I agree with you. Women should have their choices to decide
when and with who and at what time in their lives to have
children. No argument here. As women we should never forget
the fight and struggle so many women now in their 50's and 60's
did to make these choices a reality. Just to have birth control and/or to birth your baby with out being litterally knocked out at delivery or dragged down a hall to a cold sterile table without your man was an incredible struggle. Women deserve these choices to have control over their reproductive lives and not have to succumb to a life where those choices are made for them, much less on the other hand suffer or be discriminated because they want to be a sexual being of their choice and not procreate.

In the same breath, It is not right for others to criticize and
demean women because they choose to explore their
sexuality in alternative and different ways. These people that judge I believe are governed by the same
ideaology of ruling out abortion, bi sexuality, lesbians and having
more than 1 or 2 partners in one lifetime.

Unfortunately both AJ and JA are representitive of two dividing sides on the sexuality issue. Jolie gets trashed unmercifully for her sexual exploration as a young woman. JA was never a big enough star that her adventures were really documented much. We saw her personal life more in depth once she married Brad Pitt. People rag on AJ all the time too. This is just the nature of celebrity life and how people project their own sexua and politicall beliefs on to others and then judge it.

Yes it is Wrong. The only woman anyone should ever judge is her own self. Each woman comes into her adult life with her own story and her own experiences and makes her decisions (hopefully but not always) for herself. Wether it is having 7 children, having an abortion, using birth control, having a tubal ligation, adoption, choices as results of having been raped or sexually abused, married 5 times, remaining a virgin,..there are so many options for an incredibly wide variance of life experiences and culture, tradition and options. So yes to each his own. Just because it is not right for one doesn't mean it is not right for another.

This magazine cover is just another attempt to keep the confusion going.....influence minds and for us hopefully create conversation and discussion without all the name calling and belittling.
I hope people don't take it to seriously. Again it is a "Tabloid" "shocker" aimed at getting a rise out of it's readers and viewers. But hopefully will stimulate a good discussion that results with women remembering how lucky they are to have these choices.

I don't get what you are implying. In my opinion, the reason why there is a shushing as you put it, is because of the nasty words been used. You say you've been reading the comments for a while, if so you'd have noticed that not everybody really enjoys the name calling....bitch, whore, dried up egg woman, and whatever else is been used. I just want to comment on the closing the beach thing. If they had rented the whole resort and they had an agreement with the management that the beach in front of the resort be off limits for the duration and the management agreed, what is so wrong there?

I am sure that the resort is not occupying the whole beach front so there should be more than enough room for the rest of the town to enjoy. This couple paid for the privilege of having the resort hotel to themselves. They have a the right to ask that property be off limits to those not invited.

How do you tell the paps from the locals? What if the locals had cameras and take shots that they could sell to the press? You know that would surely happen if the price was good enough.

If the management had asked the locals to please stay away from the resort beach until the guests have left, then that is their right as property owners.

There are other areas. A beach is a beach. There's just a lot of sourpusses who won't agree just to disagree.

I agree with you too for the most part. BAMZTERS will stand up

rightfully so. I think if I ever needed a crew to stand up for me I
would not be hesisitant to call on these woman to debate and
articulate a defense.....especially because most are well read, well

Sinking slowly and then trying now with the help of her established "Friends" to help resusitate the situation. Ya know it's like in the hospital here when we resusitate someone.......despite our efforts there are still secondary insults to other organs that require extensive interventions and just because the heart is still beating it doesn't mean that person can still survive on it's own without a lot of help and resources. Best to keep yourself healthy before you overdose on anything......

The resort where they rented all the rooms is a different resort
than where they are now. I love BAMZ+1, but if they are

Brangelina's rights shouldn't be greater than anyone else's

I'm having a very hard time with this report mostly because it just doesn't seem to be Angelina/Brad's modus operandi, and if there is any truth to part or all, then it sounds like the situation is in a place of damned if they do, damned if they don't regarding their safety. They were welcomed with open arms, and with the understanding that all would be done to help maintain their privacy, and that DID come from the head honcho the week of their arrival.

IMO all went smooth until the pap's started slipping in under the wire, and I think (if reports are true) that it caught Jolie-Pitt's security off guard (no pun) and it came down to attempting to nip that in the bud via possibly infringing on the rights of the citizens and once again, If there is any truth to the story, I personally think the responsibility should fall on the shoulders of the town authorities who sound like they've possibly been so busy chasing the dollars the Jolie-Pitt's have injected into the local economy that they've allowed the townspeople's rights to be usurped. JMHO

Any Brangelina news is big news. When it's bad news, it's even better for the magazine or tabloids. I am from Africa and beaches are big enough for people to play. If a small portion has been given out to Brad and Angie who are seemingly working with the government of Namibia for privacy, I would say the reports are written in bad taste, and mostly for exploitation so that papers can sell.

