Or the opposite for men.

A woman can make a mistake with a husband and is able to divorce and find someone who is the right person for her. But a father is another thing. That is part of makes me appreciate Brad's parenting skills and love for those children so much. There are too many men in this country who emotionally and/or finacially abandon their own children let alone love their lover's children as their own. Having children is like watching your heart walk outside your body. Nothing makes a woman love a man as watching a man take loving care and of her heart/children

I have learned that I can put 150% into being the best mother in the world. The extra 50 % does not make up for what a child's need for a father or father figure in their life.

If you think it is easy to find another father for your children talk to some of the single mothers out there. There is a reason why the new poor in this coutry is made up of single mothers and children.

Some people make better parents then others. Some are great uncles/aunts but lousy parents. Angie divorced Billy Bob because he did not want a child/specially and adopted child. She did not want Maddox to grow up in an enviornment where Mad would feel resented by one parent so chose to make Mad a child who only felt love from a single parent. It is so easy to fall in love with a child. Specially one as adorable as Mad. I think Brad fell in love with Mad before he fell in love with the mother.

For those that refuse to believe that Angelina has changed. I do not know about others, but my children transformed me and healed me. You want for children what you missed in your life and you want to be someone they will respect.

When Brad was promoting Troy, they had already shot most part of MAMS. That shoot started January, and then he had to leave to go promote Troy and shoot O12. Following that logic, he met Angelina 2 years before his marriage folded. He said nice things about Jennifer even after the divorce papers were filed, that tells me he was a gentleman to the end.
I don't idolize Brad and Angie, and I am most certainly not interested in them because of their good looks (though that doesn't hurt). I became interested in Angie when I saw how much she was able to transform her life from cutting herself and other destructive behaviours to the woman she is today. She has evolved so much that any body that can be objective cannot but admire that. She seems to have found peace after she stepped out of herslf to be of service to others. She has done it without being preachy, but has always said people needed to read, research and find out for themselves.

All the people that now think Brad is a cad, how come for 7 years he was married to JA, they never saw anything wrong with him. Frankly, if Brad and Angie had met 5 years ago they would not have had much in common. So everything in good time works itself out. Never cared about Jennifer before or during her marriage to Brad, and I still don't. Whether Brad and Angelina will last only time will tell. I would not be broken up if it falls apart, but I will feel sad that like millions of other families they could not make it. But I will not be so bitter and spiteful to any of them because it is not my life.

I agree and admire everything intelligent said about AJ, and this include all well-reasoned compliments made about her.

I, too, would agree that BP doesn't seem to have a character of his own. He just adopts the personality of the woman he's with. Though I compliment him for having been following AJ's example in doing something valuable with the money he's made from being a celebrity. I think he's a good person, not greedy and self-absorbed like MD.

I agree that MD is insecure and jealous and that his young wife should be ashamed of his public remarks about Jolie's children and BP's relationship with them.

I come to Jareds to look at the pictures of BAMZ+1 and post once in a while. So here's my 2 cents.
To Team Aniston - first of all this section is really for Team Jolie. From my observation, Team Aniston rile up the J&P fans (and sometimes right of the bat when new pictures come in), either out of envy or anger, or personification of some sort, which causes the J&P fans to counter-attack. However, Team Aniston, you guys do repeat yourselves over and over, and even when you don’t know these celebrities personally, you’ve got it in your noggins that you are right and J&P are wrong. And even if it’s obvious that J&P wants to be together, avoiding Hollywood, you’ll find something wrong with their relationship no matter what. You can’t expect them to go into hiding and not live their lives the way they see fit. And if they did, am sure you’ll come up with excuses that is wrong too. Just like post# 360 -because they just want to stay away from the crowd, they are now labeled guilty and liars. It’s not right to judge people. We each have been given our free choice from the Man upstairs. As for Aniston, that was her choice. If she really wanted to keep Brad, why the hell did SHE divorce him. She could have fought for him, but apparently she had her own agenda, but it must have backfired. I truly believe that Aniston’s obsession or hurt feelings with Brad and Angie is MORE HURT EGO, HURT PRIDE. Am sure anyone here who have taken psychology courses, learns that it’s normal for humans to question their personal value/self- esteem when they are replace for someone else. NO MATTER that the person they were attached to is totally wrong for them, they will feel angry and upset anyway. Been there, done that, and am confident I am not alone. Jen’s issues are compounded that she lives a public life/career. However, they way she has handled herself has hurt her even more, and repulse people. She should have held her head up high and shut her yap, the way Nicole Kidman handled her divorce with weird Tom Cruise. And HE was even the one who filed for divorce. Jen’s divorcing Brad, bad mouthing him and the self-pity thing only makes her appear wishy-washy and immature. I could go on and on, but just as I notice how many posts are here, and the debate will never be won. We are all opinionated in how these stars should behave. BUT I do wish J&P stay committed to this relationship, because there are children involve, but more to prove nay-sayers wrong. :)

