Guys, I read on Namibia news that the familly has arrived there , nobody knows just how long they are going to stay but, the press is speculating that Angie wants to give birth there.
Let' s wait and see.

Thank Goddess for you smutters in France. But before we get into this EXCLUSIVE sighting, let’s backtrack a little and address all those rumours.

As you know, the Pitts haven’t been photographed together in over a week, prompting rags on both sides of the Atlantic to proclaim an imminent split. The British tabloids are the latest to jump on the breakup wagon reporting that Brad is fed up with Angelina's demanding behaviour, that things are tense, that they are arguing, that she is kicking his ass…blah blah blah. Amateur gossip, y'all. I’m telling you – all leaks to these two have been sealed. And as much as I love the English dailies, they’d be the last to dig up any reliable goods on the Family Pitt, you know what I mean?

However, I do understand some of the concerns coming out of “Brangelina-land”. Angie has barely cracked a smile and Brad looks morose and haggard at best. But apparently that’s just the face they put on when cameras are attacking. Because according to 2 French readers out there who saw them today/yesterday (I never understand the time difference) the hottest couple alive is still alive. And holding hands. Stephanie L and Therese B were both in Paris and saw Mr & Mrs Smith at the Georges Pompidou Center hands clasped. According to Therese, Angelina was laughing about something and at one point when there was a little more foot traffic, Brad walked ahead of her, still clutching her hand, as if to block her from any intrusion.

“They seemed very comfortable together and I didn’t see any photographers either so maybe that’s what they were relaxed but his skin is dry and she is even more gorgeous in person but thin and both not as tall as I thought. Not short but not tall.”

Obviously not the same story the rags want you to believe but hey – scandal and split is always way more interesting than a boring couple bringing up babies and holding hands, just like the rest of us. In this case however, there really is no need to panic (or rejoice, depending on your flavour) about the status of the Pitts. They are together. They are happy. MEGA stars Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt arrived in Namibia at the crack of dawn yesterday. As far as The Namibian was able to establish last night, the couple have reportedly brought their two children - Maddox and Zahara - with them.

It is unclear how long they will stay in Namibia, or what the family's plans are while they are here.

At the weekend, wire reports emanating from overseas speculated that Jolie, who is pregnant with Pitt's child, was coming to have her baby in Namibia.

Alternative reports have suggested that the family is just on a visit.

Both stars value their privacy and are very protective of their children.

The Namibian Broadcasting Corporation radio news yesterday quoted immigration officials confirming that the Jolie-Pitt family had arrived at Walvis Bay at around 06h30.

Sources in Europe earlier told The Namibian that the couple had flown out of Le Bourget airport in Paris in a private jet on Monday night - believed to be headed for Namibia.

Jolie is no stranger to Namibia.

The Oscar-winning actress spent time in the country in 2002 during the filming of the international feature movie on refugees, 'Beyond Borders', at Swakopmund.

Namibia is believed to hold particularly fond memories for Jolie.

It was here that she took legal custody of her adopted Cambodian son, Maddox, in March 2002.

At that time he was seven-and-a-half months old.

Last year Jolie adopted a little Ethiopian girl, Zahara, an orphan.

ACTIVE FOR AFRICA It is not known if Pitt has previously visited Namibia.

However, he has visited South Africa and Ethiopia, and shares Jolie's humanitarian concerns.

The couple are said to have fallen in love with Africa.

Much of the focus of their humanitarian commitment is directed at the continent, as well as Asia.

In 2001, Jolie was asked by the United Nations High Commission to become its Goodwill Ambassador.

She has also been awarded the UN Correspondents Association's Citizen of the World Award, which was presented to her by UN Secretary General Kofi Annan.

In addition to Namibia's Osire refugee camp, Jolie is reported to have visited refugee camps in Tanzania, Congo, Thailand, Ecuador, Sri Lanka, Kosovo and Ingushetia.

Pitt and Jolie also constantly advocate the plight of refugees and those caught up in conflict on the world stage.

SPACE 'RESPECTED' In an interview with The Namibian when the actress left Namibia after shooting 'Beyond Borders', the producer, Lloyd Phillips, quoted Jolie as saying she had had a great time in the country.

Phillips said Jolie had felt very comfortable in Namibia "as people respected her space completely".

He said Jolie and her two co-stars, Clive Owen and Noah Emmerich had felt very connected to the country.

Although Jolie was rarely seen in public, many of the crew members and extras who worked with her or interacted with her on the movie set commented on how open and accessible she was.

She was not fussy about the food she ate, she made a point of greeting people on the set and played with the extras' children between shoots.

Jolie also made a special effort to thank all the people she worked with during the last week of filming.

I would say that this Namibia trip lays to rest those bad rag articles that Angie had her mother flown to France so her dying mother could be there for the birth of the baby. If Angie's mother was really sick with cancer I doubt she'd be flying so much - Cali to France to Namibia.

I"ll tell you what would bring in that amount of money....The infamous W magazine that featured Brad & Angelina. It's gonna be a collector's item. As with anything on ebay, verify & authenticate everything including the seller. There are so many fakes on that site. Selling this picture for that amount of money seems fishy and it's not even autographed (which would need to authenticated).

Yeah I agree that whoever is selling this picture is pretty pathetic. I feel celebrities should have the same respect as any other parent on that ride. This person wouldn't try to sell the picture of the people in front of her so he shouldn't feel it's alright to sell hers'. okay let me first stae that i love africa , i think it is one of the most beautiful places in the world but coooooooooommmmmmmmee onnnnnnn people who the hell leaves france a first world country with less turbulent conditions and more sterile hospitals to go have a baby in Nambia(if the sources are true)People in Nambia dont even want to have their babies in Nambia!!! Pregnant women do go for regualr check-ups and scans. These tests help you keep up with what's going on with the baby. I'm sure all is well. Katie Holme has been with Tom Cruise travelling and she's closer to giving birth. These people love their children and would not do anything delibrately to jeopardize their health.

Isn't funny how the same people that were happy a few days ago that they were splitting up are now suddenly worried about her baby's well being. Every body has become an expert in all things Brangelina, when she should smile, fly or walk or even where to have her baby.
So if they are in Namibia that means they did not split, and may be, just maybe, the paparazzi will leave them alone for a few weeks. I still think the baby is due in June, and it is a boy hence they have both spent so much time with mad.
I wish them all the best in what ever choices they make. And may she get back in abundance all that she has given to the poor, weak and oppressed the world over. I agree with #32 about not messing with a child's birth place. No matter what the feelings the parents may have for a third world country, first world countries have many advantages, health, lack of susceptibility to prejudice, immigratio, etc to name a few.

