Actor Balthazar Getty (Brothers & Sisters) arrived at the 2007 ALMA Awards at the Pasadena Civic Auditorium on Friday, June 1, 2007.

Getty, 32, presented the “Supporting Actress for a television series, mini-series, or TV movie” award on stage with actress Judy Reyes (Scrubs).

Ben Affleck shared pearls of wisdom to students on Friday at the graduation of Washington DC’s Falls Church High School, where Affleck was the Commencement Speaker.

Affleck praised 19-year-old Joe Kindregan, a disabled student he met in 1998 on the set of Forces of Nature. Since then, the two built a close friendship. Kindregan invited him onto the stage saying, “He is married to the cutest girl (actress Jennifer Garner) … but most important he is the best friend you could ever have.” Affleck turned to the teen and said, “You’re right about my wife” (she sat front and center during the ceremony).

On his friendship with Kindregan: “I’m here because what I learned about the distance between how you see someone and who they are, I didn’t learn in Hollywood, I learned from a classmate of yours, my friend, Joe Kindregan.”

On his incredible acting abilities: “I haven’t been in space, I’m not a politician, I’m not a super hero – I’m not even a gangster. I’ve only pretended to be all of those – in some cases just barely.”

On believing in yourself: “What others say about you means nothing. What you say about you means everything. Your job is to make other people see you as you are.”

On not having any more degrees than anyone else in the room: “We will be tied,” he said. “I’m sure many of you could teach me quite a bit. In fact, I’m sure many of you could school me on that Smarter than a Fifth Grader Show.

A sweating buckets (but clean-shaven!) Daniel Craig gets some fresh air outside on the porch of his ultra-posh hotel on Friday in Cape Town, South Africa.

The Bond movie star has been in town with girlfriend Satsuki Mitchell for the past week (and will be for the coming month) to executive produce and star in Flashbacks of a Fool. He was also spotted shooting scenes for Fool at Bantry Bay on Tuesday.

Craig, 39, will play a pleasure-seeking actor whose Hollywood career starts to nosedive in his 40s. The death of his best friend from his English childhood causes him to journey back home for the funeral, and prompts flashbacks to his teenage experiences - including the tragedy that forced him to flee to the United States and a new life.

The 36-year-old celebrated writer/director flashed a quick smile to photographers as she pushed her blue-eyed baby along.

Baby Borat, come on down!

Wedding Crashers actress Isla Fisher sports quite the burgeoning baby bump at LAX airport on Thursday, returning from her week-long getaway in Mexico with comedian fiance Sacha Baron Cohen (creator of fictional Kazakh journalist Borat and satirical comic character Ali G).

Isla’s rep has still yet to confirm confirm the pregnancy, saying: “If or when Isla becomes pregnant, she and her fiancé will decide if an announcement is necessary.”

The Jackson family memorabilia auction being held Thursday and Friday in Las Vegas drew roughly $500,000 its first day. Michael Jackson’s mid-80s era, black-crested military-style jacket (left) went for $24,000 while his MTV Music Video Award for “We Are The World” sold for $16,000.

The auction is being held at The Joint inside the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada. Guernsey’s auction house is auctioning about 1,100 items of Jackson family memorabilia through Friday.

Jackson was spotted departing from London’s Heathrow airport bound for LAX on Friday (inset).

The New York Post reports, “The busty blond gal pal of married Yankee superstar Alex Rodriguez is a longtime stripper and Playboy Bunny wannabe who has danced at one of A-Rod’s favorite jiggle joints.

“Joslyn Noel Morse, 30, who most recently was an exotic dancer at Scores Las Vegas, has been repeatedly spied with the Yankees’ $252 million man in Tampa, Miami, Dallas - and in Toronto, where on Sunday, they had a cozy dinner at a steakhouse.”