#326 Elena - Thanks for sharing that with us. You're right of course, a child can always sense when he or she is resented by either parent, and its not fair on the child. You're a wonderful mom and your kids are so lucky to have you.

Now to the meatier stuff. :) All this talk about Angie being a slut, etc. Puh-lease. She's an attractive women who's had her share of sexual relationships or flings. Is that so bad? I'm 26 and have had more bed-partners than my age and I don't see myself as a slut. When I'm single, I enjoy my single life, when I'm in a relationship, I'm very committed. I'm sure many women around the world do things the same way. I'm pretty sure Angie would too.

Criticism of her adopting so internationally only came to a head when she started dating Brad, no one seemed overly interested when she first adopted Maddox. Likewise, her humanitarian efforts were not so widely publicised before Brad. Ergo, her goodwill work isn't something she's doing to look good. She's doing it because she loves it.

Things she did when she was younger...so what? A lot of people make mistakes but they grow up and learn. It seems there are some of you who still go on and on about her having done drugs before. How come no one brings up say Drew Barrymore's past? She was into heavy drugs by the time she was 12 but is well over that now. How come no one accuses her of being a druggie? I'm sure most people have at least tried weed so who are you to talk? And if you so much as even smoke or drink, you give up the right to criticise. I'm not religious but even I know that Christ said that only a person who has never committed any sin may cast the first stone at Mary Magdalene.

And what can I say? A very comfortable relationship with her brother? Its good to see some siblings get along.

I think Brad and Jen's failed marriage is between them. But whatever the reason, they broke up. Brad has moved on and I think to a large extent, so has Jen. Sure its sad that things didn't work out but they are not subject to the different rules of life as we mere 'peasants'.

Many people have tried to blame Angie for the broken marriage but I agree with the people who have said you can't make a man leave, he does that on his own. There have been so many movies (as well as in real life) where a man has an affair but will never leave his wife for his mistress. Brad CHOSE to end his marriage. I think that speaks volumes.

That was very deep and thanks for appreciating Elena. Most people think this is all about "idolizing Brad & Angie" but imo, it goes beyond that. We have created a forum where people like you and Elena can share their life experiences with everyone.

Brad and Angie are the jumping off point that we use to delve deeper into what troubles us. And yes, it is in the Bible that he is without sin should cast the first stone. If that command was given today, do u think anyone would cast any stone? Yet people take it upon themselves to be prosecutor, judge and jury rolled in one.

The reoccuring theme for condemning these people are things they have done in the past. They hold on to that so fiercely that there is no reasoning with them. I am also glad that you noticed JS's post, she had an opposing view and she state quite nicely. To be honest, I haven't felt the need to know my "stuff" before rebutting an arguement until I read JS post. At the end of the day, we still stand at opposite ends of the pole but that doesn't mean we are enemies.

Some people have said "you have no life or you are stupid or you have no clue..." And inane things like that, read Ange's post or Lou, Be sane, AddictedtoBamz+1, Rica, 4Bamz, jjoy, New comer Juno (welcome by the way. I am so sorry, I know I am missing a lot of people). Do these people sound like they are stupid or have no life? Everyone that posts on this board, come from very different walks of life and I'd like to believe that there is more to it than "fans of Brad and Angie".