My younger brother and myself were born to British medical doctors who loved, lived and worked in East and Central Africa in the 1960's.

While they may have enjoyed their time there back in the liberal and affluent 1960's of the time (British Colonies, etc), we have been born into a nightmare of prejudice, negative associations (usually untrue) and a struggle with a sense of hereditary identity. Even what should be the relatively simple process of obtaining a copy of a birth certificate takes 3-6 months in African countries, you just don't know how many other people are using your birth certificate and partly because of that, you have to beg, wait and finally threaten to simply get a copy. I won't even begin to mention the difficulties encountered when it comes to Immigration procedures when settling/visiting first world countries, albeit usually down to ignorance/prejudice, although I'm sure celebrities and their spouse may be somewhat exempt from those particular difficulties.

Whatever the case and inspite of our mutual love for Africa and third world countries, given the choice, we would much rather have been born in Europe or any first world country, in hindsight!

It would have made our lives so much easier!

# 44 | Porgie -actually the law in the US have change in past years regarding children with both parents are US Citizen. It does not matter where the child is born, he/she will be automatically a US citizen. So I don't think the baby will have any problem at all. I am sure, the parent will have all the legal paper works ready. My goddaughter was born in France last November, it only took 1 week to get her US passport.

I just read on another thread that BAMZ is booked at the resort in Namibia for 10 weeks. BAMZ+1 rules!! Africa's fine to have a baby -- if not what about those who live there? What exactly are you saying? This will focus attention on the continent. AJ is truely a saint.

People, ya'll need to quit acting like they're going to be living in the bush with the natives. They are at a RESORT, for God's sake. There will be plenty of medical help there if necessary. Clearly AJ (and hopefully BP, too) feel it's important for all of their children to have a kinship beyond blood. AJ took custody of Maddox in Namibia, adopted Z in Ethiopia and probably wants her biological child to have that same tie with her adoptive children. It's not that unusual in families with adopted children to do something to help the adopted children realize that they are just as important as a biological child and to help the biological child bond with the adoptive siblings.

The place where they are rumored to be staying, is absolutely beautiful. There are medical facilities in the area! Africa is where they first hooked up. Pretty cool, if they decided to get married while they'll there.......Another rumor for the TABS!

Hope the family finally gets some of the privacy they deserve now that they are in Africa.
They looked relaxed when they first arrived in France but subsequently they must have been considerably stressed the way they were hounded everytime they have to step out of their apartment. It can't be healthy especially for the children.
I watched a video of AJ at some event in the US last Dec and it was scary the way the papps were pressing in on her. It was so aggressive and I just can't imagine what it must be like to have face this everytime a person steps out. And haters please don't say that she's a mediawhore! Reckon you should watch the clip just to get an idea of how terrifying it can be. Both these clips are on www.youtube for those interested.
So I just hope BAMZ+1 can finally get the chance to live normal life whilst they are in Namibia since it's gonna be a media circus once the baby arrives and they will eventually have to return to HW.
BTW you can catch an interview AJ had with Ryan Seacrest in which she mentioned that she was in Namibia when Maddox was brought to her from Cambodia.

Babies are born everywhere. I have caught babies on airplanes, in gas stations, in the back of cars, on Carribean beaches, in Jamaican huts,Birthing rooms, hospitals, homes....Been a perinatal CNM for over 20 years. So believe me it really is OK. She is close to a term gestaion now and I believe if labor would ensue all should be fine. AJ & BP would never put their child at risk. I am sure if it is to be born in Africa all the arrangemenst have been made and she will have the best medical care. She has friends there, privacy and I believe she is going to settle in and nest for awhile now. Just my hunch.

1. I am glad to see the conversation shift to more deliberate debate, as I'm new to reading these posts and the people at the last thread bickered in adolescent style. (almost made me find another site.)
2. E-bay has pulled celebrity property in the past that does not have authentic permission, so what gives here?
3. Angie can and will have her baby anywhere in the world she wants, and so should you! Humans have given birth for centuries without medical intrusions. I don't blame her a bit for seeking any kind of privacy. My own children were born at home with a midwife and they are surely vital enough to pass the human test.. why should a natural process like birth make so many uneasy?

I am wondering, does Namibia grant automatic naturalization if you are born there? If so the baby can have Namibian citizenship. Also, is Angie's Cambodian citizenship only humanitarian 'honorary' one? Can she transfer her Cambodian citizenship to kids and spouse? Or is that country 'paternal oriented' as in Switzerland? I heard they have a really old fashioned law such as you need your father's permission to marry!

Also doesn't Angie have a Canadian citizenship through her mom? Can she transfer that to her kids and spouse?

Wow! Actually my kids have 4 nationalities each as well, not too uncommon these days... but not as exotic as these!!

My mother is French. When she married my Dad , a US citizen, she did not become an American citizen . It took her years to become an American citizen. She had to meet time requirements as well as take citizenship classes.

Yeah I know. Naturalization through a spouse is harder. My interest is parental. Every country is different--if you are born in the US, you get the citizenship. Not in Switzerland, I'm not sure about French. My husband is French, so my American-born kids are automatically French. I was wondering if that applies to Cambodians, Canadians etc.

Also do you know if French Canadians are entitled to gain a French citizenship, although born in Canada? If so M. Bertrand maybe French, and BAMZ will be French! (if Brad marries legally for him)

I can't help comparing Katie Holmes pregnancy looks and Angelina's. I think they both look great but what I mean is, remember when Katie first announced her pregnancy on 5th October ( I did a wikipedia search and assume that's accurate). Everyone was saying she's huge, there's no way she could be just 3 months pregnant and she must be 5 months pregnant. I remember thinking, well, time will tell and guess what, here we are on April 6th and she's still preggers. (Please don't go down the fake pregnancy route, I beg you.) So let's see, October, november, december, january, february march, - that looks like 6 months to me.

Now everyone is assuming that Angelina will pop it out in early May and therefore she mustn't be flying, carrying maddox etc.. Well, perhaps, perhaps, whoever lives longest will know.

