Aniston Stays Classic In Black

Maniston looked terrible .I can now see why Brad fed up with her.

That is a seriously sharp dress IMO. It's lowdown, I love the dress. I want that dress........would probably have to remortgage my house for though lol.

Well now I know why she always keeps herhair down. But you know what she should be proud of her face. It's not the typical face that hollywood is always looking for, like let's say Angelina. And look how she's interacting with all the fans and actually talking to them. Angelina always had her nose up in the air at her later premieres. Always squinting her eyes and keeping her mouth shut, not looking at people. I think Angelina's got a big head now. Jen's been in this busines longer than AJ and she's never been stuck up. She always looked like a good spirited woman. Not fake, like some of those Jessica Simpson smiles (ugh, her smiles are so fake).

I read she had a "hairline adjustment." Never heard of it before, but her hairline does look strange. Maybe that's why she never wears it up...

Her nose looks weird, almost like it's swollen.

Amgelina is one of the most down to earth people you'd ever want to meet. One example is......A couple of guys staked out for hours where she was staying BC last fall when BP was shooting Jesse James just so they could meet her. When she returned from an engagement in DC early that morning, instead of calling the cops, or setting her security team on them (who told her the guys had been there all night) She went over and took a picture with them. She is one of the most down to earth, approachable, real celeb's you'd ever want to encounter, and never have I heard of anyone saying she shined them on, or went "celeb" on them.

I agree. Very few women (or men) can wear their hair just anyway, and Jen looks much better with her hair down. She's got very nice hair, and that dress is very sexy, and cascading hair with the neckline of the dress would have been quite nice. Also, if she wsa determined to wear her hair up, some nice hoops would have added balance.

Damn! I missed Jen's premiere. If only I had known. Since i moved to California, I've been going to a couple movie premieres, especially since they're not that far away.


If it's true that AJ went over and took a photo with those guys who staked out all night after she found out they were there, I think it is really sweet... that is, if it's true. But you know what, if guys were staking out all night at my place, and I was a celeb, I would do the same thing, that is if it werent my hollywood home... the security there is tight. If I knew that I didn't want my reputation to go down in the gutter, having a controversial affair. I'm sure it was the PR thing to do. But I do think it's great that she's not afraid to go up close to perfect strangers on the street and take photos with them.


She learned that from her father, Jon Voight, I bet. I remember seeing him more than a couple times and he was nice enough to give a quick hello to certain ladies or be willing to have his photo taken. I did notice he would purposely ignore certain types of ethnic women and refuse to shake their hands. That's somehting about him I could tell I didnt like. It was a very odd impression he gave in person more than once and some people noticed.

Maniston please take this advice. Stop making films. It's just not your thing. Thank you.

Oh I am not a fan of hers nor do I "hate" her. These are the new pictures up so I looked at them. I really do like her dress.

I don't like her, but she doesn't look bad. A bit plain and the lights showing her age, but she's pretty. I don't think the rottentomatoes score will stay high, the reviews are too few, it will decrease soon.

Conquering Hollywood is a very daunting task to undertake but she can do it, just be bold. I agree that she plays it safe, she has to take pride in who she is, say to the world "this is me, this is what I have to offer, take it oe leave it" and soon enough, she'll get a more favorable response. Think it, Do It, Be it.

Thanks God she's wearing her hair differently. It doesn't look good on her because it shows her prominent pointy features, but it's different and that's a progress with Jen. I may be in the minority but I find the dress horrible, and she does manage to dress nicely most of the times so this is seriously a fashion misstep for her.

Thank you Sarah, yes that means Jolie-Pitt are COMPATIBLE. Angie seems to be the kind who would care about sharp corners of Brad's furniture for the safely of her kids. Didn't they say he scrapped all those modern stuff into storage to accomodate the kids? He didn't need to do that with JA because they were NO KIDS.

Angelina may wear black in her everyday life, but she spices it up for premieres, much more than Jen. She wore black for Mr. and Mrs. Smith because if you're wearing leather, than black it is. She wore red for Alexander's premiere in London, white for Sky Captain, a beige miniskirt for Taking Lives and a pantsuit in Cannes, a floral dress for a Vanity Fair Luncheon back in 2004 and red again for Mohammad Ali's reception back in September.

