American Idol Rocks Graceland

oh I like both of them (chris & kat). Just sad that one of them is going..argh.

I really hate saying this since she is my favorite but "Bye Kat". It's obvious that she's going since she was the worst singer last night, but i forgive her cause i know we all have good and bad weeks. I still have the McPheever i guess. Elliott really surprised me last night too. He was awesome, too bad he's ugly. I'm still rooting for Kat even though realistically I know she doesn't deserve to stay.

i think katherine is the one going tonight....but thats ok cuz tommy mottola can just marry her and she'll become hugely successfull................and why is Taylor still on this show? come on people be REAL he may be entertaining on a dumb show like this but in real life?? could you imagine going to an actual concert of his? no. or listening to an entire cd of his singing?? no. if he wins will he be successful? NO. his style of music is not popular, and is only liked by grandparents and their friends. please america be realistic and vote for the guy who actually will be successful if he wins and will have playable songs on the radio...CHRIS DAUGHTRY. i'm in canada so i can't vote...if i could my phone would break from dialing his number so many times....

Chris Daughtry is boring and not better than Taylor. You must be still a teenager to say that only old people listen to his type of music and that he wouldn't have a successful career. He's unique and does music that will sell, and of course people would go see him on tour. Because he doesn't just stand there and sing like Chris and Elliot.

Sorry but Taylor will not be successful even if he has a original voice. Do you remember Fantasia?? They all said she was going to be huge and now, nobody cares! Chris has the potential of being a real rock star, better than Bo Bice that's for sure, and Elliott is a really soulful singer, the way he sings is just fantastic, but i'm not sure a lot of people will buy his CD even if he's great!! And Katharine wasn't great at all last night! She pushes her voice too much when she doesn't need to! So, I hope that Chris and Elliott will make the final because they are the ones who derserve it more!!!

I have to agree with the assessment on Taylor, he isn't the sort of guy who would inspire someone to buy his CD. At best, he is a stage performer in Las Vegas. Chris, I can see him being very successful as a rocker, but I can see Elliott successful as well. Clay Aiken isn't a that goodlooking, neither is Ruben Stoddard, but yet they have gone on to have great careers.

Fantasia actually is very successful on the R & B charts, not the Pop charts. I compare Elliott's appearances on Idol to hers because like her, many thought she didn't have a chance, but during the last few weeks she outshone everyone. Both improved each week and she came out on top. More nights like Elliott had last night and I think he can win this thing.

As for Katherine, while she is talented, last night she just wasn't very good. Forgetting the lyrics, tsk tsk and her last song was horrible. I think we have seen the last of her.

dialidol said that Paris and Katharine where the bottom two last week and they where wrong so hopefully she won't go home.

I'm afraid Kat is gone, as well. I think she's going to be famous anyway . . . she's AWESOME. But she should have sang Puppet on a String and Steamroller Blues. Or any other songs than the ones she chose for last night. I think Elliott is going to pull an upset!!

I don't think Kat will go, she was bad last night compared to the guys - but she doesn't deserve to go based on that alone. I think the final two will come down to her and either Elliot or Chris. More than likely it will be Chris because he has been great since Day 1 and he has the it factor - as does Kat. I loved Elliot since the very beginning. They obviously got him some Crest White Strips he's been using and if he wins he can get his teeth fixed. I think his voice is amazing. I voted for him last night because I desperately want Spazz to go. He has driven me nuts since the very beginning, and I can't figure out why he is still there. If America has any sense he should go tonight because he is no where near as vocally talented as Kat, Elliot and Chris. He is mostly smoke and mirrors (and spaztic seizures) more suited for a Vegas lounge act or maybe even on Broadway since he is SOOOO overly animated. I think he'll be successful, just not as the winner of American Idol.

To answer that one posters questions, Elliott's CDs WILL sell like platinum hotcakes.

I totally take my comment back. YAY KAT is still in! I'm so happy. She needs to bring it for next week now. Wasn't Chris leaving the biggest surprise this season?

Yeah I am surprise that Chris was cut but he was in a state of shock. Did you see the look on Kat’s face – heck she was like WTH! Maybe she’s tired of this already and wants to go home. Who knows? Then again, I didn’t vote this week so I can’t really complain. .

I am so very dissapointed that Chris was dropped tonight. He and Elliot should have been the last 2 standing . Of the four they were the most talented. I've completely "lost" my passion for the show and am so upset that Chris is no longer in the running I see no reason to even watch. I bet I'm not the only one out there who feels that way and the phone "silence" to the show will tell the show how we feel about Chris being "let go" . That man will do "awesome" in the industry with the exposure he got from the show . Irronically it may turn out in his favor because he won't be legally tied up with American Idol, or limmited to what they "allow or won't allow " . He can take his time get a good manager (bet the phone is jumping by now with offers). I bet he winds up "out selling" all previous winners when the dust settles. Can't wait for your first CD and concert Chris ...I will be there!!

I'm totally with you on that Michelle, maybe it was divine intervention that he went now and is free to do what he wants. He's got no worries - he will be scooped up immediately and get a great deal.

I really feel that people just didn't vote for him because they felt he was safe and everyone else would be voting for him. That is the only scenario possible that would give him less votes than Spazz!!!! Gosh I hate that guy! I want him to go home. His spaztic movements are just so irritating and then Rebecca Romjin goes and requests an encore to fuel his fire. I think the way Ryan announced the fact that it was Chris was confusing at first and just so sudden without the usual build up, it was totally shocking. I can't even believe it. I told my daughter last night if Spaz wins this whole thing I won't ever watch it again. This was the first year we've watched it from beginning to end and now for what. If Elliot or Kat win, I'll be happy. Not Spaz.

It was a horrible night in our house when MOJO got voted off Amazing Race, then Chris on AI.
Now I just pray that Terry can win the million on Survivor, otherwise the whole week will be ruined!

I am very disapointed in the results. I can't believe Chris got voted off. This cannot be right! I called for the whole two hours from two phones on both of his phone lines and got through very few times!! I think a revote is needed. I LOVE YOU CHRISTOPHER ADAM DAUGHTRY