Outer beauty is purely genetic….it completely sickens me that anyone would elude to B&A as American Royalty. I admit, Angelina has done some good deeds, however, she’s also left a long string of people in pain over her inflated ego, and need to have the unattainable – enlist another convert to the Church of Angie. What can I say about Jen2x? I've said it before and I guess until she stops milking the bitter ex-wife angle, I'll say it again. 1) testing the waters if the public would respond to the sympathy angle by leaking to the NY Post about the Leslie Bennetts orchestrated pity fest and villifying BA (even to the point of being vitriolic to Angie's UN works and towards the adoption issue). Her VF cover was suppose to come out IIRC November but they have to bumped it up 'cuz she can't talk anymore after the divorce is final - confidentiality agreement anyone? So they denied, denied about the Post leak but lo and behold it turned out to be true.... Well, Huvane & co were jumping w/ glee 'cuz that work for a while....but its hard to keep that momentum going when the other party is just not playing but living their lives and the public begin to see the holes...
2) Then came Oprah.....the turn the page thing...she's moved on but anyone who have eyes can see she far from over it. Not even the sunsets can give immediate cure. Its all about being stronger but they forgot to que in Oprah not to talk about the all girls-slumber-pajama party....it just makes her appear pathetic..
3) then there was that Elle interview. She said she didn't talk because she was not allowed to talk people....she's a sharer....a talker....(yeah she's all talk)... it alluded to Vincey and again it talks about moving on but if you read it article there is a "pity me" subliminal message. I have to read the article again but I think this is where she talks about having a baby in 5 yrs time or was it Oprah? But see....how she doesn't keep up w/ her lies....nowadays, she wants to have babies next year....how is she going to defy age w/ her chain smoking is beyond me...
4) as if all that talk isn't enough, her PR team came up w/ the man of the year, thanks-for-the-laughs GQ spin....I don't know whether Huvane is just not trying or just plainly underestimates the public's understanding and how much we can take whining and being played for the sympathy bandwagon..it wasn't long after younger brother Chris became the West coast editor (correct me if I'm wrong on this one 'cuz I'm not sure what's his title) she became GQ's man of the year and along is her loyal dog sorry man w/ 50 cents....when a lot of people thought Dana Reeves deserves it more....

To JS, I'd like to address some aspects of your post.

You mentioned that Jennifer has stated she wants children. But go to the interviews she actually did in 2003, before Brad ever met Angelina and you'll see that she kept putting it off - the next project after Friends. Then when Friends finished in early 2004, she had signed up for 3 movies to be shot in 2004. Perhaps she wanted to start a family then, despite the movies and I'm certainly happy to give her the benefit of the doubt. It then makes if very sad for her because by the time she was ready, Brad no longer was interested.

Now, on the reverse, there is no evidence that Brad and Angelina actually were physically intimate before the separation in January 05 and possibily even till the divorce papers were filed in March 05. Even Jen and her best friend courtney said no cheating. Attraction between Brad and Angelina before separation? yes. But in our society, we condemn people not for dreaming of murdering but for actually taking the action and murdering someone. We are also innocent till proven guilty. There is absolutely no proof of adultery when the marriage vows between Brad and Jennifer will in full force. After the separation, I'd say marriage vows are suspended and certainly, once the divorce was filed. Those who say, there's not smoke without fire - well, I can say the same about Jennifers declaration about wanting children but not having any for 4.5 years into the marriage.

So, why can't you see that Brad and Jennifer simply grew apart and there were insufficient reasons to keep the relationship together. I do believe that human beings are not by nature monogamous. Throughout the centuries, men have fooled around and there were obviously women to fool around with. I do believe for a man and woman to work at staying together in a monogamous relationship, there has to be some compelling reasons. For most couples, the reasons include (1) children (2) family and societal expectations (3) financial necessity (4) deep and mutual love for each other. Even if you have reasons (1) to (3), it may not be sufficient to keep a couple together these days if reason (4) if completely absent. But if you do have reasons (1) to (3), you would probably try harder (as my school teacher would say to me when I slacked off). And by trying harder, a relationship may be salvaged or rejuvenated but not always. Otherwise, why would 50% of marriages fail in the 1st world countries?