Jennifer Aniston wore black three times in less than 6 months, including the premiere of Derailed, Oscars and this one. Even when she was with Brad she didn't take any risks fashion-wise wearing white, blue, but mostly black because that's how she is.The only time I really liked Jen was at the Emmys in 04 when she wore that embroidered dress and let her hair down all fluffy and wavy. That's her best look so far.

I don't think Jolie cares how she looks every day, just as her critics like you are harping on her wearing black all the time. For red carpet, I heard her interview saying she owes it to people and does trump up to be a 'movie star' that she is.

I think JA's critics on her dress (I don't care, looks boring but nice) are saying that JA doesn't know how to RISE UP FOR THE OCCASION like a movie star. Being on TV is very different from movies and also Jolie was a fashion model, knows how to pose on cue, knows how to change her pose and look for different camera angles every few seconds. It's a skill JA doesn't have, that many movie starts need to have. In short JA looks amateurish as a movie star, but that's OK because she is.

I actually think AJ is a good actress and I do think she has grown up alot. I just think her and Brad should have/could have handled the whole thing differently or more discreetly. I do agree that it's uncalled for to criticize JA's face. However, hair and dress, are part of the props, changable item which controbute to her image, thus people do criticize.

But navigating her way around a kitchen? That presented a bigger problem for the domestically challenged actress, who plays a bored assassin/housewife in the comedic thriller Mr. & Mrs. Smith. It opens Friday.

"Angie does not have the homemaker thing going," Akiva Goldsman, a producer on the movie, says with a laugh. "There's a scene where she kicks the oven door closed behind her. I showed her how to do that. She looked at me as though I had showed her that you could create gold out of thin air. The idea that you could kick an oven door closed was entirely alien to her."

It's vintage Jolie, who at 30 is nothing if not a comely cluster of contradictions.

The tattooed former wild child — who in her younger years battled an eating disorder and self-mutilation and later famously wore a necklace containing a drop of her then-husband Billy Bob Thornton's blood — has evolved into a vocal and hands-on celebrity goodwill ambassador for the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees. Today, the smoldering beauty is equally at home visiting the displaced in eastern Jordan, hobnobbing with global leaders at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, or posing on the red carpet in a clingy Celine dress. She is now by all accounts the doting single mom of adopted son Maddox, 3, but acknowledges being a sexual woman who takes lovers when it suits her. And she has been branded a homewrecker in the tabloids for her did-they, didn't-they relationship with Brad Pitt, who plays her assassin husband in Smith.

Chances are Jolie (who did not respond to interview requests) won't care much what the public thinks. She's too busy living her life on her own terms. Which makes people all the more interested.

"She charts her own route, and audiences really appreciate it when you're not trying to copy someone who came before or trying to be somebody else," Smith director Doug Liman says. "She wants to take flying lessons, and boom, she's got her license. She makes no apologies. 'This is who I am. Take it or leave it.' "

Since winning the supporting-actress Oscar for her frenzied turn in Girl, Interrupted, Angelina Jolie hasn't exactly filled theater seats on her own.

Her three hits — an ensemble movie about car thieves, an action film based on a video game and an animated flick about sharks — had other major lures.

"The movies she has done lately have had a stunt quality to them," says David Edelstein, a film critic for Slate and NPR's Fresh Air. "But I still find her performances enchanting. She's probably the most playful of the leading actresses we have right now, and I'm always alert to her on screen."

It's notable that even though most of her movies have tanked both commercially and critically, Jolie is considered an A-lister in Hollywood. With the exception of 2001's Lara Croft: Tomb Raider, the Oscar winner has never carried a hit movie. Yet Jolie's persona is so super-sized, her looks so unique, that her films seem almost an afterthought.

"She is larger than life, but she can't help it," says David Edelstein, film critic at Slate and NPR's Fresh Air. "Even her name is mythic. She's a magnificently sexual creature, (seems) a little nuts and isn't afraid to let her roles consume her. She makes you rejoice in the artifice of acting."