Anyway, just thought that Katie and Angelina are pretty skinny and may show earlier then normal women. I remember there was a teacher in my school who was frankly, rather over weight. She popped out 2 (not twins) to the total shock of me and my friends. I swear your couldn't tell if she was pregnant or just put on a little extra weight. LOL, you couldn't really tell that she had delivered the baby when she came back from maternity leave too:)

We don't actually know when either woman is due. The Tabs say Angie is due 2may, 18may, june; Katie RIGHT NOW! Only time will tell.They are carrying thier babies quite differently........

My Mother was a French citizen when I was born. I never considered myself a French citizen. I considered myself an American. I never thought I was a French Citizen. My Mother chose to become an American citizen. She did not have to become one. So if Brad is married to Angelina or they do get married and if Angelina has a citizenship to another country, Brad would have to want to become a citizen of another country and follow whatever residency and other requirements. It was never made clear if Angelina was made an official resident of Cambodia or some honorary type thing.

I was never told that I had a Dual citizenship.

I wish AJ could "let loose", laugh and smile all the time like that in public! They look absolutely georgeous +++++ ":)

I have just surfed the net and found out one of the rumours is Brad has walked out from Angie. They have endless arguments. Can someone tell me whether it's true or not? I choose not to believe the tabloids. I love them and i hope it's not true..

My dad is french and my mom american, and as such I automatically got french citizenship. I was born in the USA so I also have american citizenship. However, you need to register the kid at the french consulate as soon as possible or it's a nightmare to prove it later on. My dad registered me in chicago within a week.

However, legally speaking, the US won't technically allow you to keep dual citizenship. Luckily, France could care less so they'll still consider you a citizen even if the US makes you commit to the US. It's all very complicated. I was born before the law changed in any case, but nowadays from what I understand the US makes you choose. Most other countries don't care though.

When you become a US citizen you have to renounce your other citizenships, as well. My dad naturalized when I was 8, so for the US he's no longer a french citizen. But, like I said, France doesn't care one whit about that and he's still considered a french citizen over there. It's all rather stupid actually.

Sorry I just have to rant here.

My kids are the same as you two, born in America with a French father. But even you ask my 5 year old she says she is an "American". It really doesn't matter but there is a good aspect to own an EU passport, i.e. in the future you can establish residency and take a job anywhere in the EU. Also since my daughter is French, she is entitled to enter a French public school anytime she wants; next month she will attend a preschool in France for one month, for free. French passport is a very nice one to have :)

So if Jolie-Pitt's new baby is born in Namibia he/she could still have an OPTION to maintain some kind of ties to the land and the culture; that's brilliant on the parents' part.

Here is my reason for thinking that Pitt and Jolie are married. Please bear with me because I am going to try to cut and paste all relevant links, I still have some legal issues to look up, but here goes.
1-I guess I will start in the middle-In December 2005 BP petitioned to court to adopt Maddox and Zahara and to change their names. There are two types of adoption -One the step parent adoption where someone who is already married adopts. If this is the case, there are less legalities involved and the process is shorter. Type two:When two people are not married the following has to occur (not necessrily in this order):
1-The custodial parent has to take out an ad in the paper
2-A social worker has to visit to see the enviroment and how the person trying to adopt interacts with the child
3-The paperwork has to be prepared after the visits are concluded and a recommendation for or against the adoption has to occur.
This is what is documented by reliable sources:
Aug 2005-divorce from Anniston is final'however, legal partnership will not wnd until 10/2005-Thus the marriage nor adoption or name change process coud begin until after October 2, 2005. Backdating we all Know Jolie was pregnant in October 2005. At that time the children were Maddox C. Jolie-Thornton and Zahara Marley Jolie-The newbaby if born without marriage or any name changes would have been Baby Jolie-

Indeed Angie did take an ad out in the local paper announcing the name change, which would support the unmarried status.

Actually since Angie's divorce from Billy Bob, Maddox's last name has been just Jolie.

Being that the baby is legally (regardless of marriage) and technically Brad's, it would be natural for the last name to be Jolie-Pitt.

Name change is easy, as long as no one protest, after publication and both or in this case only Angie needs to give consent, since she is the children sole legal guardian. But adoption, you need to have a few more step. I did not see any publication for adoption. I believe that she allowed Brad to be the adoptive parent to unite their growing family as a unit, that doesn't necessarily have to be sanctioned by marriage. As long as the children all have the same legal parents, they are a family. In the interim, Maddox and Zahara aren't legally Brad's yet. But we know for all intents and purposes, Brad is their father.

I will say that it would seem to me for their future adoptions, it would be easier if Brad and Angie were married. Would they be able to adopt as a couple to avoid these later adoption papers?

My understanding is that adoption papers are private so we didn't get the court documents in the public domain as with the paperwork for the name change.

But according to the name-change documents, the reason stated for the change is "adoptive father-to-be." And Brad's publicist confirmed he was in the process of adopting. It would seem logical to have all the paperwork filed at the same time or around the same time. Otherwise, it would be akin to putting the cart before the horse, no?

I think they got married sometime over Xmas... remember his family visited during that time (his b/day-xmas) If u look at the pics in Jan when Angie is picking up or taking Mad to school she has on the gold band that Brad has on her thumb.... i noticed Brad's band from the Haiti pictures.....

I think the adoption process started way before the public became aware of it.... Technically the divorce came thru in Aug and every thing was signed off on.... Adoptions details are not published to protect the kids....The only reason I think the public learnt about the adoption is because with the name change she had to post the petition in the paper.

Last month a couple of haters stated that adoption paper had never been filed,but 2 differnt posts under the name anon said that Brad did file adoption papers.They stated they worked in La county clecks office and also said that adoption papers are sealed to the public.But the person did assure us William Bradley Pitt did file adoption papers to adopt maddox and zahara.I did do a little research myself and you have to do the name change and the adoption seperate.People do the name change first because it the easier task then do the adoption after.

Certain records are sealed from the public. Even certain divorce records, which normally are public, can be sealed from the public when good cause can be shown. In the case of adoption papers, those are kept away from the public.

I actually loved "Deliverance" (but I won't be going whitewater rafting in any backwoods anytime soon). Jon Voight was great in it, as well as in "Midnight Cowboy." Angie really does have a talented father, even though he might have been the shits as a parent.