I think it is absulately wonderful that they have a beautiful international family. They seem loving and caring. Believing Angelina to be more reasonable than a biased press, I still think that if the management hasn't had a hand in it, nothing that is being done in the name of privacy or security could be accomplished. Would you as a resort owner not say anything when your guests start making changes in your policies as soon as they arrive? Not even in third world countries could you do that.

Several stories that have come from 'alleged locals' have been suspicious looking as the same person has contacted multiple tabs with the same story. It has been speculated that the "local" actually works for the tab. Plus the tabloid where the photographer who got pepper sprayed works put out a similar "angry" locals story. Unless it has been reported in a reputable newspaper or news source, I wouldn't believe all of these stories out on the internet about B&A.

Why? For the same reason that you believe the media is the one that's right. I chose to give Brangelina the benefit of the doubt. You choose to condemn. We will never agree on anything until one of us is proven right. I guess, we'll just have to wait and see. Maybe we'll hear more later on.

I still maintain though that nothing could have been accomplished without the agreement between management and the couple. The management must have assured them of privacy for their money. A & B are paying for the security, not the resort, but that still would have been in conjunction with their prior agreement or the couple wouldn't have stayed there.

The management should be the one responsible for the backlash from the locals if there really is any. They are the ones who live there and would know more about whose rights and privileges are being abused. And as I said, that is the price of doing business. You have to take the bad with the good.

Frankly I AM surprised at all the controversy this faux mag cover has caused here. It's funny in a "Oh my god, I can't believe they said that!" way. When I started reading all the reactions I couldn't believe how many people were offended by it. This definitely looks like something SNL would've done back in the day and ended the sketch with, "...And Generalissimo Francisco Franco IS STILL DEAD!"

Just a personal observation, but I think some ppl are taking the "Aniston: empty" comment a little too seriously. Clearly that's just a satirical magazine cover that someone photoshopped and doesn't really exist. And I think thats as far as it should be taken--its not like that was printed across the front page of the New York times or something, maybe not the best analogy, but I hope you get my point. This is just a gag and shouldn't be taken to such lengths as to spark serious debates over sexism etc. I mean common we're on a blog for pete's sake

Moreover, about all the rumors swirling around Brangelina in Namibia, from what I heard on "Extra" they were erecting that cloth barrier to stop the paps from walking up on the beach and taking pictures. The shield looks to encompass the outside of the resort, not take up the whole beach (be logical people, to take up the whole beach and thus prevent people from using it, the barrier would have to extend all the way to the water's edge, which it does not) and if one were to consider how far back the resort sits from the shore, it would be rather impossible to section off the whole area---so that story is preposterous.

So according to the "Extra" report, the barrier was going up to stop the paps from sneaking onto the property, they had photos (belonging to the same bunch that show Brad with his mohawk) that showed a member of their security crew (he's the guy in the green shirt) chasing down a pap and macing him! Then they said Brad reprimanded him because he did it in front of Maddox.

Also, they had a statement from Angelina's bodyguard Mickey (somethingerother) which said something to the effect that he would kill any pap that was caught trying to sneak into the resort. The threat was longer than that and was laced with expletives, but it sounded like he meant business.

You are certainly entitled to cling tightly to that view, but from my POV trash will always be trash and easily recognized. While well illustrated and well written satire will be appreciated most often by those of higher intelligence, regardless of the target,...or the political, social or religious views of the reader.

.Twice a year ,Daytona 500 and pepsi 400 speed weeks are held here.Residents are subjected to closed roads,crazy traffic patterns,Shopping malls near the racing complex are closed too. Who wants to go shopping when it will take hours for what normally is a 15 mins. trip.Also following these races are the Bike week and biketoberfest.
Some bridges and beachside streets will only allow bikers. Between these events are the spring breaks,black reunion week and turkey runs. Residents are up in arms !Imagine more than100,00 of bikers thundering along local roads, teen breaker passing out drunk on someones yard. CIty council said they bring money to Daytona, and nearby cities. Who ever is running the place in Namibia where BAMZ are staying threw the welcome mat for them not realizing that along with the money they bring, there will be security and safety issues for their famous guests and for the paps that are now perhaps camping in the bushes nary a thought of the wildlife around them.Hopefully after birth they all be gone. HOLLYWOOD superstars Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are thinking
of giving their baby a Namibian name and have confirmed
speculation that the birth will take place in the Southern African
country.