Her personality and unwillingness to be just another bland, by-the-numbers Hollywood starlet are just what make Jolie so appealing.

"Women identify with her because she seems smart and independent and empowered," Smith screenwriter Simon Kinberg says. "Men are attracted to her because she happens to be incredibly beautiful. And playful."

Adds Variety's Mike Speier: "She's got the danger quality. She's not a goody-goody. Yes, she adopted a baby, but she's not on TRL telling kids not to do drugs."

Talk to anyone who knows Jolie and you'll hear nearly identical descriptions of their first impressions: Without the buffer of a personal publicist, Jolie looks you straight in the eye, shakes your hand and asks about you.

"She's not a cold or divisive person," says Estée Lauder makeup artist Paul Starr, who has worked on Jolie since 1998's Gia and features her in his upcoming book, Paul Starr on Beauty: Conversations with Thirty Celebrated Women. "She comes in without an entourage. She's extremely professional and shows up three minutes before the call time. She knows her job."

As for her relationship with Pitt during the shoot, all say it was "professional," too. The two leads have largely stayed mum while promoting the film, save to praise each other as actors.

Still, in an interview last April, Pitt lamented that his co-star was misunderstood. "I've never seen someone so misperceived in the press," he said. "Jolie's really a delightful human being, a dedicated mother and really quite normal. (She's) dedicated to her work with the U.N. There's actually a real lightness to her."

Jolie doesn't dwell on the scuttlebutt about her sex life.

"The press can say I'm dating whomever, they can say whatever about my films, and it doesn't hurt anybody," she says in the July issue of Marie Claire magazine in an interview March 28. "But misinterpret something that has to do with refugees, and it could affect them in a bad way."

In the same interview, Jolie quashes tales of an on-set fling with Pitt, who was then still with his wife, Jennifer Aniston, who has since filed for divorce. "To be intimate with a married man, when my own father (actor Jon Voight) cheated on my mother, is not something I could forgive," she said. "I could not, could not, look at myself in the morning if I did that."

Today, Jolie lives with Maddox outside London rather than in the Tinseltown celebrity fishbowl. She remains estranged from her father, who said on television that she has "extreme problems." When she's not jetting to refugee camps, Jolie pilots planes, gets tattoos and socializes with whomever she chooses, even if it risks tabloid attention. (In May, she had dinner with her first husband, Jonny Lee Miller, and their photos showed up in the tabs.) But by most accounts, her free time is dedicated to her U.N. work and Maddox.

Kinberg calls Jolie a "very hands-on" mom. "He's always around, and she's always with him."

When Maddox asked for spiky hair while attending the Venice Film Festival with Jolie last autumn, she obliged, recalls Vicky Jenson, who directed Jolie in last year's animated hit Shark Tale. Maddox is "a barnacle attached to her shoulder. She's very loving with him. She encouraged him to say 'Hi' to people but didn't push him. He'd get shy and hide under her hair."

The twice-divorced Jolie, on the other hand, never appears bashful. There she goes, posing with Pitt on the cover of the July issue of W magazine even as rumors about them reach a fever pitch.

Fortunately for her, Jolie never reads the tabloids that follow her life and loves, says Smith's Goldsman, and in fact knows nothing about pop culture. Instead, "she's more interested in the kind of books we read in high school and college and then stopped reading."

Jolie sat around on the set and hung out with the cast and crew between takes. "She doesn't gossip, and she's weirdly culturally removed," Goldsman says. "She doesn't waste her energy on silliness. You'll never find common ground with her based on what's on TV or what's in the tabloids."

And there's nothing understated about Jolie's beauty, from the bodacious lips to the cat-like eyes and eye-poppingly curvy body. Jolie is one of the very few celebrities who looks as good in person, if not better, than in airbrushed magazine photos. When she is on the red carpet, Jolie appears regal, composed — and slightly bored.

"I don't think she realizes how genetically blessed she is," says Marie Claire editor Rebecca Shalam, who has known Jolie for four years and has watched her get dirty with Maddox in the park. "I don't think she's aware of the effect she has on men and women. She's thinking about getting aid to Ethiopia and not necessarily about, 'Oh, are they going to say I have a 26-inch waist or do I need liposuction?' "

As a result, Shalam says, "people are fascinated by her confidence, her independence, her total lack of pretension, her genuine desire to help people who aren't in position to help themselves."