Informative post. That is my understanding of citizenship in the States. You must renounce the former citizenship to be an American citizen. Perhaps, that is limited to naturalized citizens only and not to natives born in the States of parents with foreign citizenship and children of US citizens born in other countries that recognize citizenship by birth rights (Japan won't as many Japanese-born Koreans know).

Yet, I hear Canadians living in the States saying they have dual citizenship even when they've become naturalized US citizen. I believe Jim Carrey states he has dual citizenship. Maybe Canada also has that liberal French standard. Interesting how the States exacts more allegiance while France doesn't.

I think where she was in her life at the time, BBT was the best and worst thing that could have happened to her. She was becoming seriously famous for living in a parallel universe via her life on the screen and off, and a lesser nut than BBT couldn't have handled it. She was as much a play thing for him, as he was this off the radar weird talented voodoo man/daddy for her. She could be wild, shocking, bold beyond belief with him, and he simply was amused by it.

When the changes started to occur internally for her (even before Maddox), she was able to look at her life with BBT and at least start to question her choices, and I think he sensed as much, and instead of fear of loosing her, I think he just became nervous that the fun was ending. Mad comes to them, and she really gets her eyes opened to just who BBT truly is, and I believe that made her take serious stock of her life; who she'd been letting into it, and what they had contributed or taken away. New Angelina was in, the BBT's of the world were out!

I always felt Brad was a nice guy, a sincerely nice guy, but hollywood. In my opinon, he and AJ both began their changes almost simultaneously. It's kinda weird now that I think about it, but as Brad was becoming less confined/controlled, Angelina was becoming more disciplined/self-restrained, and I think by the time they met, they were on equal footing so to speak. They balanced each other out. Before, I would have never put these two together, but now I can't imagine either of them with anyone else.

Totally agree. I have read some seriously evil things on why Angelina decided to become pregnant, but for every argument the haters come up with, there's one I can counter with. In the end, the woman didn't need his money (got her own) didn't need his sex ( was getting that when she wanted, and even if she wanted Brad, friends w/benefits probably could have worked out). Ditto on pretty much everything you said there. When I grew up, television ran a lot of old films that I could catch in repeats. But now it's syndication heaven with Law & Order. (I didn't watch those tv shows in the first place, I have no interest now.) So I can't recall of recent when Deliverance played on tv. Luckily there are DVDs and I should go down memory lane to refresh my mind of that film.

If Nicole Kidman had done MMS, I don't think there would have bee a "Bricole". Why? There's no way Brad would get involved with TOM CRUISE'S ex wife. (sloppy seconds) There has always been a rivalry between Brad & Tom and even today more than ever, with competing off screen lives. Tom can feel his popularity slipping a bit with his public antics and associations with a cult. Brad would probably gain a good friend in Nicole, but romance? NO. I don't see the chemistry. Nicole doesn't have good chemistry with men on screen. Even in "Eyes Wide Shut" costarring her "husband", it was chilly.

In addition I would hate it if Angelina did Ocean's 13. she has her own identity and her own franchise film, Lara Croft Tomb Raider. We all know Brad and just about everyone else in Ocean's 13 will phone in their performances. It's not that deep. I doubt the script will be one with fantastic plot twists, original heist scenarios, suspense, thriller, witty banter.... Please. Angie does not need to get caught up in that eye candy fluff piece.

I have really enjoyed reading all the posts about the possible marriage of BP-AJ and about the adoptions. I was just curious about the people who feel that they are already married, what would be their reasoning behind keeping it a secret? It just seems like they could have avoided the whole Italian wedding fiasco if that was the case. Best wishes to the family.

I really don't think Angie is going to be in the Oceans 13 movie. She is known for only accepting really strong parts and I can't imagine they could come up with a part like that with such a big ensemble. Thanks for the posts re: the marriage sleuthing. Interesting info. I think I posted awhile ago that my sister heard in Paris that they were married at the US Embassy there. She said people would yell to them on the street congratulations or "hey are you married now Brad?" and they would just smile or laugh. That was I think in March. 40 days would have been around march 18th or so from their first arrival date. So depending on when pics started to show the rings.....if it was after the 18th maybe then they could have been married there. When did the first Pics of the rings show up?

I seem to think and just my opinion...that if they were to have married they would have married before they came out publically with people magazine article and announced her pregnancy. That was January 11th it came out when they arrived in Santa Domingo. Jan 10th. Then they were back in California Jan 19th for Flying Lessons & the official name change. Then back again to Europe on the 23rd for Economic World Forum on the 27th and in Paris by Feb. 07. They have been there on & off till they left for Namibia. So Feb 7th - April plenty of time to have gotten married too. SO go figure.

Whatever their choices all I can wish for is their blessed event be

I think even for children born with dual citizenship, they have to choose. From what I remember, in 1973 a law was passed that stated that you couldn't have dual citizenship in the united states. I think it was 1973, because I was born just before the law was passed and my mother was married before it, but my father was naturalized after the law. So, ironically enough, in the eyes of the United States my American mother and I are the only French citizens, while my French father is not.

Of course, it matters not a bit because France doesn't care either way. He is actually thinking of retiring in France because of the health care situation here in the states. He and my mom would be fully covered there - not so much here.

Now, I could be completely mistaken about the law in 1973 or thereabouts, but I think my information is correct.

But really it's just a nitpick anyway, because if the other country doesn't care then it doesn't matter at all. I'm sure there are economic reasons for the US to care (taxes maybe?) though.

On a good Holiday season most resorts...African resorts are only half way booked. Visitors are more likely booked in hotels because it's cheaper. So let's see, the resort makes only half of what they are capable of. The govt taxes on that half and the money from taxes is spread to the usual areas: School, public housing, HOSPITALS and such. Now, the Pitts book the entire resort (I.e paying for the ENTIRE Resort, when they probably using at most ten rooms). The resort employees work less but still get paid, the Resort gets more income which means money from taxes is more and what does that mean for the HOSPITALS? I cheked in at the pittcenter.com and looked at Brad's last full lenth TV interview. That was with Diane Sawyer on Primetime. They were covering his trip to Ethiopia and was a one hour special. In this interview Diane Sawyer asked Brad, out of the blue, by the way, if he would ever consider adopting an Ethiopian child. he had nothing but loving words about the children and I can see why she asked. When the camera showed Brad's face, you could practically see the "wow ,what a beautiful idea" over his head. His eyes lit up
and he told her that it would be a selfeless beautiful thing to do.