The celebrity couple revealed their plans during a breakfast on
Friday with the Governor of Namibia's Erongo region, Samuel
Sheefeni Nuuyoma. Speaking afterwards, the starstruck governor
said Jolie, 30, had made the decision because "she loves Namibia".

"They are having the baby here and they talked about giving the
child a Namibian name," he said.

The baby is said to be due next month and Jolie has been
overheard saying that the couple "think it's a girl, but we're not
100% certain".

The stars -- who flew into Walvis Bay from Paris early last week
aboard a private jet -- have spent much of the past two weeks
hopping from one luxury Namibian game lodge to another, despite
Jolie's advanced pregnancy.

Jolie is said to have fallen in love with Namibia when she starred in
the 2003 film Beyond Borders, which was shot there. She is still
remembered for the day she bought 2 000 pizzas to thank the
film's extras and dished out T-shirts to them.

Pitt, 42, Jolie and their adopted children Maddox, 4, and one-year-
old Zahara, spent the latter part of this week holed up at the
Burning Shore Lodge in Langstrand, an enclave of ghastly
mansions and kitsch villas halfway between Swakopmund and
Walvis Bay -- dubbed "Legoland" by the locals.

The family is said to have booked out the lodge for 10 weeks at a
cost of R1.5-million. Their security have dug in, erecting a green
shade-cloth barrier to shield the lodge's garden from view. At
night, giant spotlights illuminate the beach and surrounding

But the paparazzi have been undeterred, simply finding new
angles and hiding places.

In recent days the area has become the scene of a stand-off
between bodyguards, the press and residents. As tensions
escalated, Fight Club finally came to the beachfront.
On Thursday Brett collared a Sunday Times reporter drinking
coffee at the Langstrand Restaurant.

The conversation began predictably: "I'm going to break your
f***in' neck," he growled, his left cheek twitching.

"If I find anyone gettin' [a picture of] her [Jolie], I will f***ing
smash someone to pieces. I'm not joking. I'll f***ing put
someone in hospital, I ain't joking. Tell your friends, if they think

local security team that is said to include at least one former
member of the notorious Koevoet counter-insurgency unit. The
apartheid killing machine cut a swathe of destruction across
Namibia during the bloody bush war of the '80s and committed
some of the worst atrocities of the conflict.

Namibian immigration officials have also been helping the
bodyguards in their efforts to intimidate the press. On two
occasions a Sunday Times reporter was quizzed about his reasons
for being in the country and whether he had a work permit.

"People are doing illegal things with long lenses on the beach," the
official said, adding that it was unlawful to "photograph couples".

For days Brett remained one step ahead of the paparazzi. Using
different vehicles, planes, airports and charter companies he
managed to slip the couple past the waiting photographers.

Pitt even reportedly managed to race his beloved Ducati
motorcycle unnoticed along the trans-Kalahari highway.

On Thursday last week the family flew to the ultra-luxurious
Okonjima Lodge, halfway between Windhoek and the Etosha
National Park. Their plane left Swakopmund's airport at 3.37pm.
The lodge, which is home to the AfriCat Foundation, a non-profit
organisation committed to the conservation and rehabilitation of
cheetahs and leopards, was described last year by Hello!
magazine as an "experience of a lifetime".

The family returned to Langstrand unnoticed.

On Monday Pitt went quad-biking on the desert dunes near
Swakopmund, at the Desert Explorers Adventure Centre. Sources
said Jolie and Zahara watched as Pitt and Maddox tore across the
desert, a cloud of dust trailing behind them. The centre has
declined to comment.

The following day, the family slipped off to the Harnas Wildlife
Foundation and Guestfarm. Jolie is the foundation's patron.

Broiling in the desert sun, the paparazzi became increasingly
disheartened. Then the Sunday Times received a "hot tip" that led
the paper to the secret of Brett's success and the exclusive
pictures published today.

Avoiding the airports at Walvis Bay and Swakopmund, which were
by now riddled with informants, he had driven his charges to a
desolate airstrip near a uranium mine at Arandis, 50km from
Swakopmund. It was there that Jolie had filmed some of the
scenes from Beyond Borders, "an epic tale of the turbulent
romance between two star-crossed lovers set against the
backdrop of a war-torn African country".

For three hours, Sunday Times photographer Richard Shorey hid
in a culvert near the airport apron and waited. The temperature
climbed to nearly 40°C. Finally a plane dropped slowly out of the
sky. On the tarmac, Jolie swept up Zahara, the Ethiopian orphan
she adopted less than a year ago. Her face lit up with joy as she
hugged the little girl. Cambodian-born Maddox was asleep, and
Pitt carried him gently to the waiting Land Cruiser. Pitt and his
son wore matching haircuts and bracelets.