Shannon Boyd, manager of the UNHCR Goodwill Ambassador and Special Events Programs, has worked with Jolie for four years and calls her "very engaged" and "courageous." The actress is in contact with the U.N. on a nearly daily basis, and as soon as her schedule opens, is willing to go on another mission, she says. "We treat her as a colleague. She sleeps on colleagues' sofas, and if all we have is a spare floor, she does that. She gets her half-liter of water to go on a long jeep ride in 100-degree weather if that's what everyone else has."

In addition to her 20-plus missions, Jolie has donated substantial amounts of money to the organization and "has paid her own way since day one," says Boyd.

But she's no ponderous pontificator you dread sitting next to at a dinner party.

"For someone as dedicated to very serious things in the world, she has the ability to really laugh," Kinberg says. "Her sense of humor is mature, sophisticated. She understands irony and has wryness and doesn't take herself that seriously. When you're working with her, you don't feel like you're working with Kofi Annan."

Well, what we DO know is this, Angelina Jolie has often bragged about how she goes to hotels to have random sex with a variety of lovers, some men, some women, so the likelihood is that eventually, and this IS a real possiblity, she will trust the wrong man/lady and will be TAPED having sex with someone.

I think the dress is stunning, but the hair is not. I'm no longer a JA "fan" having gotten way over her with all her whining about her divorce etc. You know Nicole Kidman had a very high profile divorce and she was the epitome of class-rarely said anything about it and focused on the kids and on her growth from it. As far as I've seen, the only comment she made about Tom was that she could "now wear high heels." I realize that Tom probably told her he'd sue her up one side and down the other if she said anything negative, but I don't think she would anyhow. Jen should take some lessons. I'm tired of turning on the tv, going to the internet or opening and a magazine and reading or hearing about how hurt she was, how she is dealing with it, how she had a bit of a pity party, but NOW don't pity her anymore. Leandra your emotional intelligence surpasses that of a lot of people who post here as well as those of most of your peers. Your parents have done a wonderful job of teaching you values and compasssion.

IMHO, what has gotten our interest in these three individuals is all those issues or insecurities that we, woman have when it comes to relationships, work vs. children.. We all look at this situation from emotional filters that come from what we have experienced in our lives.

I do not believe in blind faith . I don't share an opinion if it comes from ignorance or unfairness. That way I avoid looking stupid or a bigot . I don't write anything I would not feel comfortable saying to the person's face. Yet when one reads 99% of what the Team Jen side write, there is no fairness or regard to what is true and what is not. I have read horrid comments and death wishes for all, the children, Brad and Angie. There some directed at Jen also but not to the level that is directed towards BAMZ+1.

In these days where more than half of marriages end in divorce. Perhaps there should be some dialogue about how to maintain a solid. healthy relationship with our mates . Or what in a marriage is negotiable and what isn't . Like with Brad and Jen, if they had taken the time to really get to know each other Brad would have realized that Jen's focus for her future was very different from his.

For those women who throw the mid life crisis accusation. Perhaps instead of fearing it, you should learn about it. Because we all go through it. Men have different issues than women but we all go through it. That is a part of life. If you are not paying attention of your marriage's emotional health... you are responsible not only for what you do but sometimes also because you do nothing.
If you ignore it the way most you seem to ignore the valid and documented information that vindicates Brad and Angie then one does not need a crystal ball to see what the future holds for you. And unlike Jen, you will not have such a generous ex-husband who leaves you with millions.

Well stated....I truly believe in Brad and Jen's relationship both changed in retrospect of what each other expected. Thier life's goals so to speak were at different spectrums with no common ground. A family is not something you can compromise on..Whether BP or JA made the decision to end the marriage is irrelevant and has no consequence on where each one is at in thier present life. They both agreed to dissolve thier partnership amicably which would lead one to believe it was beyond repair and had been for quite some time. AJ did not destroy this union, distance did.