Now this is what I'm trying to figure out: do you think Brad & Angie had any intentions of adopting in Ethiopia then? Did Diane Sawyer pick up on something? Or did Diane trigger the idea in his head? The airdate of the interview is crucial.

I think that this is the best news that I have seen on the net, next to Angie's role in Sin City. I dont know if my 2 cents make a difference but I could just envision her in that role. But I will give you this piece of info which comes from those as close to them as possible...They are doing great. Specially considering the fact that what should be one the most joyous occassions a couple can share has been so stressful do to the hounding of the paps.

As beautiful as both of these individuals are, they both have always been looking/wanting someone who loved them for what is essentially invisible to the eye. Not because of their looks or their achievements but for their essence. Someone who only saw the best and accepted the flaws because they understood that we all are a package deal. Who does not, in their heart of hearts, want someone who wants them for the right reasons ?

Angie has apparently had her hormonal moments but again the legacy of her father and trusst. She has never had a man who has loved he as Brad does... She has tried to push him away ; not because she wants him to leave but because she thinks that he too will leave or push her away. But she has realized that this is a man she can lean on and led all those security bars around her heart down. BTW.. her mother adores Brad has said that now she will die with peace in her heart because she knows that there is someone like Brad in her daughters life. At least that is what she has said to his mom....

It makes scence on so many different levels why they are where they are. It is when they were on location there that Brad realized he was in love with Angelina... It was in Africa that they consummated their feelings for each other... Nature is where Brad feels at home in. After all that is what his neck of the woods is all about... I also recognize that Angelina has grown to the level that she understand that it is only when we are close to nature that we are truly appreciative of our Maker.

I truly believe that if God has a gender, it is female. For why else would she share the gift of creation with the female gender? And if we are to believe the Leakey family, Africa is where man began... The symbolic meaning of their choice of where they want their child to be born speaks volumes about not only the depth of each individual but how connected their souls are and how devoted they both are to their children. Those children may look different but they will always have Africa to bind them as one.

Maddox was delivered to Angelina in Africa, Z is a child of Africa. This child/children will be born in Africa.. Perhaps that is where conception came about. How in the world can any thinking person not respect and/or be impressed by the depth of emotional intelligence of this couple? isn't that what God wanted for all us ? I truly believe that if God has a gender, it is female. For why else would she share the gift of creation with the female gender? And if we are to believe the Leakey family, Africa is where man began... The symbolic meaning of their choice of where they want their child to be born speaks volumes about not only the depth of each individual but how connected their souls are and how devoted they both are to their children. Those children may look different but they will always have Africa to bind them as one.

Maddox was delivered to Angelina in Africa, Z is a child of Africa. This child/children will be born in Africa.. Perhaps that is where conception came about. I am soo sorry I am being constantly interrupted but I will be free to post later-This is my opinion but I DO NOT THINK THEY ARE IN NAMIBIA-This is why:Of course they want privacy-The place is booked for 10 weeks, do we expect them to stay inside for 10 weeks? why is it we saw NO evidence of them arriving (even ging to a private airport?) Even if people arrange an adoption independent of an agency, a public or private agency still must conduct an investigation and home study.

Stepparent adoptions take place by way of a different procedure. A county clerk, probation officer, or another employee of a county welfare department makes a study and report about the circumstances of the adoption, and provides a consent form that the adopting parent and the parent relinquishing custody must sign.

Finalizing the Adoption
Once the applicants have been approved to be adoptive parents and to adopt a particular child, the child is placed in the home on a tentative basis. Maybe the parents and siblings along with the couple's business associates are coming out to be with them when the birth takes place. They would want their own circle with them at that time. Outsiders would really be an intrusive element that they don't need. Paps and reporters could disguise themselves as guests and then where would they be? Splashed all over the tabs.

Interesting. I wonder if that's less looked at if it's two adopting, and one is younger than 40. I doubt seriously any issue would arise about Brad being over 40 either. I read some on another site (you know the one) are insisting that Brad isn't adopting the kids, and only giving them his name. I think it's ridiculous to not believe it, but with some people, they aren't going to budge from their negative opinions, and belief that Angelina is evil incarnate, and Brad is under her thumb/spell and she would never give him that power of being an equal legal parent to the children.

I think this is only useful information if the child isn't already adopted. I believe what BP is doing is making a legal petition to become the adoptive father of someone else's children, so ALL of this stuff is not going to apply. I believe all he needs is the permission of the legal parent to adopt - and the court's permission, of course.

I have a divorced friend who has a son. The boy's father is a ubiquitous "deadbeat dad" and really hadn't had much to do with the boy in years. She later remarried and after a few years her second husband adopted the boy and they had his name changed. Bear in mind that this is Missouri, but I can't imagine Cali law being much different. She had to put the notice in the paper about the adoption in case the biological father wanted to protest the adoption. Of course the cretin didn't. She and her second hubby were visited by Children's Services on 2 or 3 occasions to check out the home environment, but that was it. Once they were satisfied that things were kosher at home, the adoption went through without a hitch.

Namibia does not want to be looked upon as a charity case. Its wants you to spend your money just like you spend your money at Disney. The money helps Namibian people and Brad and Angie being there helps promote the country to people who might question going to Africa. I am willing to bet over this year there will be an increase in request from tourist to Namibia.

Moi Jade, I'm sorry, but I'm also less inclined to take anon's posts as coming from someone "in the know." What I do feel is that they've taken the same information available to anyone with a computer and an IP, mixed that with what they would personally like to imagine is the story, and preceded to come up with something that feels real "to them".

Moi Jade, I've been around this blog for a while now and I know there are 2 of them, but s/he needs to start differentiating her/himself if they want to be believed. The two "anons" have very similary writing styles, so it's not hard to get them mixed up.

As you noted, people can choose to believe or not, but people shouldn't make blanket statements like s/he did in the previous post when you KNOW there's more than one person using the same nickname. If this "anon" knows things and there are two posters with the same name, then it would behoove him or her to change their name to reflect that s/he is NOT the obnoxious hater "anon". Otherwsie s/he will always run the risk of people like me speaking their mind and calling them to task for trying to sound important when they really don't know anything more than the rest of us.