Brett came within metres of the sweating photographer's hidey-
hole, but failed to see him.

Then as quickly as they had come, they vanished again.

Provincial governor Nuuyoma said he wanted his guests to feel "at
home and free". "Namibia is a country where everyone has the
right to freedom of movement and they must not feel inhibited
when they visit this beautiful country of ours."

Clarification on the poll. I'm sure there are people who like AJ and BP also like JA. I just found that to like one person means that person is stupid is a little bit extreme and I hate to say it, but delusional itself. It speaks loudly of the person who wrote the comment in the first place. I can choose to like JA or I can choose not to and that is my perogative. So to simply say, you're a delusional idiot for liking X, really says nothing. It all boils down to a matter of personal taste and preference. Just like if I like to eat carrots and someone doesn't. See what I mean by what I said earlier that people find this funny? Strange that in this day and age, we still call women "whores" for doing what men get a pat on the back for. With little to back up the claim even. I find it perplexing because for the most part, these comments are coming from women. I'm sure this will continue, things are what they are.

I have heard of NASCAR but the difference is that's a pre-existing
event that has been going on for quite some time so if people
don't want to deal with the craziness and noise of NASCAR, then
they don't have to live there. Brangelina chose to come to a place
and if the story is to be believed have caused unexpected
disruption. Sure it's temporary, but let's say some of those
people's stays there are temporary, then their whole vacation gets
disrupted. If the story is true, some residents are irritated and
saying well Brangelina is bringing money to the region so they just
have to deal with it, is the same as saying Brad and Angelina are
famous so they just have to deal with the paps. It's unfortunate
for everyone, if the story is true.

I hope Brangelina and their newborn get all the privacy they need
and I also hope the residents are treated civilly--if the story isn't

Yeah, I know why she never mentions VV - he's not famous enough to do her any good. I know she was with BP for 7 years and she was used to using his name to gain entry into places in H'wood that her name couldn't get her into, but it's been almost 16 months since they announced the split and he still comes up in every interview. Considering what tht situation was African Girl, I don't know that Aniston really owed it a lot of dignifying. There were, after all, pictures of her husband with another woman in some pretty revealing and hurtful photos splashed all over the tabs. (And for now I'm only referring to the ones that came out during the filming of MAMS).

Personally, I became a fan because I thought she was more dignified that she needed to be given the situation. So, o.k. she made a few jokes. She even shed a few human tears. this is a just a satire. By calling JA empty, the satire is not
bashing at Women’s Rights at all. I’m in my mid-twenty and I
may be one of these women who’s going to choose career over
babies, I just don’t know, but I have the OPTION and the RIGHTS
to choose. I didn’t feel offended at all by the satire; no one should.
I actually had a good laugh, so thanks JJ. There is a lot of high-
profiled women out there, Oprah and Diane Sawyer for example,
who chose not to have kids and concentrate on their career. No
one with a brain will call these women EMPTY, because it’s a
woman’s rights to decide for her own destiny. So, why is it OK to
call JenA empty? I’ll tell you why!

We have a woman, JA, that’s clearly favoring her career over
children. No problem with that, except that SHE’S NOT BEING
HONEST about it. In her infamous Vanity Fair interview, she
reportedly said that she WANTED to have kids with Brad, but said
that when she was ready, Brad wasn’t emotionally available
(because he was already emotionally cheating, no wonder why).
So, when exactly she was supposed to be ready? At the end of her
sitcom Friends.
FACT: She signed up to star in 5 movies before Friends ended.

We all know that, for at least two years before the end of their
marriage, the bad press and tabloids were going crazy over Brad
wanted kids, Jen wanted to concentrate on her career and so on.
They were rumors saying that Brad completely renovated their
home and made a beautiful nursery.
FACT: Even with that hurtful context for Brad, she went on
“Saturday Night Live” (NATIONAL TV) and joked about the
children issue. OUCH.

FACT: After 7 years with a guy who is clearly made for fatherhood,
JenA’s womb= EMPTY.

FACT: Angie is with the same man for, let’s say, less than two
years. = Angie’s womb = gigantic.

FACT: She’s (JA) screaming to the top of her lungs to the whole
world (VF interview, at Oprah’s show, etc) that she wants children
= JenA is 37, with several movies projects now and in the future
= JenA’s womb = EMPTY and will remain EMPTY for a while.

