Nicole Richie (nice head wrap!) was snapped at upscale eatery, Cipriani Resturant in SoHo earlier on today for lunch with pretty boy boyfriend Brody Jenner.  Nicole, 24, and Brody, 23, have been spotted together all around town this past month.  More pictures in the gallery!

Nicole’s dad Lionel Richie gave his approval: "I was there when Brody was born. They grew up together. To see them together now is like, ‘Where are you going with this?’ But they’re having a wonderful time. He’s a great kid."

Brody’s songwriter mom Linda Thompson also gave her approval: "Nicole is like my godchild. … She’s a darling girl, very intelligent and very together.  I think they’re very cute as a couple. Will they get married? Who knows? He’s young and so is she."

The always ridiculously cutecutecute Rachel Bilson (and her Chanel bag) travelled through LAX airport yesterday afternoon, returning home to Los Angeles where she currently resides with on-and-off-screen boyfriend Adam Brody.  While passing through security, the 25-year-old actress gave paparazzi a glimpse (albeit a fuzzy one) of her driver’s license issued by the state of California.  Nice mug, Rachel! Natalie Portman (in one of her very familiar dresses) went shopping with her cousin this past Monday at a book store in the Neve Tzedek neighbourhood of Tel Aviv, Israel.  Earlier this week, she paid a visit to wounded soldiers who fought in the war with Lebanon by visiting them at their hospital beds and giving them morality boosts.  More pictures in the gallery including Natalie, 25, arriving in Israel late last week with her cousin!

Production for the movie version of Hairspray, which opens in 2007, is already well under way in Toronto, Canada.  Above is our very first look at Amanda Bynes (Penny Pingleton) and Zac Efron (Link Larkin) on the set of Hairspray pretty much looking the part of 1960’s Baltimore.  Nice lolly, Amanda!  Nice white kicks, Zac!

Allison Janney (The West Wing) was recently announced as joining the cast of  Hairspray. She will play Prudy Pingleton, the overbearing mother of Penny (Amanda)

Lance Bass and boyfriend Reichen Lehmkuhl  were spotted AGAIN with Lauren Conrad (left) and Heidi Montag from The Hills. Lance, 27, Reichen, 32,   Lauren, 20, and Heidi, 19, all attended the pre-opening party for club Tenjune at club ONE Little West 12 this past Tuesday night in NYC.   (FYI :: I cropped out Shannon Elizabeth’s face on the left.)

Jessica Alba used one of Hollywood’s secret weapons yesterday morning (left).  How does the world’s sexiest woman maintain one of the most gorgeous complexions?  Why, a session with facialist to the stars Kate Somerville, of course!

As for the outfit, it all seems to work.  The calf-warmers are off-putting at first but then they kind of grow on you.  New trend among Hollywood starlets? 

Earlier this week, Jessica Alba and co-star Dane Cook were shooting a kissing scene for their new film Good Luck, Chuck when they banged teeth.  Jessica claims: "I lost a tooth. Isn’t that disgusting? Dane and I were smashing our faces together."  Well, it looks like she got her snaggletooth replaced already!  Picture perfert once again…

Yesterday, it was reported that Jennifer Aniston was spotted leaving a recording studio in Malibu yesterday afternoon.  Thanks to the detective work of Lee, Aniston’s music man has been identified as underground DJ / producer Scott Hardkiss (he mostly creates electronic dance music).  Producing a Nike jingle, perhaps?

Nike is, however, vehemently denying that they are in negotiations for an endorsement deal with Aniston.  A spokesperson from Nike had this to say:

Thank you for contacting Nike. Nike advertising has confirmed that there are no plans at this time to feature this actress (Jennifer Aniston) in Nike advertising. Hope that clears this rumor up for you.

Fergie presided over last night ’s ‘Shake It Up’ dance contest finals at Madame Tussaud’s Wax Museum.  The dance competition was sponsored by Cold Stone Creamery, who distributed freebie milkshakes, in NYC’s Times Square. (Check out the terrible wax figure of Jon Voight’s lover, Shakira, in the backdrop.)

Fergie, 31,  (along with My Chemical Romance) will kick off the"Red Carpet on the Rock" pre-show that leads into the "MTV Video Music Awards.