If you don't believe her that is your choice but to call what she says is cow manure and judge her a liar is unfair. You don't know. It is just your speculation and based on your limited information.

I thought maybe it was just the cynic in me coming through, but honestly, there's so much crap out there about BAMZ now that if it's not a direct quote from a legitimate AND reputable news source...I don't believe it. For instance, I love Laineysgossip.com. Lainey usually has gossip that proves to be true later, but I don't believe what I read unless it's later verified. Then she gets to pat herself on the back and crow over how she wasn't making her stories up. Good for her. But, she's also sticking her neck on the line by hosting a website with her name on it and she's not hiding behind a nickname on a blog.

Let me ask you this - You said your husband associates with famous people through his work as a musician and that he sometimes shares stories/information with you. How would these people feel if they found out you were on the internet telling their business on a fan blog or a website? Would they be inclined to work with or tell your husband things again? I wouldn't think so.

That's my sticking point with Anon. She says she knows things and maybe she does. If she does, then I have to wonder if the person telling her knows she's out on the internet sharing that information with an untold number of people? How would they feel if they found out? Or what if she's embellishing what they're telling her? Wouldn't you think they'd be inclined to stop telling her things? I mean, she's been intimating things for quite a while now. I would guess the person either doesn't know that she's telling or doesn't care. And that's the way that gossip gets out of hand. (Then again, I'm here reading it -even if I don't believe it - so it's not like I've got a whole lot of room to talk!)

You are right I don't know for a "fact" that s/he telling the truth. What I am saying is mostly speculation and opinion and some inside info. I am just stating that it is unfair to judge it as "cow manure" and disregard it entirely as false. Yea, I happen to think perhaps she is being honest. That is my choice. I am not saying you or anyone else has to. Please don't blanket me under a "we" who "calls people liars all the time." I can just relate from a vantage point you may not that's all. But for some of us where we don't always stand that far from the source of gossip our reality might be different than yours.

I also know a physician, who is a very good friend of mine as well, whose parents are close to the Pitts circle of friends. There was a divorce of one of Brads brothers best friends. Not really a point of gossip, just family and friends relating news about people who are real to them.

Anon stated she is not personally connected to the Pitts. Her ex husband is. So I see her as an outsider with a connection via a past relationship and gets her information from him who is still connected. I am willing to venture that they don't have the kind of lives that would spend times on J2 investigating.

I think most of the people here are hiding behind anonymity of a nickname.
Like I previously stated I wouldn't blog about my husband's confidences based on my respect for him and my association as well. However anon might not have that kind of loyalty to her ex husband as he is not part of her life anymore. She just might not have( and this is speculation on my part) an invested reason to
keep information completely to herself or within her family anymore.

Again re: anon (speculation again on my part) .....She just might also be like some of us that once we start reading a negative post we don't finish it and scroll on by. Hi Stef. Can't get enough of Brad Pitt. Bit of a late comer, u know. Didn't even knew enough of him till I watcched Mr and Mrs Smith on DVD ... around January of this year. From then on I got hooked.

I bought other DVDs like Ocean 11,12, Mexican, Legends.., Snatch, Fight Club. I have been wanting to buy others like Rivers ..., Meet Joe.., Thelma and Louise. Unfortunately in my place, they are out of stock.

I so agree with you, Anon. I am also a late comer to the Brad Pitt bandwagon. I had been aware of him since Thelma & Louise, but I was never much of a fan. In fact, I liked Leo Di Caprio for a while (since Titanic, of course) and Hugh Jackman (in the X-men movies and Someone Like You). I even argued with my boss about Meet Joe Black which he loved but which I found boring (back then). But when Brad hooked up with Angelina and I watched M&MS in the movie theaters (which I seldom do, seeing as I hate people talking in theaters) I really got hooked on Brad Pitt. And then I watched Legends of the Falls -- and now I have no room except for Brangelina. I even watched Angie's terrible Life or Something Like It, and Lara Croft: Cradle of Life, just because I am enamored of this duo. My family knows now not to bother me when I am reading JustJared weblog, and anything to do with BAMZ+1. Sigh, what a lovely family!!!!

Home for the weekend and wisdom teeth removal so while everyone is at Mass I have been sitting here in bed and Mom's laptop reading all these posts on Jared. I have a question for you three individuals. Actually more than one. Are you females? I observed many different pattern of behavior here. But the one that I would like to address is the question as to why are women so vicious to each other? When there is no one of the so called "trolls" posting here to bait you: why do you turn on each other ? Is it so much easier for a woman to try to tear another down than it is to build her up? You responded to #215 anon exactly as those you refer to as being "haters" react to your so call factual informative posts. You protest the unfair judgment of this couple by the non-supporters yet it exactly what you have done to "anon"? Why? And what does it say about you and your agenda on this comment page? Personally, if I was Brad and Angelina I wouldn't want such fickle fans supporting me. If you can turn on someone who supports your side without justification, then one can deduce that you will also turn on Brad and Angie just as quickly.

I am a first year law student at the University of Texas -Austin. We had our spring break last month and now back to the grindstone. Not everyone has their springbreak at the same time unfortunately . I have known most of my friends since pre-school but we all go to different colleges. So, we look forward to school breaks to get together.

I have not read all the different threads. I did note a "rude dog" who is posting as we speak on another thread. But no, I have no plans on making this a habit. I only got on because my Mom is a somewhat regular here. She has shared some of the posts that she has submitted as well as read. There is nothing on tv so here I am. lol I was only responding to what I observed.

Since I was a young child, I have been told that my mind works like the mind of an attorney. I was called "Little Ms. Loophole". LOL

However I know that I will not be a rich lawyer because I was raised with a parent who taught us about respect , and values. That one often does things not because you want to , but because it is the right thing to do. And that what matters most in life are those things that we can't see or buy.

It is only this past year that we found out that my dad has not paid any child support or any of our expenses since he left . I want to tell her how proud and grateful we are that she chose to do what was right for us. But, she has always told us that what went wrong was only between her & pop so it had nothing to do with us so she has yet to share any of that with any of us--even my oldest brother!

I can really understand why she respects Angelina . One awesome mom recognizes another one. I know why she likes Brad.