The satire about JenA being EMPTY is only about A WOMAN, who’s
shutting at us over and over and over again that she wants kids,
that children weren’t an issue in her divorce. That woman had had
ALL the occasions in the world to be pregnant or to adopt
(because we know now that Brad is really OK with adoption) but,
for some reasons, her womb is still empty and was never full.

It’s more than OK for a woman to choose her career over family
and kids. But, by saying something (I want kid), and acting totally
differently (she is clearly concentrating on her career right now),
JenA makes it look so wrong for a girl to choose career over kids.

So please, guys, don’t bring the Women’s Rights issue with this
satire, it has nothing to do with it.

That is one of the smartest things I've read. This whole idea that Brad went after Angelina because she's hot and YOUNGER! Crazy! In many ways Angelina is way older than many of us including Brad IMO. She's an old soul and has really been through a lot and come through it intact.

Brad's attraction to Angelina, other than physically of course, is that she seems almost the polar opposite of his ex wife. He connected to the type of woman Angelina has become. Let's face it, Brad could have his pick of women who are even younger and less contoversial than Agnelina and blonder, tanner and more California than his ex wife. But he went for Angelina. As I mentioned in my post yesterday, I think Brad has been orchestrating things from way back. He took stock of the reality of his marriage and took matters in his own hands. He made a lot of noise all last year dropping hints here & there about what he wants in life. He has said before in interviews, in order to make things happen, you've got to make them happen.

Nice and civilzed thought. They share the managers (Huvane brothers?) and workplace (Hollywood) so I am sure there will keep a courteous professional connection.

On a personal level, there aren't much left to connect them, is there. For the better or worse, children DO connect divorced couples, which they don't have. Brad has been inseparable with his new wife and his kids.

After being publicly accused of his "sensitivity chip missing" I'm sure Brad would feel awkward seeing her. Usually men don't like to be in an awkward situation and honestly I can't imagine him seeking her out in the near future.

Huh #323, don’t worry for me, I know how to read and I’ve read
all the posts before the one I posted, so I didn’t miss any salient
points. I understand why some people are offended, but I wasn’t.
Why? Because, for me it was just a satire and, a satire is, by
definition, “the use of wit, especially irony, sarcasm, and ridicule,
to attack the vices and follies of humankind”. For me, this satire
was only to ridicule the way the public was obsessed with what
was “inside” celebrity’s. The only reason I posted on the
EMPTYNESS comment is because I felt the need to explain MY
POINT of view on the fact that, by referring that JenA was empty
didn’t mean that all those women who choose career over kids are
empty, because I’M ONE OF THEM (or probably going to be).
That’s all.

You see, I UNDERSTAND that some felt offended by the fact we
were referring to pregnancy and wombs as deflated, full, gigantic,
empty. It CAN sure be insulting for SOME and I’ve read all these
posts, but I didn’t reply to those. WHY? Because I CAN IMAGINE
what they felt when they first saw this “fake-magazine cover”, but
I also UNDERSTAND that I took these pictures in a DIFFERENT
level. If it was a “SERIOUS” article in the front page of the
Washington Post, or the New York Post, I’ll be insulted. But, for
me it was just a satire in the front cover of a non-existent
magazine.

I take that back, I saw one where AJ is wearing a godawful red & white dress and she was leaning against BP and the caption said it was taken after the scene was shot and not during the scene. It didn't look damning to me, but I think the Enquirer may have sold a few extra issues because of it. I consider reading the tabs in the grocery store to be a major source of entertainment while waiting my turn in the checkout line, but I must've missed these photos. beachnd big run-ins with all the local residents. . Even if it were true, we have not heard the full story. So far, we've heard all sorts of crap from the tabs and media about
the Jolie Pitt's apartment in Paris, (turns out it was fine), Jolie's
mother flying to Paris, (only in spirit), Brad has walked out on
Jolie, (he's with Jolie in Namibia enjoying holidays), he's sleeping
on the couch (is Mr Pellicano around?)

The truth is, all media manipulate facts and don't necessarily tell it like it is. I'm not accusing all of malice (though I firmly believe that tabloids are just malicious). Just a huge difference if I describe something as "large" or "humongous", "deliciously rounded" or "fat". I've seen "reputable" media exaggerate and manipulate the news (for example, CNN's reporting about international aid to Katrina Victims), etc.. Frankly, any information obtained from the media - even reputable ones with a pinch of salt. By all means, watch CNN but do switch to other news channels for different points of view such as: BBC, Channel News Asia and other news channels besides CNN. It will give you a better perspective of the world.

