• Nicole Richie caused a ruckus this past Wednesday with a legion of paparazzi as she helped film a segment for The Tyra Banks Show.  Nicole, 24, and Tyra, 32, shopped at chic Kitson and the not-so-hot 99 Cent Store in Hollywood.

• Hilary Swank and Chad Lowe were spotted together in the back room at Bubby's in TriBeCa. After the meeting the two also shared a cab uptown.
• Fresh Prince of Bel-Air star Alfonso Ribeiro (Carlton) is splitting from his wife of four years. Ribeiro, 34, filed for divorce from Robin Ribeiro on Wednesday, citing irreconcilable differences, according to Superior Court documents.

Jodie Foster is 'The Brave One'

Jodie Foster's The Brave One is set to open on October12, 2007. More pictures from the set in Brooklyn, NY have surfaced...  as well pictures of her sitting on the stoop of her West Village apartment, where her neighbors have called her out on being unfriendly.

Jodie Foster recently defended Mel Gibson's behavior saying that that her Hollywood pal is "absolutely not" anti-Semitic -- "Mel is honest, loyal, kind, but alcoholism has been a lifelong struggle for him and his family. I do not have personal experience with addiction, but I have seen it take many paths in people I know. He took his recovery very seriously, which is why I know he is strong enough to get through this now."

Good Morning, Underwood

Carrie Underwood always looks SO WELL PUT TOGETHER.  I forgot her stylist's name but she deserves an award or something. Always well-fitted and figure-flattering. Carrie sang three songs earlier today as part of Good Morning America's Concert Series -- "Dont' Forget Me," "We're Young and Beautiful," and "Before He Cheats" (her latest single).  You can watch the video below.

Carrie, 23, graduated college with honors (magna cum laude) back in May, receiving her Bachelor of Arts degree from Northeastern State University.  Her degree is in mass communications with an emphasis in journalism.  Graduation picture in the gallery!

Spamalot -- Me likey a lot

Spamalot is big, glitzy bundle of inside jokes that anyone can get into.

Its creamy center is comprised of crowd-pleasing, very faithful reproductions of scenes from Monty Python and the Holy Grail, with a dip into Life of Brian here and there. Added to this core material are playful nods to Broadway classics and melodramatic conventions -- be on the lookout for  Phantom and Les Mis, among others.

Rabid Python fans will smile early and knowingly as those key scenes from The Grail are reenacted. Though the actors' performances don't match the originals (and what could?), they are still hilarious and gain an extra punch from being performed live with bouncy song and dance numbers tacked on.

Spotlight on Ryan Phillippe

You play John "Doc" Bradley, a medic who was one of the Iwo Jima flag-raisers captured in the famous photograph.  Did you meet his son, James, who cowrote the book that the film is based on?  I had some amazing moments with James Bradley on set.  There's a moment in the film where Doc is wounded While he's on the ground, he hears someone screaming for a corpsman and crawls with shrapnel in his leg in rain over rock to find this guy.  I looked over and saw James Bradley watching me do this really heroic thing that his father had done.  He had tears in his eyes, and I started crying, and he gave me the thumbs-up.

I imagine Clint Eastwood took pains to get the period details just right.  He would sometimes stage images that he remembered seeing in Time or Life.  There were times where 500 guys were shooting guns and moving toward our enemy.  You're always conscious of the fact that it's not real, but when the explosions are going off, it feels as close to the real thing as you could get.  If a guy sprained his ankle, I'd tape it up.  I had a life-size dummy in my hotel room that I could practice on, because with Mr. Easywood, he expects you to be ready.  It was probably very strange the first ime the maid came to clean.

No More Matthew?

Matthew McConaughey finally left Miami yesterday (airport pictures above) after spending many, many days frolicking shirtless on the beach with BFF Lance Armstrong. In charity news... McConaughey's 1971 Corvette Stingray convertible was recently auctioned for $61,600 after 72 bids were received, according to eBay.  He'll be donating all proceeds from the sale to Oprah Winfrey's Angel Network for Katrina and Rita recovery efforts. The name of the winning bidder wasn't immediately released. More pictures from Matthew and Lance's times on the beach in the gallery!

Wentworth Gets His Starbucks On

A Wentworth Miller fan photo has surfaced taken just this past Monday on the set of Prison Break in Dallas, TX. Wentworth getting his Starbucks frap fix on, of course... Co-star Dominic Purcell (inset) was also snapped in a state of undress.  10 more days to the season two premiere of Prison Break... a big thanks to geniass for the Wentworth fix!!! Harajuku Lover Mommy

Rock Steady!  Gwen Stefani took 2-month-old son Kingston Rossdale back to the recording studio yestertday at Mix Magic in Los Angeles.  Gwen wore a Harajuku Lovers tube top and sweats, topped off with Dior shoes. Kingston modeled a graffiti print one-sie, part of his mommy's new line of baby clothes, Harajuku Lovers - the children's division of L.A.M.B.  More pictures in the gallery!

It's a McAdams Marriage

Pierce Brosnan, Rachel McAdams, and Mark Wahlberg were all spotted on Broadway at the Hollywood Theatre in Vancouver, filming scenes for their upcomiung film, Marriage.   Marriage is set in the 1940s and is about a husband who murders his wife to avoid her the embarassment of a divorce, Rachel plays the other woman.  As you can see, Rachel, 29, has platinum blonde hair and Mark was seen running around drenched in blood.