Neither Brad nor Jennifer had reasons (1) to (3) to compel them to keep working at their relationships. And despite all the projections of their fans, perhaps they did not have reason (4) either. Neither Brad nor Jen are obliged to stay together to satisfy their fans. They have real human beings. I would go as far as to say, neither Brad nor Jen had any reason to stay together if reason (4) had disappeared because no children were involved. Some of us here have been in relationships where after a period of time, things just didn't work out. The other party may still be keen to try but we were not. I have been on both ends of these terminations - ie been both terminator and terminatee. But with no children involved, its better for both of us to move on if one of us feels the relationship is not right.

I don't know if Brad and Angelina will last. They have at least one compelling reason to try harder - reason (1) children. And I hope for the sakes of their children they will try harder when things get tough.

For these reasons: Obviously they have commonality or common grounds which is a very important ingredient to make a relationship work. They both love children and truly being a family. They apparently love adventure of the dare devil kind, and seem to find more interest in productive work, such as being of service to others and the arts versus, partying around in hollywood. So kudos to them. and wishing the both well. :)

Yesterday when I posted a response to Mickey D's comments, I dismissed it as the rantings of an old kook losing his status among the Hollywood elite. So, I wasn't offended beyond seeing him for the flaming hypocrite that he is. But as the night drew late, I became more pissed off he would bring innocent children into the ring. Say what you will about television, but one thing for certain, it's an industry that is child-friendly that does not carry over to the real world. And TV sitcoms are about the easiest, regular acting gigs around.

Jennifer does have the right to choose when to bear a child BUT Brad also has the innate right in their marital vows to leave the marriage and find a similar-minded partner when their marital goals don't jibe. No husband, or for that matter, no wife ought to relinquish those important goals just because her partner breached the contract.

Angelina just happened to be there to help pick up the pieces. First RXY, I am sorry I know you don't want people to know why you are this hateful and full of bitterness but as your friend and Biographer, I believe that once the know the events that have taken place in your life, they'll understand you better. So here goes....

In a city very much like the ones you and I are, lived a young girl, a girl who some would so was not the prettiest girl and others would say she was by far the ugliest girl they had ever seen. Despite their disagreements on her looks, everyone agreed that she was the most ambitous girl in town For you see, she had dreams of marrying a very rich man who would have enough money to afford all the numerous plastic surgeries she would need to make herself pretty. Alas! our maiden face a huge obstacle, how does one as ugly as she is attract a very rich and handsome man. She pondered on this problem daily, then one day, while watching her alcoholic father fall of his chair, it came to her. Eureka! she exclaimed, Of course I shall get him drunk, she thought as she looked in the mirror, her reflection staring back at her... Really, really drunk. she added.

And so she planned and plotted, she plotted and planned until she got everything all set. It would be perfect you see, it just so happened that the richest man in town was throwing a birthday Bash for his handsome son. He was not sparing any expense and when his son jokingly said in wanted an ogre as entertainment, his father sent the word out. OGRE WANTED FOR RICH MAN SON'S BIRTHDAY. Ads were put on the TV, Radio and Newspaper. It was one of the newspaper ads our Maiden saw and convinced herself that this was fate. With tears of joy streaming down her face, she knew now how she would get close to the Rich son.

On the day of the party, she got her self ready, she needed to be the best ogre there was....of course she didn't have to do much. She snuck some of her father's wine and started for the mansion. As she approached, her heart thudded but she knew this was it, if she wanted to be beautiful, she couldn't loose her nerves. When she approached the gates, she heard grumblings from people who had been turned away. She felt her nerves failing her but she continued anyway. At the gates, she stopped and knocked. The guard peeked yelled from the other side of the gate "who is there?" he repeated his question but getting no answer he peeked. The girl saw the guard but she could not find her voice. All she could say was "I...I..." but she needn't have bother because one look at her and the guard flung open the gates "OGRE" he shouted. Come in, come in. He is waiting for you.

The girl could hardly believe her luck. Like royalty, she was led to into the mansion. As she walked down the hallway, she knew she had arrived home. Even the shrieks of the petrified party guests did not faze her. Finally, she was face to face with the rich young man. Gentleman that he was, he hid his digust quiet well. He could not believe his father had taken his joke seriously. Feeling vey guilty, he decided to be nice to her throughtout the night. This gave her a chance to get him drunk....really, really drunk. She led him to a bedroom and had her way with him. Yes! Yes! she thought now I am going to be beautiful.