If you want serious reporting you DO NOT go to CNN which is progaganda station.

Hey AG, I think anybody who wants to answer the question should go ahead. Lord knows I've laughed at more inappropriate things that this faux magazine.

I thought that toy thing was funny, too. It just goes to show how narrow-minded some people are when it comes to the roles men and women should play in relationships. Here's an example that cracked me up when I heard the story - once my mother went to visit one of my brothers who was living in Houston at the time. He does the grocery shopping and cooking for he and his wife. So my mother goes with him and he's going through the store getting the stuff on the list - lettuce, tomatoes, ground beef, napkins, spaghetti, tampons... So, they get in the feminine hygiene isle and my mother (very old school) is about to die of mortification. My brother's standing there going, "Let's see, OB, Kotex, Tamp...what the hell does that say? Is that Tampex or Tampox?" If my mother could've melted into the floor she probably would have. My mother said people were going by them and giving them strange looks. She thought it was because he was in the tampon isle. I thought it may have been because they probably looked like Mutt and Jeff. My brother's 6'5" and built like a linebacker, my mother was 5'4" and shrinking. My mother finally chokes out, "What are you doing? Are you going to buy those?" My brother says, "Yeah. They're on the list. Oh, I see the ones she wants, it's TampAx!" That's when the poor guy found out they come in regular, super and super-duper. He doesn't know the difference so he has no clue what to buy, but by this time Mr. Sensitive has FINALLY become aware of how uncomfortable my mother is and asks her what's wrong. My mother says, "Oh my goodness! I'd never ask your father to do anything like this!!" And my brother keeps going, "But it's on the list!" A week or so later my mother comes home and she's tell me and my sisters this story and we we're all just rolling. My poor mother was truly mortified that my 26 year-old MARRIED brother knew about tampons...and we were all laughing our heads off. I think she's still mad at us to this day. Meanwhile I call my brother to give him shit about it and all he can say, "What? THEY WERE ON THE LIST!" Men, even when they do something right they still get in trouble for it. You can please your wife or you can please your mother, but you're generally not going to please both at the same time!

On the matter at hand, I cannot even recognize Brad's voice in his singing. But he managed to pull it off, even with the gruffy Tom Waites growling. I've heard Brittany Murphy sing and you can hear her speaking voice. Not with Brad. I guess with all the tricks in a recording studio even I could sound like Whitney Houston before she got on crack.

Some people are offended by the magazine parody, but that is how humor is. Sometimes it's a hit and sometimes it's a miss. But with satire, there is an extra edge that requires a relaxing of sensibilities. The early years of SNL were hilarious (unlike the later years when after a skit, you'd think what was the point). In one particularly hilarious skit, Chevy Chase and Richard Pryor went at it in trading racist insults - no holds barred. All the offensive racist slurs you can think of were exchanged in the skit. It ends with Richard sneering punchline of "Dead H_____" (leaving out the word so as to not offend anybody). Or there was a skit with Garrett Morris as a prison inmate auditioning for a prison talent show, where he sings about shooting everybody. Saturday Night Live pushed the boundaries of acceptable humor. Satire, when done well, will ridicule the social oppression and pat conventions which the mainstream is comfortable with.

For me, the magazine parody is a clever word play on US Weekly on the tug-of-war between Angie and Jennifer. Like it or not, that has been what the so-called triangle has boiled down to. Angie having the same family goals as Brad, while Jennifer didn't. I mean, UterUS Weekly? That is brilliant, especially in light of all the baby watch with Katie Holmes, Brooke Shields, Gwyneth Paltrow, Angie, etc. That's basically what tabloids cover anyway, so cut to the chase.

As someone who has gone record of my absolute absence of any desire for children, I'm not offended in the least. It's coming with terms with what you want in life and not making any excuses. That's where Jennifer royally screwed herself over. Don't be disingenuous about her career versus motherhood. Rebecca Romijin never made excuses, lied or rationalized her choices. Neither should have Jennifer.

Instead, right off the bat of the Vanity Fair interview, she made herself as the unfairly criticized career woman. Uh, no, she did that to herself and that led to the attacks of how she handled the breakup. As if her previous words and actions wouldn't bite her on the ass, she goes on a publicity campaign to declare how much she wants to be a mother. She will have children in 5 years. No, make that in a year. Tick, tick, tick.