Leandra, please don't let Sarah's advice give you encouragement to not have a relationship with your father. What went wrong was between your parents, it had nothing to do with you. You are old enough to confront your father about it and listen to what he says. Children, need both parents. For a girl, a father influences how she sees herself and her relationships with other men. So, if your relationship was good before there is no reason to deny yourself that now. I am sure that once the dust of hurt and dissapointment from the marriage settles, your mother will want you to have two parents who love and care for you.

Cheating is not a simple cut and dry isue. Reality is that a good marriage does not just happen , it takes a lot of work , communication and compromise. We all bring family taught baggage with us. I am a Latina and my father was raised in a culture where part of machismo is to cheat. If a man is raised with a cheating father than it is something he learns to think as a part of being a man etc. My mother had severe depression and was an alcoholic -a mean one at that. I guess I cheated on her too because I turned to other women for mothering. It is not the mistakes of those individuals who are in your life or want to be in your life that you should focus your attention to. It is WHAT did they learn that you need to ask and listen to.

What I see in JA is a very weak minded woman, very weak personality as far as knowing who she really is. She seems very lost and she seems to simply "act" the role of Rachael in her real life. Maybe that's her problem .. she has an identity issue here.

I am surprised by the fans that continue to praise her for "WHAT" ? It's amazing how losers connect to losers. It's amazing how one try to project their own miserable life through that of another miserable soul Aniston.

You would be a wonderful mentor for young girls who are going through what you did. Might ask your counselo about it or call Brig brothers and sisters organization and ask their advice.

Also dyslexia is not something that should limit your potential For example, the founder of KINKO's was a dyslexic. People with that processing disorder are all way above average in intelligence ( which you have beautifully proved here today.)

One more thing... Journal your feelings and thought dealing with your father . It is important to express them in some way, even if it is not directly to his face. I always tell parents in your situation that one should the adult and it should not be the child. So, keep a safe distance; physical and emotional from your father. Dear Crap 221--you are right Jen and Nicole's situations are different. Nicole was dumped publically with a very cryptic "She knows what she did." Allegations of cheating were denied by her and every man brought up in the situation. Furthermore, Nicole suffered a very public miscarriage and Tom wasn't to be seen. She had to get a DNA sample (SmokingGun divorce papers) to prove it was his. I'd say that ranks a lot higher in humiliation than Jen and her pity party over her divorce. If Jen had just kept her mouth shut instead of crying and whining in every publication, than I doubt that you'd see the animosity against her that you do. People get very tired after a year or so of someone whining, complaining and feeling sorry for themselves. I like BAMZ and I did like Jen. If BAMZ complained as much as Jen, I'd probably not care for them anymore either.

I honestly don't know why so many people concentrate on looks. Posts saying oh BPitt is so hot, etc are BORING. It really doesn't excite me to read that post any further. Saying someone is HOT is boring. Concentrating on looks is boring.
There are more important issues to talk about in reference to these celebrities.
A more interesting take on JA looks or any other celebrity, would be to talk about how JA compares herself to Jolie. In these pictures above she wears black just like Angelina. Ok, thats not enough to support my point. Here's the next one: she wears NO jewelery. So like Angelina in the pictures from Paris. And one more to close the circle- she wears her hair up and ... which she knows she shouldnt be doing, just like Angelina. It is bed hair too, no coiffeur involved.
She did expose her features she should be covering up. Her ears with no earrings turn attention to the size and shape of her ears, which is not flattering.

All of the above points make me think she does think too much about Angelina and she does compare herself to Angelina. I would even say she's obsessed about her. She hasn't moved on. She is full of unresolved feelings inside. She is not herself. She is insecure, trying to be the other woman who won her ex's heart.
That's a more interesting way to talk about someone's looks than to call someone names like highschool kids.

Great post, thank you and I agree. I actually think it's good that she is exposing her features. This way, if directors want to cast her it's possible to see what she could be.

I remember in the trailer of Rumor Has It, a scene where Kostner was flying an airplane with JA, he said a line but we couldn't see her facial expression because her damn hair was in the way. Chris MacMillan, her stylist, should come up with something creative without covering her face. This was the most 'honest' look I have ever seen of JA. Whether she is less beautiful than AJ is irrelevant.