Stef, Austin is an awesome place for so much , specially the arts. Should you find yourself in my neck of the woods, ask Jared to contact me and I will have him fwd my contact address. I have friends who are in the same field as you are here at the University and elsewhere. I will also have my Mom contact you here. She has been so involved in everything that has "volunteer" opportunities, that she knows people in high places and also in low places.

I was involved in a program "Odyssey of the Mind" (don't know if it is still called that.) I know that GB was represented during the world competitions that we participated in. Mom coached us for years so she is also familiar with the theatre community in her metroplex.

i am traveling in decemeber to south africa, my mum ans step dad are emigrating over there, i entend to do some volenteer work there like my mum, she was over there last year for six months and the whole time she was helping to improve the childrens homes hospitals and even the animal welfare centres, i must say that is her speciality, she should have been a vet, and prob would have been if my sisters dad had not have been a idiot!
after africa i am going to hopefully do camp america as this will give me experience with kids and also the means for travel in america. and hopefully ill make friends that are likeminded who wsh to travel around. texas is on my most wanted list it always has been. i was talking to someone on here last night who is also from texas and i was saying hopefully its my first port of call!
after america i would like to go money permitting to oz as i am a closet surfer and just feel the need to say i have done it! to make my way home id like top hop form one country to another, i would like to go to a whole load of countries but it is all about money, sad isnt it!
i dont have to do it all in one go though so thats good.
i think it is great that your not in doing law for the money, they call that non profit lawyer or something, hey im just an actor! i tell you what though an acting course in no cruise, it sounds easy buth the written work really hard and the resourses are hard to get hold of, it doesnt help that im dyslexic so i have a harder time than others, however i dont let it hold me back. ive got where i am all by myself, ive made my mum proud, my dad is a waster in my eyes, he too like your dad has never paid my mum a penny he even faced jail for not paying but my mum being the lovely woman she is told the court she was not gong to see him in jail.
back on to what i do as he is not worth the chat! i must say i love what i do and will do it for life, im really lucky this summer i am performing at avery prestigous event "The Edingburgh Festival" lots of agents all come to see you perform, i can really put a performer into work so fingers crossed! i would like to perform and have teaching as a background to earn money to live. i am also really interested in a practitioners work where he works with children and adults who have been in bad situations, they act what has happen to them out and it helps to release the repressed feeling, i think angelina jolie experienced it on one of the entries in her book. they as refer to it as drama therapy.

Okay, I see where you're coming from. From my perspective almost everything that doesn't come from official channels is suspect. I think we all know people who know people who know someone famous. That seems to be the nature of the world these days. I have to really trust someone before I believe what they're telling me about another person. So, I don't mean my skepticism about Anon to be quite as harsh as it sounded. I'm just getting to the point where I'm fed up with the number of people who are willing to tell someone else's business. Yeah, I like to read the gossip as much as the next person, but in the case of BAMZ everybody has to know everything and then on top of that there's having to fend of the posters quoting all the tabloid crap.

Stef. we grew up with kids from all over the world , parking for a week , two weeks or a year with us. We call our Mom either La Reina, the queen or Earth Mother. She gets Mother;'s day calls from countless of our friends. So, she would love showing you around and "mothering " you. If you come in the late spring, summer there are countless festivals etc. going on in this area. The Hill country is the prettiest part of Texas. We all have a lot of Lakes nearby . Contrary to what the media likes to portray us as , we are not all hicks and definitely not backwards. Texas is an awesome place to be from. You will never meet any other group of individuals who are as friendly or generous. I hate Jessica Simpson,as do all my friends. She reflects the stereotype that people think about Texas.

Oh I guess the vicodin is starting to do its thing. I will ask my Mommy to make contact with you. That way you will have an alternate contact. I doubt I will be posting here after Tuesday as my life is too busy with no time for dealing with all the bs and head games that are being played with and against each other on this site. What does it matter if we're female or not? And for the record, you may call it "fickle" on our part, but I call it "consistent". Just because we agree about BAMZ doesn't mean we have to agree with each other about everything. We all have strong opinions and we state them that way. I don't take it personally and I sincerely hope that Moi Jade doesn't either.

As for turning on B/A? Well, I was a fan of AJ before they got together, so if you're going to worry for someone worry for Brad. Just kidding. The common mistake a lot of haters (and I'm not putting you in that category) make is in thinking that we have something invested in these 2 people that we will turn on someone if they break up. But, as a number of us have said, our world is still going to turn if they don't make it as couple. If they break up, then they break up. I'm still going to be a fan of some of their work. Unlike a lot of people I don't see every movie someone makes just because I like the actor. If it's a strong movie with a good premise, I'll go see it. If the premise doesn't appeal to me, I won't go see it.

Moi Jade, I appreciate the case you've stated but it still hasn't changed my opinion. I reiterate what planted the seed of doubt is knowing the lengths these people have gone to in protecting their privacy, and although I lean far closer to doubting, it really bugs me more their trust has been broken "even if they never learn of it."

I believe the fact that we can have disagreements amongst ourselves, speaks well about the kinds of people we are. We share something in common (we like AJ & BP) but we do have different minds and opinions. These things are bound to clash once in a while, it is how we handle the disagreements that matter. This is not the first time there has been a clash of will, the very first time it happened, someone mentioned that even when we fight we are still fine. To have everyone being completely uniform is akin to a cult or some sort of mind control thingy (sorry too relaxed to think).

I for one liked anon's post because that IS what I want to believe. I like these two and I want them to be happy in their immediate and extended family life. Imagining the two mothers talking and probably getting along brings a warm fuzzy feeling to my heart. Like Ive always said, I am a romantic....maybe even naively so.

I don't disagree with the warm-and-fuzzy aspects of anon's post at all. It's just the stating of of "facts" as she presents them. I'm with JPF on this. These 2 go to great lengths to protect their privacy and I actually think that's part of what's driven them to Africa for the birth of their child. It seems to me that they were merely biding their time in Paris for one reason or another and put up with being followed by the razzi because they knew that in the end things were going to be on THEIR terms and they'd be able to separate themselves from prying eyes. That's part of what makes me skeptical in thinking that either of their immediately families would talk out of turn to acquantainces about them. Skepticism and critical thinking are always good. Use your gut feelings and your logic to discern if something written anonymously has any bearing. Take everything with a grain of salt - or in my case a drop of soy sauce. Believe or don't believe. That's a choice we make when we read or hear anything. I remember when my boss would tell me the latest news stories, and I thought the details sounded so far-fetched the stories had to be hoaxes. And indeed, they turned out to be hoaxes. Hmmm, still determining if Jamie Curtis is a hermaphrodite. KIDDING!

