CONGRATULATIONS CHLOE!

So unbelievably dissapointing that Chloe won.

she had some beautiful dresses, but not much range. they were well made though...

aw I havent seen the fianle yet here in westco. Im glad she won...nevertheless all 3 of them were fabulous.

i'm not surprised! i was thinking daniel all the way until i saw the last runway show. i was thinking i'd wear most of chloe's line, and even santino's. daniel's didn't translate onto the telly at all (and the bags were especially hideous for some reason!). anywho happy for chloe - she deserves it.

Chloe is good, but her stuff did not really look very original . Most looked like things other designers have done.

I am not very familiar with this show so I am not sure what the objective was, to design for mainstream or the runway?

i can't believe that chloe won. santino was the obvious winner in the show. he had the nicest stuff, including that last dress and i just love the poncho and the tones and detailing he used. chloe would have been my last pick to win. argh! v disappointing.

I am dissapointed too. Santino was the obvious fashion forward designer. he should have won. But I like Chloe. She was nice. her clothes are wearable but no fashionable.

I am very happy for Chloe! I liked Santino's too.

So happy for Chloe. I like that she has a style consistency to her collection . Santino is good too but it difficult to identify a specific style to his collection.

I wanted Daniel to win but I'm happy Micheal Kors offered him a job. I like some of Santino dresses in the runway but they all looked too high waisted on the models. now Chloe her dresses remind me of Molly Ringwald in Pretty in Pink very prom 80's. but she does have the professional attitude to sell dresses. so I'm glad a woman won and she looked damn good in that kewl car.

I am sooooo happy Chloe won. She has the best collection, and her style is consistently astonishing.

I'm so happy Cloe won!!!She was my choice from the beginning. I was extremely dissapointed with Daniel's collection. He was my second choice. Santino did surprise me, but it just wasn't what he was known for from the judges. Chloe Rocks!!

couldn't you have waited until AFTER the finale aired on the west coast before posting this??? a huge surprise was spoiled for me... :(

everyone thinks they're a critic... no matter how much you think you know, the judges know better. look who chose her? THE supermodel of our time, one of the #1 american fashion designers, the fashion editor of one of the premier magazines in the country, & an extremely stylish actress. they know their stuff. they know best how the industry works, & they chose the best person, whether you liked their choice or not. plus, it's hard to tell on tv. there are things that they saw that we didn't.

Anyway, I've only seen snippets of Project Runway, but I'm glad to see a Vietnamese person nabbing some kinda attention.

I'm so glad that chloe won!!! I liked her from day one. I thought Santino was going to win because he had a better collection that tied everything togather, i thought... but he was on the safe side. haha. And Daniel, ugh, all his clothes look already "Banana Republic" ready... Chloe won, i'm happy!

So pissed that Santino didn't win. He collection was beautiful. I think they picked Chole because they know they can control her. She has talent no doubt, but she shouldn't have won last night. Santino ROCKS!

Hey Jared--I think the photo is her seven sisters AND her mom (in the purple)...Chloe isn't in that photo.

So glad Chloe won...although I did think Santino redeemed himself only to be told he was playing it safe by Nina in the end? WTF?

santino was robbed. chloe's outfits all looked the same and her fabric looked like curtains.

Chloe is the American dream. She lived in a refugee camp with her 7 sisters (all born within a 10 year span!) and parents, until they were able to gain entry into the U.S. She worked hard to overcome so many obstacles in life. As far as being "all business" and "not fashionable", I don't agree. She has a flare for fashion, and her business mind-set will get her very far in the business. You can't only be a designer if you want to sell your clothes; you have to have business savvy. I loved the final 3 designers! I am so impressed by this type of art, and their ability to create (and sew!) BRAVI! I loved all three. They are all three winners in my book.

It was a tough call!

Daniel’s was great. Very 1920 England (rather than Military/Japanese). His collection was hip and sophisticated.

BUT Chloe’s collection was brilliant. All of them were on point. If you look at them carefully, less is more. Like the judges said the lines are placed where accentuates a woman’s figure without showing too much. Yes, I agree. She needs to stop talking about that business aspect crap on camera.

Did you see Kara’s collection? Not bad at all.

I actually wasn't impressed with any of the final 3, and then I saw Kara Janx's runway show on the project runway site, and she really kicked it. Her clothes were edgy, colorful & modern. It's too bad she couldn't made those clothes during the competition.

JARED- I love the blog, but I am really mad you totally ruined the surprise for me last night. You need a spoiler alert (a la Trent)!

Congrats Chloe! I knew you would WIN! I love her collection, wonderfully crafted and wearable and very Beautiful! Congrats! Yay to my fellow Laotian Sister!

yay chloe :) i was pulling for daniel V but that's ok! I hope he goes to Michael Kors cause he's my favorite designer. :)

Chloe and Danile were both better suited to be mentees at Banana Republic. Santino is very forward, and has talent, but does anyone else notice how he's not as skilled at sewing? A lot of his dresses have handkerchief hems. But I wanted either Chloe or D.V. and I know they will both be successful. I also like how you actually win real things on this show as opposed to the fake top model grand prize.

congrats to chloe. i was rooting for danial but in the end i thought chloe's clothes were stunning. the best is when you hear tim gunn's podcast and he says how he didn't want santino to win because it would turn the show into "Project Freak Show" HA! santino was easily the most affected puff-filled participant on the show. he couldn't even stick to his so-called vision in the end. danial - go work for micheal kors!!!

Fashion is subjective, and the "judges" made a choice, but it was so wrong. Chloe bordered on tacky with her collection, Santino was way more elegant, but another poster is right; they can't control him.

Santino's outfits were West Hollywood, where he lives. You can buy that kind of stuff on Melrose Avenue, where he could window shop for ideas (and probably did). Watch the reruns, Cloe consistenly did very nice creations while Santino was in the bottom two more than anyone. I thought throughout the show that Santino can be a big star in the costume design business, for movies, New York plays, Elton John types, etc. This is the talent everyone saw but didn't know what to do with, he'd be excellent in that field.

CLOE is AWESOME! All of her designs were classic and elegant yet still brilliantly creative and modern. Her talent is light years above that of her competitors. She knows exactly who she is as a designer and who her audience is. Consistency is key. Santino and Daniel V. were a little schizo although I loved their designs as well. They both just need a little more polish and experience. I'll bet they all become well-known designers. Congratulations Cloe! See you at Lot 8!

Chloe shouldn't have won. Her heart wasn't in it like a true artist. At one point she even said she didn't know if she wanted it. Not really artistic.

@Ron. Since you want to be technical, Chloe's parents were both Vietnamese refugees. Thus making her fully...Ta ta ta da! Vietnamese. Not Laos even if she left from Laos last.

am glad Cloe won! Santino wont have not done good with a mentorship with Banan Republic its not his style. In my opinion he would have been out in the ice skating challenge

A beautiful and talented woman won the contest and deserved it. She is one of our new and brightest designers in the USA. We in Houston are proud. She and her sisters are HOT!