If you are right though Agnieszka, that JA is obsessed with AJ, it would be so sad. Because that means JA hasn't owned up to what mistakes she made in the marriage, still blaming on an innocent 3rd party who came along after the marriage fell apart. That goes for her fans, too.

Hello to all my BAMZ=1 Fans, I found this article online regarding BP & AJ: ONE point for Team Jolie-Pitt

I saw the commercial probably like everyone else did. It had all these different actors and famous people talking about poverty and AIDS in black and white. I was intrigued because not only did they ask for me to support them but the name of the organization looked very familiar, my Greek letter also spells ONE (theta nu xi). The ONE Campaign is an organization to rally Americans to support our lawmakers, when making innovative decisions about foreign policy. Especially policies that will affect how the United States gives to countries in need. Led by Bono and Brad Pitt, the ONE Campaign got my attention.
Maybe it was that song by U2 and with everyone dancing with iPods, it also could have been the fact that Pitt was finally single. But for some reason none of that mattered more to me than Angelina Jolie's involvement. I mean for the last four years she's been out of the spotlight, and under the paparazzi's radar. But then she did this movie with Pitt, called Mr. & Mrs. Smith, and she became my guilty pleasure for the rest of the summer.

Being my guilty pleasure didn't only mean I read every gossip magazine I could get my hands on in the grocery aisle. I brought her book too, yes Angelina Jolie can write among other things. Notes from my Travels: Visits with Refugees in Africa, Cambodia, Pakistan, and Ecuador, moved me in a way that no other book had last summer, not even the ones for my classes.

Jolie, who claims not to be a writer, does an awesome job of putting you in the shoes of those who work for United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees. After finishing the book in 48 hours and dried my tears I was motivated to find ways to help. The ONE Campaign commercial came on again and it clicked in my head. I did not want to just sign a petition and leave it up to the politicians I wanted to put my whole weight behind this movement. That book made me realize that it's not just me and my problems in the world there truly are others out there who are less fortunate that I. That stuff your mother told you about children not eating in Asia was true and still is unfortunately. Jolie currently a U.N. Goodwill Ambassador has taken philanthropy to a whole new level and then she teams up with Pitt.

This couple is making moves to change the world for the better. I know because some how watching a movie and reading one book changed me, to the better I think. Who said that celebrities are a bad influence? I want to join the Peace Corp and there is no shame in that. I think sometimes we forget just how powerful one person can be, Pitt and Jolie reminded me of that. The ONE Campaign works off this premise too. If they can just get you to sign their petition once, to visit the website, or to wear the white armband then their job is done, because they know some one will see it and tell their friends. And just like that your simple click of a button makes a huge statement to the people in Congress and all over the world

I don't see why people make a big deal about her looks. Her Oscar appearance was ok, & people criticized that her hair looked boring & that she always wears it the same way. So this time, they changed a bit, & actually put her hair UP, which is a rare event.

Unfortunately, due to the lack of artistic skill of JA's hair stylist or makeup stylists, they didn't do the best job of giving her a good hairdo to complement the dress. The ponytail makes her look like a teenage cheerleader.

As far as "ugly"? Well, I never thought she was as pretty as people her sound. But she's not ugly either. Now who really is ugly, & with all the less favorable features that JA has, but multipled by FIFTY, is Sarah Jessica Parker. Now that woman, I never had any idea why people liked her. Other than that she is anorexically skinny, that woman also has a disturbingly unsightly face. The chin, the small eyes, the loooooooonnnng face, the huge nose, the protruding jaw, the somewhat "man-ish" flavor in her looks overall, & those sad, disgusting attempts at looking "sexy" which just makes her look even less so. I didn't want to post here, but something (exact word escpapes me) got the better of me. Call it the woman's gabby drive.

I'm not going to lie or put on any pretense: I don't like Jennifer. I was never a fan of hers. I never liked Friends. BUT I don't hate her. Hate is too strong for a word to apply or feel for any celebrity or public figure. Hate is an emotion that should be reserved for people who have done physical or emotional harm to you directly. It's definitely shouldn't be on anybody whom you've become disenchanted with.