And just because stories come out of the New York Times doesn't mean a reader should take the truth to be guaranteed. After all, the stories are written by reporters, who are humans tracking down the truth. The truth can be twisted depending on the sources; for that reason, fact-checking is extremely important. But journalism seems to have taken a hit, even of lately with the scandals at New York Times with reporters who falsify stories. We don't have to be reminded any further than with the name of Judith Miller, the Bush administration tool in cementing the lie about the weapons of mass destruction. Or Jayson Blair. To be sure, New York Times is still light-years better than Post Chronicle, National Ledger or even the National Review.

Me, I believe anon for unstated reasons. And I trust her. But it doesn't take me out of the cynic club - Oscar Wilde be damned. Yet, I realize stories get filtered down. This isn't a doubt of what anon says to be factual of how she heard them. I know this doesn't make a difference to the skeptics, but anon did reveal she was a regular and she indicated exactly where in the loop she was. Normally, I take anonymous postings with a great dripping of soy sauce, but I cut more slack for "regulars" with a consistent name and are known commodities.

Say, I'll believe what African Girl discloses because she does come off genuine and sincere - as opposed to a BS artist like Jess or the other morphing posters who treat regular names as mutations. Bottom line, it's just gossip - whether it's of celebrities or your neighbors or co-workers, what have you. Believing, not believing isn't going to affect one's life. Earth still revolves around the Sun. There are still 9 technically planets in the Milky Way galaxy. Oh, scratch that, Pluto may not be technically a planet and astronomers have discovered other planets beyond Pluto. There goes my model of the universe as I knew it.

It may seem strange the open channels that exist, but consider Lainey. Obviously, Lainey is getting feeds from sources in the camp (I tend to believe it's the Pitt camp); two rock, solid sources according to her. She knows those feeds serve a purpose in winning the battle of the image between Brad-Angie and Jennifer. Pre and post Brad-Jen, I wouldn't know the reason why people would ever want to put their business out there. Then again, I'm not in entertainment and couldn't survive for that reason: I wouldn't want my business bandied about, especially the unflattering, negative or deeply personal stuff. But I'm a private person, tempered by the personal disclosures that I feel won't compromise my privacy. Celebrities are a whole different breed of creatures with different needs and motives. For them, publicity - even in the form of gossip tidbits - serves a necessary purpose.

Apparently, Guy Ritchie's father is spilling the beans about the marriage between Guy and Madonna. He's telling the world they are having rough patches and even wondering if Guy really loves Madonna. Their marriage is held up by the children, according to him.

So, not all are that private. Hell, we hear of the familiar case of strangers in the next seat in an airplane talking to you and spilling all their inner secrets. Since you're stuck in the airplane, you have to listen to them. I've certainly encountered those people. My typical response is to just hear them out (I know, bad move). But, I don't share myself, as if I were in group therapy exchanging our individual stories. I recognize people have different degrees of how open they want to be. Some are open books, while others are locked crypts.

For lots of women, "Sex and the City" is a reflection of their lives of girlfriends chatting away about their sex lives. But for people in my life, that show doesn't represent them or me in their gabbing. Well, suffice to say, the shoe fetish already takes me out of that club. So I can't identify with them except for maybe Miranda's wisecrack cynicism, Charlotte's sense of style, Samantha's... Okay, so I can identify with those archetypes of woman more than I want to admit. But still, TOO MUCH INFORMATION!

Hah! This is all a fantasy. Believe what you want to believe to make yourself feel better because heck, you'll never know the truth anyway! I think that if what anon said makes sense to you then fine and if it doesn't then that's alright too. Preferably, people will criticize another's post using logic instead of in the heat of passion. But no matter what, it all makes for a lively debate one way or the other! I don't think I have heard one bad thing about Brad from anyone. Except perhaps that gossip that he has bad BO. But I don't believe this (or maybe I won't believe it). Anyway, it's nice to know that people are consistent. Just because someone happens to be on the "same side" shouldn't mean that we should suddenly change our criterias. If we are to be skeptical of a "true" story bashing/criticizing AJ or BP then we should be just as skeptical of one applauding them or else we might just be deluding ourselves.

us in that department. I don't feel Passing Through or JPF were "against" me....I just think we had different viewpoints that's all , and that should be OK. We all have BAMZ +1 in common as fans, but we all have different realities and vantage points as well.
Sometimes for me anyway, even through a blog you can sense something real or BS about someone. For me I just felt Anon was being sincere and real and I could see that because of my own life amongst celebrities. I think If I knew Bradley.....( Oh how I wish I could have sat on that toliet seat...just kidding...:) I probably would have done something similiar, Like Longhoen Law says, that's what you do for friends and family. It's all good.

Thanks Lonhorn Law for your post. I wish I could have caught you too. I catch babies for a living so my hours are pretty unpredictable. I am in Arizona. Not to far from the great state of Texas. Cowgirls rock!! Just wanted to tell you that I think your relationship with your mom too is pretty cool. My daughter would have done the very same thing.

First off, Hi to all BAMZ+1 FANS and not-fans but is equally obsessed about this family. LOL. Its going to be an in-&-out thing for me today…gotta do some errands.

In her nightline interview…she sort of implied that it was an accident. But I maybe interpreting it differently.

I think it was an accident for the ff:

1) Sometimes w/ a baby in the house, there’s a high probability that you’ll get pregnant so soon (maybe someone has a scientific explanation LOL).
2) IRRC after they picked up Z in Ethiopia (July) they all got sick except Maddox. Angie had gastroenteritis or some sort of a stomach problem and after Z was cleared from that NY hospital they flew to Ca immediately and moved in to Brad’s Malibu home. Angie had to take care of Z and Brad who were both recovering from an illness - that makes me think that even if she was on BC there’s a high probability it might not work as well as it should be or be as effective due to her illness and while recovering there’s the stress factor due to the speculation at that time when she and the kids moved in to his Malibu home w/c might have thrown her cycle off (some says ovulation might even be longer). So with, I’m thinking it’s towards the end of July conception or during that early August trip to Arizona.

With that time frame I've got a feeling she's due end of April or early May.
