I pledge allegiance to The Statue of Marsden…  Co-stars Amy Adams and James Marsden were busy filming more scenes this past Monday on the Brooklyn Bridge for their upcoming Disney film, Enchanted.  Enjoy this sneak peek of what looks like the wedding dress of Amy Adam’s character.  (She apparently marries Patrick Dempsey’s character in Central Park.) And Marsden definitely looks to have stocked up on NYC souvenirs… a NYC taxi bag, Empire State Building statue, and best of all — a goofy Statue of Libery crown!  After the jump, Marsden and Adams film in more casual clothing… picking up weiners at the Sabrett hot dog stand!  More pictures in the gallery!

Susan Sarandon looked wicked hot over the weekend filming Kevin Lima’s Enchanted. Sarandon plays the evil witch / queen who banishes a princess (Amy Adams) from their animated kingdom to present day (and live-action) New York City.  Will Queen Narissa rank up with Maleficent, The Evil Queen, Cruella, Ursula, and Jafar as one of the bets Disney Villains?  I’m thinking YES!

Patrick Dempsey, Idina Menzel, and James Marsden (see pictures of all of them filming here) also have roles in Disney’s next animated/live-action project, Enchanted.   The tentative release date is November 2, 2007. Patrick Dempsey and Amy Adams got married yesterday in Central Park!

Ok, just kidding. That was a half lie. They did get married, but as Giselle and Robert on the set of the movie Enchanted! Patrick Dempsey and Amy Adams were out in Central Park again for another day of filming, this time, apparently, for a scene in which the main characters get wed.

Amy Adams and Patrick Dempsey were on set and filming last week for their upcoming movie Enchanted. The movie is set to be released on November 2, 2007.

Enchanted is a modern fairy tale about a princess-in-waiting who gets banished from her cartoon world of Andalasia to the real human world of present-day New York.

Since the movie takes place mostly in New York, expect these two to be around for a while as they finish filming for this movie. More pictures of Amy Adams stuffing her face and Patrick Dempsey rowing and relaxing after the jump.

New York, NY :: 40-year-old actor Patrick Demspey (Dr. Derek Shepherd on Grey’s Anatomy) films scenes with 30-year-old actress Amy Adams (her shoulder pads look much better than James Marsden’s) on the set of their new movie Enchanted, directed by Kevin Lima. More pictures in the gallery!

Enchanted is a Disney film currently in production.  It uses both traditional 2D animation and live-action - the animation depicts the fantasy/fairy tale world, and the live-action depicts New York. Giselle (Amy Adams), a girl from an animated world is thrown out by the evil Queen Narissa (Susan Sarandon) into live-action New York, where the girl falls for a man living in the city. The film will be the first live-action/animation film by Disney since 1988 film Who Framed Roger Rabbit. Legendary Disney music composer Alan Menken will be providing the film’s original score.

Confirmed cast — Amy Adams as Giselle, Susan Sarandon as Queen Narissa and James Marsden as Prince Edward.  In negotiations — Patrick Dempsey as Robert and Idina Menzel as Nancy.
