Christina Aguilera: Cecconi’s Birthday Bash!

Christina Aguilera celebrates her 29th birthday with husband Jordan Bratman at Italian restaurant Cecconi’s in Hollywood on Saturday night (December 19).

The songstress, who is a one-time Pussycat Doll, will be making her silver-screen debut in the movie musical Burlesque, which is being directed by Steve Antin, brother of PCD creator Robin Antin.

“It’s going very well, and Christina’s great,” Robin told MTV. “It’s a great opportunity for her, and she’s really talented, obviously. She came and was a guest in the Pussycat Dolls [in Las Vegas back in 2003], and that’s how that really happened; that’s how my brother met Christina. … I think the movie’s going to be very cool.”

FYI: Christina is wearing the silver Christian Louboutin “Supra Fifre” thigh-high boots.

James Franco hosted Saturday Night Live this past weekend with musical guest Muse.

Rihanna shows off her goodies as she performs her song “Wait Your Turn” at Rockefeller Center on Sunday (December 19) in New York City.

The 21-year-old songtress also performed “Run This Town” with Jay-Z. The duo taped a segment for New Year’s Eve with Carson Daly, which will air on NBC from 10-11PM (ET) and the party will continue from 11:30PM to 12:30AM, all in HD. A performance by Green Day is also expected.

The 37-year-old burlesque stripping queen has been listening to a lot of holiday music lately.

“I do believe I have created a non-annoying Christmas music playlist,” Dita recently tweeted. “Good X-mas songs from… Kay Starr, Ella Fitzgerald, Johnny Cash, Julie London, Harry Connick Jr., Dodie Stevens and Brian Setzer… ‘Last Christmas by WHAM! is the first song on my playlist!”

After doing some last minute Christmas shopping, Hollywood’s favorite funny woman Anna Faris and her husband, Parks & Recreation actor Chris Pratt, wait for the valet to bring their car around in Hollywood on Saturday (December 19).

The couple picked up items from the Nordstrom department store and Apple, including a new MacBook Pro!

Disney recently put the kibosh on Anna’s latest romantic comedy, Wedding Banned, with Diane Keaton and Robin Williams. The flick was centered on a long-divorced couple who kidnap their daughter on her wedding day to prevent her from making their same mistake.

Jordin Sparks makes a special cameo appearance in musician pal Steph Jones‘ new music video for his own rendition of the Christmas classic “The Little Drummer Boy.”

The vid was just shot on December 8 and also features B.Scott.

As for what inspired the video, Steph says, “Think [director] Tim Burton meets Nightmare Before Elm Street meets The Nutcracker!”