Well, I'll be hiding in my bomb shelter if I've stepped on anybody's toes. Oh, African Girl, if you want to share my bomb shelter in case you need to hide, there will be a permanent ban of Celine Dion and Michael Bolton tunes. What a pair who both oversing their songs. #227 I'm sorry it offends you and you find it sexist. I took it as a joke on the TABLOIDS, and not on anyone's fertility or lack of it, but on the obsession the tabs have with babies. They care about marriages, breakups, and babies, and with half of Hollwood women either pregnant or just having given birth, I took it as that. The words "Full!" "Empty!" and "Deflating!" remind me of the labels under the pics on the front page of Ted Casablanca's Awful Truth online column. And it's certainly not meant to be offensive to anyone, or pick on anyone in particular, but to laugh at all the women in the same boat -- being a tabloid target simply for either being pregnant, having just had a baby, or maybe having one. I'm surprised they didn't have a speculative bump on someone as one of the pics!

It still amazes me that my strong independent mother is still very into "male work" and "female work". I don't have kids, don't want kids and can't have kids and I'm not offended in the least. Truthfully I don't know how I would feel if I did want kids and saw this fake mag. I hope I'd be able to separate my situation from what the mag is trying to do in satirizing the fixation the public has with celebrity pregnancies. I guess my point is depend on your family environment, how strong your family are, old fashion, modern, liberal...all the same, all goods...

If she did that she'd definitely move up a notch in my book, but at the same time it would be beneficial to BAMZ and help her fans let go of their animosity. As long as it appears that she's holding a grudge or placing the blame on him her fans are going to follow suit. And her acknowledging his new life will help people see that BP is not some lowlife who ditched his wife for a "younger and sexier" woman. It's amazing how people judge celebs for divorcing, especially when you're only getting one side of the story. If someone were to put their marriage/divorce under the same microscope they'd cry foul.

On the other hand, I think it's a lose-lose situation for BP or AJ. People who have already cast them as the bad guys are probably never going to see them otherwise. I know what you mean about coming together with distant relatives or friends and the get-togethers seem to be as if you were never apart. I'm like that with a cousin, whom I'm very close with. She and her family live in another state so it gives me an excuse to visit them at least annually. And we have relatives in another country, which makes traveling very convenient.

Cain you do make a good point. JA needs someone who will be somewhat of a father figure/husband. Someone who'll have the patience to keep assuring her that everything will be fine. She reminds me of my brother's ex-wife. Only daughter, had two brothers and a father who spoilt her to death. My brother was friends with her brothers.... both families were really close they dated since forever. I don't know if my brother knew just how insecure she was with everthing but a few years into the marriage, it was hell for both of them. For my brother because he couldn't understand her constant need to be rescued (think of the worst damsel in distress you've ever come across and then double it) and for her because she wasn't getting the.....response she craved for. What makes it even puzzling is the fact that she is brilliant (has a very good head for math)

A typical conversation with this two goes something like this: Wife - I want to do this, Bro- that sounds good. Wife - are you sure? Bro - yeah, of course. If it's something you want to do. Wife - what do you mean if it something you want to do? Bro - I mean if you want to do it, it is good. Wife - but you won't do it? Bro - no because it's not something I want to do? I am not interested in that. Wife - oh and you want me to do it.....well you get the picture. Imagine this conversation for every little decison she wants to make. My thinking is, she doesn't want to take responsibility for her decisions just in case it turns out to be wrong. It was her daddy's fault she married his friend's son. It was her mother and my mum's fault she had a baby a year into the marriage. It was my brother's fault she took the job that she hates so much. It is our (me and my sister) fault that her husband expects her to be strong...the list is endless.

You can imagine what hell my brother was in (of course the only issue they had). Well now they are divorces, she's moved back into her father's house and she is very, very happy. This is a 38 yrs old woman, with her own daughter, living with her parents. I won't deny that she has become more pleasant but I don't get it. I guess father....her parents have no problem reassuring her every single day which is not bad since she is their daughter but like I said, I don't get why she wants that.

I don't know much about JA and her relationship with her father but maybe if she connects with him (hopefully not to the extremes of my ex-sister-in-law) with her dad she she'd be better off.

In the land of Namibia, a name given to a girl to tell the people to be on the alert is Angaleni. Could that be one of the names Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt are considering for baby Jolie-Pitt?
According to a published report out of Cape Town, South Africa, a local Namibian governor is quoted as saying: "They are having the baby here and they talked about giving the child a Namibian name". Governor Samuel Sheefeni Nuuyoma is the governor of the Namibian province housing the resort on Walvis Bay that Pitt, Jolie and family are secreted at until the arrival of their little bundle of joy.

A report in South Africa's Sunday Times says Governor Nuuyoma met with the couple on Friday, and he says he believes Jolie is naming her child with a Namibian name because "she loves Namibia."