Now, having said that, I'm not blind to the fact that Jennifer is plain. She's no great beauty. But she's not ugly as Kathy Griffin or Margaret Cho either.

Jennifer works the best with what she has. Her face is full of flaws but she pulls it together - at least with this outing (she looked terrible at the Sundance festival). She even looks like she has an upper lip here.

Ponytail is rather ordinary, but it is a change from the flat-ironed straight hair in her face that she's been wearing for several years now. Her best hairstyle is a pulled-back French twist. Perhaps, she could vary that with draping tendrils.

I would be the last to ever criticize someone wearing black. I love black. She was on the right track with her sheer, gauzy layered dress, but it didn't quite come out right. The edges (sleeve and dress hem) look frayed and torn. But it fits well on her. Actually, her Oscar dress was a better take on the gauze layer. You have to see the dress close up to appreciate that dress. Of course, she could experiment with another color to mix it up, maybe navy.

Angie may prefer black in her regular life, but she does mix it up well in her official appearances. The silk print dress she wore in ShoWest was dazzling and it draped beautifully on her.

#503 Seems like I remember all that denying about a relationship between Pitt and AJ while Pitt was living with JA then mysteriously he and Jolie end up together. How foolish are some of you? I don't know if their marriage was dead and neither do you. Marriage takes work and from his actions I assume Brad didn't want to work on the problems involved but skipped on to someone new. The problem with that is he will have the same difficulties with Jolie because he brings his same attitudes and problems to each relationship without resolving or becoming aware of them.

After some deliberation I have developed a theory as to why haters, and in general those who refuse to listen to logical reason, keep clinging to the simplistic and flawed belief that Brad cheated, when by all accounts (statements from Jen, Brad, and Angie) there was no cheating.

Firstly, people lean on their partners for support and assurance, which is perfectly normal, expect when they go to the irrational lengths of constantly seeking validation when there is no reason to. This clingy, needy, insecure behavior can only go on for so long until it begins to strain the relationship.

Through numerous sources and posts, it is safe to say that this was the situation between Brad and Jen. This is very likely to be the reason why they split, however, as I mentioned before many haters won’t accept this perfectly logical reasoning, and here’s why:

People or women specifically feel scorned because they identify so much with Jen, because they recognize (unconsciously perhaps) those issues of insecurity and neediness in themselves.

Since they might find themselves in a similar situation relationship-wise it is hard for them to deal with the idea that they too could end up being left for such reasons or even that they WERE left for those reasons.

For example a woman is clingy w/ her boyfriend or husband, she’s never content with the relationship. She always needs more from him, more attention, more praise, more support, which after a while is ludicrous, and damaging to the relationship.

A person/woman might not think that their obsessive neediness is a weighty enough reason to break up their relationship, but it is. They might be in denial and are unable to recognize their issues and therefore it is incomprehensible to them that they would be left because of it, thus to assuage their pain and/or rationalize their breakup, they attribute the cause of the demise to something else, i.e. another woman (sound familiar).

It is inconceivable to them that their irrational behavior is driving their partner away, so they have to displace the blame in order to cope. However, relationships need a strong foundation and the weakness and insecurity of one party can shake that foundation, whether or not someone wants to accept that truth.

Thus is it highly probable that people who find themselves in the same boat as Jen (are needy and irrational) and then lost their partner, identify with Jen, and thus find it easier to place the blame somewhere else, like on “the other women” (Angelina), rather than face the facts and look at themselves.

And it is to be expected that haters will lash out saying its sooooo lame that people concoct elaborate excuses for Brad and Angie, but hey, relationships ARE complicated and multifaceted. There is rarely just one single, simple reason behind a break up, though delusional haters like to cite the same oversimplified reason that Brad must have cheated in order to comfort themselves.

If their vision wasn't clouded by their wanton desire to indirectly defend their own neediness, then they could see the truth. Also, disclaimer: not everyone is needy, just those who irrationally, and in the face of overwhelming evidence, refuse to see the light that Brad didn't cheat (see above).