The next morning the poor young man woke up with a pounding headache, as he shifted in his bed trying to recall what happened the night before, he came face to face with the horro of all horror. With the the morning light behind her, he saw just how ugly she really was. He jumped off the bed and ran screaming. His father and the guards came quickly but our boy could hardly say a word, he just pointed. When they saw what had caused the stir, the understood. Without hesitation, the grabbed hold of the maiden and threw her out of the mansion.

She would never see the young man again, his dad sent him out of the country to go recover. Nine months later, she gave birth to a baby, a bay she names RXY, who was more ugly than it's mother. Full of bitterness and hate, she taught her son to hate people who had money and beauty. She was such a good teacher that the first time RXY saw a rose, RXY pounded, kicked and burnt it down as She/he cried "Must destroy all pretty things" he chanted this over and over again as his mother looked on with satisfaction. HOLLYWOOD stars Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are due to marry this morning in a ceremony on Lake Como, the Italian press reported yesterday.

The pair have been at the centre of matrimonial rumours for several months and are said to have set their hearts on a service aboard a boat on the lake.

The couple's parents are not due to attend, but the guests are expected to include the actor George Clooney.

He has a villa nearby, at Laglio, and the couple are expected to stay there ahead of the service, which will be followed by a reception at the nearby luxury five-star Villa D'Este hotel.

Yesterday, builders were working on Clooney's home - called Villa Oleandra - where they were raising the walls around the estate.

According to Italian news reports, the ceremony will take place on Lake Como, which has a spectacular backdrop of snow-capped mountains and hills.

The venue was chosen to hamper the hundreds of paparazzi photographers who are predicted to flood into the area for the event.

Extra police have also been drafted in to control the crowds of sightseers who are expected to gather at the water's edge to catch a glimpse of the couple.

One report said the wedding would take place on one of the traditional Lake Como boats, called a Lucia.

Simona Saladini, the town's mayor, said she had recently taken delivery of a new Lucia and admitted that, although she had not been contacted, she could carry out a service if asked.

"The whole town is awash with rumours that they are supposed to be getting married here and it would be great if they did," she said.

Jolie and Pitt are expecting their first child.

I think it is fascinating that not one single solitary word has been spoken by Michael or Catherine Zeta Jones since his comments were broadcast. Nothing apologetic, nothing explanatory. I expected them to immediately spin it and lessen the damage by claiming he was quoted out of context, etc. The person I would LOVE to hear from, however, is the FIRST Mrs. Douglas, whom he left and divorced for CZJ!! One of my degrees is a Masters in Counselling and Mental health and I do find what is referred to as the "hateful" postings very interesting and I'm always learning from them as well as the BAMZ+ supporters responses. There is nothing more curious than human behavior.

Keep up the good thoughts for everyone in the 'triangle' "girls" (an affectionate not derogatory reference to the I-Temp Team in Mr&Mrs Smith) and just remember there will always be those who provoke and instigate just for the purpose of enraging those with opposing points of view. So you are an "apple" trying to direct your facts to an "orange"...can't be done. You will undoubtedly register with those who were truly unaware and who probably are really not true "haters". Today was running over with short, schoolyard taunts, while only 24 hours ago the "endless rant" overpowered everyone else. I probably would never have returned if a day like today had been my first experience. Now, after only a few weeks, I find I take it beyond the computer, and I pay more and more attention to strangers I encounter randomly in good and bad situations. Yeah, I've come to heads with a lot of ignorant people on the net where even the simplest logic and common sense are taboo to them. Each time I thoughtI couldn't come across anybody more poorly informed, non-thinkers, I'm constantly proven wrong. I've come to the conclusion that these ignornant folks are too deluded of the extent of their lack of intelligence (perhaps a coping mechanism or survival tactic) to accept anything that clashes with their model of reality.

For the haters, they want so much for their hate to rule or control (despite their being the minority), as you've assessed, that they will do everything they can possibly do to destroy reality with their desperate weapons (as with terrorists with pipe bombs).

To me, it's more a sad reflection on the haters than anybody else or this forum. For that, I hope you, African Girl and the other BAMZ supporters remain resolute in our convictions and support of BAMZ despite any of the sabotage exacted by the haters.

If there needs to be a new sheriff in town to keep them in check, I just might have to convince Jared more to deputize me. lol