Toulouse is just a finality waiting on security clearance and visa paperwork. Apparently they have a relocation company coming to look at my house( I think they are going to buy it from me and then resale it). Just reading through my emails, it appears that I will have a mountain of paperwork to do.. I'm going to contact an attorney to weed through all the red tape to make sure it's legal.. I have a few projects to finish at work before leaving so I'm thinking around the first of July. Hopefully my Thesis will allow me to have Masters in hand by the end of May. I agree with you. Although I've been *trying* (didn't do a great job at it tho ;p) to inject some kind of humor into the whole thing, but this whole pseudo mob-mentality can be a little much. Some of the things that were being said coming from both sides (so I'm not just ragging on any one particular group) were outrageous. What I found surprising was that members of the same "team" didn't rat out the same team player for something outrageous. You do find instances of that occurring sometimes, but not as often as you would think considering some of the comments made. Then sometimes one would cheer on the other (now I have to repeat, this is from both sides) regarding one crazy comment or other. It's just a crazy business in this place. I realized that I was a part of the mob (not that I post a whole lot) and so I for one am not going to post anything else further, even though I am a BAMZ fan.

Anyway, I agree with the other poster about the morphing in the photo moi jade posted here too--he sure seems to be trying to copy JA's hair in that picture (just take a peak under that hat! LOL) Didn't notice the clothes so much.

Anyhoo...There's a site that has pictures with Pitt and his women as far back as J. Lewis. Sorry to say he sure looks like a morpher without much original identity of his own. But hey--at least he knew he needed to get out of that chicken costume and into something esle PDQ. i dont think hes a morpher at all, its just as simple as you connect with someone in more ways than one, if you live with someone or spend alot of time together your ideas tend to bond, when i was with my ex i would come out of the bathroom and i would find me and him dressed in almost the same outfit. (simular i dont wear blokes clothes!)it would be freaky and happened plenty of times! it maybe the same with brad, ideas molding together.

Brad Pitt is devastated after his friend's death on the set of new
film Troy. George Camilleri, a former Mr Malta body-building
champion who worked as an extra on the film, suffered an horrific
leg wound after jumping off a galleon as it approached the beach
in the Trojan War epic - currently being filmed on the
Mediterranean island. Camilleri, who had also appeared in
Gladiator, was rushed to hospital, where metal pins were inserted
into his leg, before he discharged himself to go home to his wife
Josephine and three young children. In the days after he left
hospital, kind-hearted movie legend Brad arrived at George's
home laden with a large television set, a DVD player and a
selection of films to amuse the patient as he recuperated. A friend
of the Camilleri family comments, "Brad then became a regular
visitor and enjoyed playing poker with George." But, two weeks
later, the extra was rushed to hospital after suffering a heart
attack - caused by a blood clot from his leg. Doctors released him
home again, but he suffered another heart attack and died.

As far as Brad saying he wanted girls. He said it on more than one occasion. Yes, one time he said he wanted a bunch of little Jens running around. Doesnt take a rocket scientist to know he meant he wanted little girls. He said also that
little girls melted his heart. I don't think he meant short females..or that they ACTUALLY did something LITERALLY to his heart, sometimes you have to read between the lines.

As far as the morphing, that is B.S. can not believe people still believe that. Brad had the "look" first for "7 years in tibet" Gwyneth cut her hair AFTERWARDS because she was going to be playing 2 different characters in sliding doors/ Yep Brad was there holding her hand....geesh!

Okay, I finally read through the posts for the day, thank goodness. Now I need to find denial (not just a river in Egypt) and can't agree. Are you guys here? What names are you posting under now, BTW? Don't be fooled?

Why can't you guys just post under one name and be done with it? I should think that there would be more than 5 of us posting with just one handle. To Remy, Iron Velvet and the real Lou, I read those too a long time ago. Saw that 7 days in Tibet too. That hairsstyle was a typical German blond sort of thing in that era he was playing (1940s?). Even Hitler had that hairdo although he was dark haired.

Before I forget, let's congratulate TC and KH on their baby. Same with Brooke and Chris Henchy. This is a banner year for HW babies. I wonder if some mag will do a photospread of all the tots born this year in just one issue. I can't imagine how much they'll have to shell out for the privilege.

So here's some common sense as I see it....I don't believe that anyone really has any true hate or love for BP, AJ and JA. (Except of course for a few on this site). The reason why people want to comment on this love triangle is because at some point everyone has lived out either BP's, AJ's and JA's part. And guess what, through them every gets to express how they really felt when it was happening to them. This is great therapy for many. (Anyway, it might explain why this site gets so many posts).
